Oh honey, under that blazing Disney Polynesian sun where even your eyebrows start to sweat, a cooling station is not just a luxury—it’s a lifesaving intervention. Enter: Pineapple Lanai, your fruity little oasis of sanity. They serve up soft-serve ice cream that’s basically whipped Hawaiian vacation in a cup—made from Dole pineapple or straight-up Big Island vibes. And at $5.85 tax-in, it’s cheaper than bottled water at the airport and ten times the joy. The taste? As refreshing as SpongeBob’s entire real estate portfolio—yes, I’m talking house goals. Pineapple perfection, baby. 🍍✨

Google
A “Must Have”Disney Treat! When you’re in Disney World, indulging in a Dole Whip is practically a rite of passage, and at this particular location, it truly lived up to the hype. The tropical, pineapple flavor is refreshingly light and perfectly sweet, making it an ideal treat for a warm Florida day. Even if you spot a long line, don’t be discouraged, it moves quickly, and the reward is well worth the short wait. The texture is smooth and creamy, almost like soft-serve but with a fruity twist that sets it apart from your typical theme park dessert. Whether you go for the classic pineapple or try one of the swirl options, it’s a little burst of sunshine in every bite. This spot nailed it with fast service and a consistently great product. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World, a Dole Whip isn’t just a snack, it’s a must have experience. Trust me, your trip won’t be complete without it!

Google
The Pineapple Lanai is a small walkup snack service that sells a small menu of Dole Whip snacks at the Polynesian Resort. I'm sure the Dole Whips are the same everywhere, so I can't complain about the product, but the service we received was the worst we have ever experienced from our 10+ Disney vacations. We were the only customers in line, and my wife ordered a Rum Floater. The worker proceeded to hand us a regular Dole Whip and a side shot of rum! We said this is not right we wanted a Rum Floater, he got very rude and said that this is what we ordered and blamed us for his mistake. He would not fix the mistake and practically yelled at us for asking for a correction. I'm highly disappointed in the service here. I do not recommend trying this place. If you do, make sure they understand what you are asking for. Trip stay // March 30-April 3 2025 Overall Experience // 0 of 10

Atmosphere-4 stars- located at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Resort. This is a walk up window just outside the main lobby. The Polynesian is a beautiful resort with tiki torches, palm trees and Hawaiian vibes. The main pool is just steps away. Doesn’t get much more tropical than this. Service- 3 stars- your basic counter service. Food- 4 stars- The main event here is the Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float. Vanilla soft serve ice cream with pineapple juice. I got the pineapple/vanilla swirl. I’m not a huge fan of pineapple flavored ice cream but this was just the right amount. I’m sure most would give this popular icon desert a five star rating so a four from me says a lot.

Google
Dole Whip perfection! The Pineapple Lanai is a must-visit spot on Disney property for a refreshing Dole Whip. The soft-serve is delicious and hits the spot on a hot day. The line moves quickly, and the outdoor seating is a great place to relax and enjoy your treat.

Google
Our favorite treat at the Polynesian Resort!! We love the pineapple vanilla swirl dole whip!!! A MUST TRY!!!

Google
Always my favorite spot to grab some dole whip. Also running a stitch themed ice cream ( cotton candy ) might be temporary

Google
Absolutely loved trying dole whip for the first time! It was such a lovely location to try it and we ended up going with the pineapple dole whip! This location has a lime flavored one for a limited time and a vanilla version. You can get flavors swirled and it also comes in a glass with pineapple juice too! (They call that the float) Really quick service! Takes less than 20 seconds to get your order and pay!! Excellent experience with great taste and texture!!

Yelp
Love having this spot as a quick treat option when staying at the Polynesian Resort! The options here are limited and certainly not expansive as the spots within MK. You can get either vanilla or pineapple soft serve, you can make it a float with pineapple juice, or you can get a float + rum. I would love if they had POG juice to try here. Everyone always raves about that. They do have a few tables that are covered if you are interested in enjoying your treat there. The tables did get very dirty though and crowded. The line does get really long in the evenings surrounding the fireworks so just be sure to plan ahead if need be!

Yelp
When you are visiting the Polynesian resort, definitely indulge in a sweet treat here! After having such a big dinner, my mom and I still made room for a pineapple dole whip. This is a walk-up window right outside the back door of the lobby and to the left. Ordering was an easy process. I got the small pineapple dole whip. There were plenty of tables to sit at outside. The sweet treat was delicious. The pineapple flavor has a real pineapple flavor and is not artificial at all. It is mixed with vanilla ice cream that was creamy. Definitely get you one. This is a great location because it is on the way to the pool or back into the hotel. The seating is covered, which is great due to the unpredictability of Florida weather. This spot really makes you feel the Polynesian vibes.

Yelp
Yum! There's nothing bad about dole whip! Pineapple Lanai sits just outside the main lobby area of the Polynesian. It's a little walk up window with some tables and chairs. Their menu is limited to dole whip, dole whip swirl (with ice cream) and dole whip float (with pineapple juice). You can also add a rum floater to any of them. Dole whip is, of course, delicious either on its own or in the float. If you get the rum floater, they give it to you in a little plastic shot glass and you pour it yourself. It's a little awkward but certainly not a deal breaker. Portions are generous-I always get the float and then always struggle to finish it. Prices are maybe a little bit high but then again, it is Disney.

Yelp
During our stay at the Polynesian, we always had to come here at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day, lol. It beats going to the park, and you can just relax while having your dole whip. People who worked there were super nice and even told me about the seasonal offerings they had.

Yelp
The ice cream is a flavorful soft serve and Staff is kind and ambiance is outstanding!!

Yelp
When here, get Dole Whip! There really isn't much else to say about the Pineapple Lanai. Anytime you want a Dole Whip, you can get it here! Swimming in the pool... get a Dole Whip Eating lunch... get a Dole Whip Shopping at the gift shop... get a Dole Whip You get the idea, right?! Service is fast and friendly. Lines and be long but move quickly so be ready to order. It's a walk up window with a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your treat.

Yelp
I love dole whip and I love the accessibility to it at the Polynesian resort! It's so refreshing and light and just the perfect treat to combat the Florida heat and humidity. Just make sure you eat it quick because it melts so fast and they fill your cup full so it just runs all over your fingers.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
We came to the Polynesian Resort knowing it was one of the only places that have Dole Whip outside the park (at least off the top of my head). To start, this place is located outside of the resort and there isn't much seating in front of Pineapple Lanai. We got a Pineapple Float to share and the guy at the register offered us the add on of a shot of Rum on the side to which we said, why not. It's about what you expect as far as Dole Whip in pineapple juice but the rum definitely went well with everything. Very big portion so I'd recommend sharing if you just want a pineapple sugar bomb.

Joy M.

Yelp
Service was quick! It's not the real dole whip like in hawaii but it is what it is. 3 different option to buy, ended up with the dole whip float.
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
Perfect for that Dole Whip craving! There are also special Dole Whip flavors you can't find at the park or other resorts! Super convenient location too! Just go straight into the resort, then go back out the next set of doors and turn left. I was in the mood for some soft serve and ordered a swirl: pineapple and vanilla. From the texture to the refreshing and comforting fruity/cream flavors, I enjoyed every bite! I was also tempted to try the 'Olu Mel float because it's lime flavored, but I couldn't eat that much sugar in one sitting :(. Hope someone enjoys one for me!
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with dole whip any time! One of the only places not in the parks that you can find this awesome treat! The line moves quickly and there's a few outdoor seats to enjoy at, or you can eat inside the lobby.
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
I've had the Pineapple Whip at Magic Kingdom and it was decent. I was reluctant to give it a go when visiting the Polynesian, but SO glad I did. The Pineapple Lanai would be easy to pass by. Don't. The staff was super friendly and rolled with my handful of questions with ease. My twist was superb and truly a great value for a Disney treat. Light, tasty and it knocks it out of the park! We ate at the Polynesian Beach watching the boats come in and the sun beginning to set. Truly couldn't ask for a better vibe or dessert. Its worth a hop on -hop off the monorail.

Yelp
While staying at the Polynesian Resort during our visit at Disney World, my family and I had to stop by the Pineapple Lanai at least one day! This spot offers dole whips at the Polynesian Resort. The line can get lengthy, but it does move pretty quick! At the Pineapple Lanai, you can get traditional soft serve swirls and floats! You can choose a souvenir Tiki Sippers as well! The flavors are pineapple, vanilla or swirl. If you're looking for the Pineapple Lanai, it's outside the great Ceremonial House at the Disney Polynesian Village Resort. Service was quick and the team members were friendly! The prices aren't too bad, between $5-6 depending if you choose a soft serve or a float. The dole whip was delicious! My husband got a pineapple float and he enjoyed it! I'd highly recommend stopping by here if you're visiting the Polynesian or looking to take a quick break from the theme parks!

Yelp
While at the Polynesian Resort Hotel at Disney World we stopped at the Pineapple Lanai and had some treats. The service was great the price reasonable and the treats were great. Will return.

Yelp
Dole Whip... at a resort... with the option to add booze. I mean... how is this NOT a five-star review automatically?! Okay, in all seriousness, this really is a great little spot. If you're at the Polynesian resort, main house, go towards the back in the main lobby and out the sliding glass doors. Turn left, and there it is, a little gem situated in a resort instead of in a crowded park. Dole Whips have their own cult following, and I have to admit I get the fever. They're so tasty! This location can also do swirls with vanilla soft-serve, and they also make Dole Whip Floats (your choice of DW or soft-serve with pineapple juice). So good! They also offer a Dole Whip Float with a shot of coconut rum! Yes, it's delicious, though honestly the rum hides very quickly with the size and flavor of the float. But, that's okay, you can just take the shot separately if you want, they serve it on the side. That's all they serve: ice cream, Dole Whip, floats, and mixtures between the above. It's that simple. And simply delicious. Whether we're staying at this resort or just stopping by for a meal, we have to go to the Lanai for a Dole Whip!
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
Dole Whip, you invade my dreams!! Everyone in Magic Kingdom has the booth slammed waiting for Dole Whip. Standing in the hot Florida Sun, preposterous! Why wait when you can go to the window at the Polynesian hotel and get your whip on? They even have tables and chairs to enjoy you pineapple confectionery creation. I must point out, the country is divided? So are the Dole Whippers. Some say Dole Whip should be pure as the snow. Pineapple only. Ain't nobody got time for that nonsense! "I" prefer the swirl, half vanilla soft serve ice cream. It cuts the pineapple sharpness and the end result is quite lovely. It's the only controversy left that Disney didn't muck up. Don't get your pineapples twisted, choose what you like and don't let the influencers make a choice for you.

Yelp
Nice little tucked away kiosk at Disney's Polynesian Resort that serves Dole Whip. It comes in 3 flavours now, not just pineapple: lime, vanilla and pineapple. Rumor is there are also other flavours but that yesterday's offerings. You can also get it with a shot of coconut rum if you're over 21, and make it into a delicious concoction. (I highly recommend this). Stop by, get the kids a pineapple whip and yourselves an adult one to enjoy. You will thank me.

Yelp
Best Dole Whip ice cream is at Disney! We always grab one from Pineapple Lanai when not at the Thene Parks. It's especially delicious on a hot day!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Home to the famous dole whip! You must visit and experience the dole whip! Located in the lobby of the Polynesian at lower level and outside! It can get busy but the line moves!
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
I feel like Dole Whip is one of those quintessential must eat foods at Disney World, and Pineapple Lanai serves this iconic dessert with the benefit of being inside the Disney Polynesian Resort (to give you a taste of Hawaii) and also with minimal/no wait. There are lots of tables and outdoor seating options all around the shop so you don't have to worry about finding a seat.

Yelp
DOLE WHIP!!! When you are in Florida. YOU GOTTA HAVE DOLE WHIP!!! You cant leave without have a dole whip!! *ahem* Its at Polynesian Hotel. Long line? Nah. Not so bad compare to Disney World!! Quick service. Tables are limited BUT you still can bring dole whip to anywhere on that place- to beach, to your hotel room, to lobby, and more. OH MY GOODNESS!!! Dole Whip is INSANELY MAD DELICIOUS!! We LOVE IT. Best dessert ever. Again, best ice cream ever. YOU CANT LEAVE WITHOUT TRY DOLE WHIP IN FLORIDA!!!

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! This tucked away little spot at the Polynesian Resort is right next to Captain Cook's although it sits directly outside under an enclosed patio. This is the only place you can get Dole whips offsite from the theme parks. Be aware of the fact that due to popularity of this place expect very long lines!!! The only time you may get to avoid these lines is when it rains which is exactly what I did. My husband and I had just finished eating at Captain Cook's and seeing the rain looked over at Pineapple lanai and only one person was in line!! We got in line immediately. I ordered the " 50th celebration" pineapple Dole whip that came with a white chocolate edible medallion and a tiny umbrella for garnish while my husband had the regular pineapple Dole whip. We were able to sit right there in the small seating area to enjoy our treats. They were so good!!! You can also get it as a lime whip but I prefer the traditional pineapple flavor. It wasn't heavy and made the perfect dessert for us. In addition to the Dole whip you can purchase a pineapple float, a Dole whip with rum floater, soft serve in either pineapple, vanilla or swirl soft serve, and finally a pineapple float in a souvenir Tiki sipper. The menu isn't extensive but just enough to satisfy my Dole whip craving. Dole whips are dairy free as well! They are definitely worth the wait!

PackUpNGoNow L.

Yelp
The Pineapple Lanai is located in a small space outside the Polynesian Resort (first floor through the sliding doors). You can only get the classic pineapple Dole Whip or vanilla combo swirl here - cups ($5.49), Pineapple Floats ($6.29) and Rum Floaters ($14). For other flavors, go to Disney Springs Swirls on the Water or Magic Kingdom Aloha Isle. The Pineapple Floats are delicious - plus you get more Dole Whip with the floats (compared to many of the posted photos, the cup portion size served here has shrunk to barely two swirls).
google avatar

Yelp
Is it possible that dole whip tastes better at the Polynesian Resort? I think so! After a long day of walking the parks we treated ourselves to this staple Disney snack/dessert. It's the 50th anniversary so of course I had to splurge and get the 50th celebration dole whip which was just as delicious as it was pretty.
google avatar

Kyle R.

Yelp
A little gem here on WDW property, a great spot that offers the exclusive Dole Whips at the Polynesian Village Resort. It's a great price $5 for the huge portion size you get. The line can sometimes be long but they only serve ice cream so it ends up going by fast. And is well worth it for the delicious pineapple soft serve ice cream. A must visit whenever nearby riding around on the Monorail or staying at the resort.
google avatar

Savannah O.

Yelp
For Disney food-- this is some of the best quick bites to eat! Highly recommend the Pork Nachos (I usually never like pork, but on this it's delicious!) Large portions and good to share. These food items are found in the restaurant attached to pineapple lanai

Yelp
So it's not secret I love dole whips. They taste amazing and are dairy free which this lactose intolerant girl loves. It's nice to have an option to get them outside of the magic kingdom. On a Saturday night this place is popular. The line moved fairly quick. Tonight they had pineapple, vanilla, lime and cherry. I was able to sample the cherry and decided it tasted pretty good. They also allowed me to get part cherry and part pineapple. So the service was excellent and of course the quality. I will continue to return here on my trips to Disney.
google avatar

Yelp
This used to be the only location outside of Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland where you could get Dole Whip. While that is no longer the case it is well worth a stop if you are visiting the Polynesian Resort. The traditional Dole Whip is Pineapple Soft Serve Ice Cream. My favorite version is swirled with Vanilla Soft Serve and served with Pineapple Juice as Dole Whip float. However I don't think you can go wrong with any of the traditional options. On this most recent visit knowing that I would have a chance to get my favorite version at the Magic Kingdom later in the week I decided to try a new option that they had called the Te Fiti. Te Fiti (based on the character from Moana) consists of Lime Dole Whip topped by an edible flower. Pineapple is still my favorite but I enjoyed the lime as well and would order again.

Yelp
Pineapple Lanai is a Dole Whip stand located in the Polynesian resort right by their pool. Usually Dole stores are inside Disney parks but I was so happy to find one here. Dole Whip is a pineapple soft frozen dessert. It can be serve by itself or with pineapple juice. You can also get it with a shot of rum. I love dole whip. It's so refreshing and it brings summer memories back. What's amazing about it is its completely vegan and gluten free so everyone can enjoy it. Here in Pineapple Lanai Dole Whip is $4.99 or $11 with a shot of coconut rum but prices may vary with location.

Yelp
We were on the monorail and decided on a whim to stop here for dole whip. This place is located near the pool area of the Polynesian resort. We tried the pineapple dole whip with a rum floater and the 50th celebration lime dole whip. We should have just picked one to share because it was a lot of dole whip for 2 people, but we just couldn't decide between the 2. Both were outstanding, but my favorite was the pineapple float.
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
One of the few places you can get Disney's famous dole whip, this small kiosk is nestled within the Polynesian Resort. They also offer pineapple and vanilla soft serve which you can enjoy while taking in the beautiful ambiance of the hotel. I prefer getting the dole whip with vanilla ice cream or even the swirl. It balances out the acidity of the pineapple juice quite well. Regardless of your preference, if you're craving a Dole Whip this is the place for you!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
This is a pre-COVID review. Nice that WDW lets you swirl flavors. They give your the option of pineapple, lemon, lime, and sometimes they have another specialty flavor. We got the classic Dole Whip and again, it is ok, but I prefer to have the citrus swirl. I will say that I like that WDW and the Pineapple Lanai let you swirl vanilla soft serve with your pineapple dole whip so I will say that is a positive point that goes to WDW's version of the treat. It is super convenient to visit the Pineapple Lanai when you are staying at the Polynesian Resort and it's nice that you can get your fix of dole whip without going into the parks.
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Outside of Hawaii, these are some of the best Dole Whips around. The sweetness and tart flavor of the pineapple are in perfect balance here. They're pretty generous with their swirls too. I also like trying their season flavors when they're available. I only wish they could add fresh pineapple to the whips like they do in Hawaii. That would be perfect!
google avatar

Yelp
Along with Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, this is the best thing to ever happen to the Polynesian Village Resort. I personally feel that the Poly is the least "deluxe" out of all of Disney's deluxe resorts (sorry not sorry). But it has one thing that other resorts don't: the Dole WHIP. Yes, the infamous Dole Whip - the creamy, refreshing, pineapple soft-serve that's only sold two places on Disney property: at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom and now here at Pineapple Lanai. The WHIPs used to be sold at nearby Captain Cooks, but sometime over the past few years there were major renovations at the Poly and they built this beauty which is just steps outside the Great Ceremonial House. While they basically just serve the Dole Whip, you can get it a number of ways: plain, swirled with vanilla soft serve, in a float with pineapple juice, or infused with rum - ahh! Cool, refreshing, and not that bad calorically (really - I looked it up). You must stop here if you're staying at the Poly or if you're just anywhere in the vicinity. Disney knows what we like, and they totally came through.

Yelp
Refreshing One must try while at Disney's Polynesian Resort is the Dole Whip, a smooth frozen pineapple treat. Similar to a soft-serve ice cream, I found this cup to be cold and refreshing. On these hot Florida days, this was a welcome relief. Pineapple Lanai is a small counter place just behind the Great Ceremonial House with some tables. They offer a few other items besides the Whip, like a float with pineapple juice. The person taking the orders and making the desserts was pleasant. My one gripe is their ability to make this great looking twisted cup of whip with a hollow center. We had several and with each, the whip roping around the outside up to a point looked pretty, but more could have been included in the center part of the cup.

Yelp
Never did I ever realize you can nosh on a sought-after Dole Whip anywhere aside from Magic Kingdom! Ah yes, it's true! I swear Bob Varley from The Dis made these the legend they are! If you're at the Polynesian Resort and have a hankering for the fruity treat, head to Pineapple Lanai (opened in 2014) right outside the main lobby of the Great Ceremonial House on the first floor. It's simply a quick service window you go up & order from and the line can get long! They have some patio seating around the window or you can grab your whip and nae nae away. The menu is super simple - you either get a Dole Whip or a Dole Whip Float (which is a dole whip pineapple juice). Then you pick Pineapple or Pineapple swirled with vanilla. Done and done. What the heck is a Dole Whip anyways? It's simply pineapple soft serve but on a hot Florida day, it's a perfectly refreshing dessert under $5! Pro-Tip: Grab a Dole Whip and head to the Polynesian beach to watch the Electrical Water Pageant roll by.
google avatar

Andy J.

Yelp
I believe that this is the only place at Disney World to get Dole Whip outside of a theme park. Service is from an outdoor window and there are nearby covered tables and chairs just outside the rear entrance of the Great Ceremonial House (the Polynesian's lobby). A yummy pineapple Dole Whip is especially refreshing on a hot summer day. Now things got more complicated because they also offer lime flavor as well. I like the lime Heart of Te Fiti Cone that is served with an edible orchid. Here is a little secret, they also have lemon flavor. It's not on the menu. You have to ask for the lemon-flavored Dole Whip, but they have it. You can also get a cup of half lemon and half lime swirled in a cup.
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
It doesn't get much better then a Dole Whip, especially while strolling the grounds of the tropical Polynesian Resort. There are a lot of places to get a Dole Whip throughout WDW, but this is probably my favorite. It just feels so.... on brand. It's a tradition to ride the monorail, stop at the Polynesian, maybe grab a drink at Trader Sam's, and finish it off with a delicious Dole Whip while sitting outside enjoying the scenery. The menu really only has one thing - so the question is how do you like your Dole Whip? Personally, I stick to the original swirl.
google avatar

Yelp
The Pineapple Lanai stop in the Disney Polynesian resort doesn't really need a review. The star of the show is definitely the Dole pineapple whip that is iconic to Disney. So, I see lots of pictures of Dole pineapple whip on Disney blogs, Instagram, and various posts from Disney lovers. This is the first time, at my age, that I have tried the Dole pineapple whip. I get the hype! It's tart, refreshing, sour, and sweet-all at the same time! It's perfect and it complements the warm Florida atmosphere as a cooling treat. To find this little gem you go to the first floor of the Disney Polynesian resort and walk out the back door towards the pool area. The Pineapple Lanai will be on your left. You can order the Dole pineapple whip by itself, or swirled with a vanilla soft serve ice cream, or in a pineapple juice-vanilla float. Souvenir cups and bowls are extra of course, this is Disney after all. If you can't have your Dole Whip in the Magic Kingdom, it's worth a trip out of your way on the monorail to come here for it.
google avatar

Elise P.

Yelp
Best dole whips can be found here! I like them more than outside the tiki room and I like hanging out at this resort.

Annie M.

Yelp
Everyone raved about this place. It was really tasty, but I also can't eat a lot of pineapple because I've got a mild allergy/intolerance. It is VERY pineapple. Oh wow. If you love pineapple, you will die happily here. I got the soft serve hoping it would be more ice cream like and less pineapple. It tasted awesome and was so nice since it was stupid hot outside. About halfway done, my face was looking splotchier and my tongue was painful and swollen. Haha so worth it. My boyfriend had the float which I didn't try because I was thinking the juice would be worse on the allergy. He ended up eating mine also and was about to pop because they give you a TON. pretty much a whole pineapple. Also, the line is always long so be prepared to wait !

Ty K.

Yelp
What is more refreshing than a Dole Whip! I was so inspired, I later went to Trader Sam's at the Polynesian and had the adult version - highly recommended. Pineapple Lanai was delicious, quick, friendly and clean!
google avatar

Kristen J.

Yelp
I believe this is the only place that you can order dole whip outside of the parks (besides maybe the hawaii location!). It is delicious! During our visit they had the traditional pineapple flavor and a lime option. We sampled the lime flavor but ended up going with the traditional swirled with vanilla. The serving sizes are very generous!
google avatar

emily c.

Yelp
Still difficult to get to since it's inside the Disney Polynesian resort. However I'm happy that I did not have to deal with the parking garage at Disney Springs. Not as many choices as the Disney springs dole whip but definitely is sufficient for a craving.
google avatar

James A.

Yelp
Another Disney By James review! This is one of the only places outside of Adventureland where you can grab fabled dole whip. Nothing fancy about this location as it's just a takeaway counter at the Polynesian Resort, but it's usually quiet so you can grab your snacks quickly and be on your way.

Yelp
Always been a fan of the pineapple/vanilla swirl dole whip ever since it was sold in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom... For quite some time now, they started to only offer the pineapple flavor without the vanilla which was a bit of a disappointment since to me, this is way too sweet to finish- It's just not the same... Once we heard news that the pineapple/vanilla swirl lives in the Polynesian resort, my boyfriend and I made it a point to visit eventually. Visiting with family, we ate in the cafe downstairs and found the little shop outside and around the corner. Finally, we were reunited with the best dessert we've been dreaming about. The swirl flavors compliment each other so well, satisfying our long term craving and keeping us coming back for more. Visited the place 2 weekends in a row! Kind of a hassle to get to if you're on a time crunch, but soooo worth the trip!

Yelp
Yum, Yum, Yum - what more can I say. It is awesome to have the ability to order a Dole Whip outside the Magic Kingdom and my favorite is to order a pineapple and vanilla swirl with pineapple juice. The location is on the first floor near the entrance for the pool and there is often decent line for this dessert, but the wait is well worth it. I personally would love a shot of rum with this dessert, but they do not offer that option.

Yelp
This cool place is situated in one of Disney's greatest resorts on property; the Polynesian. tucked in the corner between the lobby and the pool park, this place is a great stop to cool off and have a delicious Dole-Pineapple ice cream treat. You basically have 3 options: Vanilla, Pineapple or swirl. Let's be real, go for the swirl!! It is amazing! Get it in the large ice cream sundae cup and you won't be disappointed. Sure it comes at the cost of a Disney price point but it's worth it. You get both typed of ice cream soft serve doused with pineapple juice to make the perfect cool treat for a hot day at the pool! They even sell them in the park (Magic Kingdom. Not sure about the others). if you're staying at this resort, or just checking the place out, like I was, stop by, relax, and have a treat at Pineapple Lanai.

Yelp
Are all dole whips the same? Not sure, but Pineapple Lanai has the creamiest pineapple dole whip. It is outside the Polynesian Hotel near the pool. You can cool off from the heat then take a dip in an amazing pool. I love this hotel and come here every time I'm in town. So happy they now offer my favorite dessert.
