We were invited to go to the Pineapple Point for a weekend getaway for a friend's birthday. From booking, to check-in and check-out, and every point in between, there is not one bad thing I can say about the Pineapple Point. The staff were all amazing - the utmost professionals who love the work they do, because it radiates in their smiles and service.
As we were "newbies", Brian walked us around and showed us all the amenities available to us and where everything was. He was meticulous with his tour and was full of fantastic information!
My husband and I were set up in Room 11 (which, according to Paul, one of the co-proprietors), is one of the two most-requested rooms (the other one is Room 12) and were delighted with every aspect of the room. It is centrally located to everything in the resort and very well appointed. We never had to ask for anything ... they had already thought of it!
Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.. Then there are other things to nosh on throughout the day. Happy hour is between 6:00 p.m. and 7 p.m. Both are free to the guests and are great! John, who helped us out at the pool, is such a good-natured guy, very funny and provided great service.
This is the sort of resort where you go to stay and not leave (or if you do, it's for short spurts!). I have never been to a clothing optional resort and was a little reticent, to say the least. But everyone there, from staff to other guests, made me feel welcome and not a pariah because I opted to stay clothed (most of the time). I certainly became more comfortable in my own skin and it is thanks to the welcoming environment Paul, Judd and the entire staff have created at the Pineapple Point.
I know I will be back - I have already made reservations for next month! But, beyond that stay, this is a new weekend getaway that I will use time-and-again.
Thank you all for a magnificent stay!
