First time to this restaurant and so worth it. I got the grilled shrimp dinner and it was flavored to perfection. The Gator bites were moist and tender and the drinks were a bargain and you get to keep the cups as souviners. The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly and attentive. Great view of the beach ⛱️ and sunset 🌇

Great barefoot beach resort vacation vibe. Pineapple Willy's in Panama City makes great daiquiris, and delicious seafood. I very much enjoyed the mahi mahi BLT. With indoor and outdoor seating right on the sand, there is plenty of room for any size group. There's even a covered pier with seating over the beach. The staff are professional, fast and friendly. The ocean front view is amazing. If you love relaxing on the beach, you and your friends will have a lot fun at Pineapple Willy's.

Everything about Pineapple Willies was great! The staff is well trained and very friendly and efficient. From seating to knowledge about the menu, to making sure to check on anything you made need. The food comes out fast and is delicious and fresh. We ate here several times while on vacation and tried numerous dishes. Some of our favorites were the coconut shrimp, chef salad (that was large enough for a couple of meals) and the mahi sandwich. The french fries were fantastic and the Pineapple Willie drink was the BEST! There is plenty of seating inside and covered outside seating right on the beach with beautiful views! We will be back and probably several times!

Absolutely! Loved the outside seating today! It was so nice, the service, the smiles,the food was just right... know what I mean?! Anyhow, we decided to stop in and I highly recommend you doing the same! We definitely will be back and be bringing my other 2 boys to have a experience they will not forget!

Some places are next to the beach, this place has a dining area that's on a pier that is ON the beach. A GREAT casual dining area with excellent food and service. Andrea was our server and she was exceptional. You can spend a little or you can spend a lot. The grilled shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the fried shrimp were very lightly battered. The fried seafood platter had more food than I could eat and had some of the best fried clam strips I've had in a long time. As a side note my wife said the Pina colada was quite tasty and they didn't skimp on the rum.

I went for the first time with my family of 6. We waited around 40 minutes when we got there around 5:40pm. We were seated on the pier and the view was beautiful. We ordered the nachos and my family liked them, they could’ve been more salted. We ordered our food and it came out within 10 minutes. The food quality was poor, it didn’t seem like a restaurant, more like fast food. I got the jambalaya and the chicken and sausage pieces were maybe 30% of the dish, and the rest was rice. I didn’t even try the garlic toast, but my brother tried it and it was bad. My dad got the ribs and they were pretty good. The alligator bites tasted like chicken. My brother got the mahi mahi basket and he said it was good. We went here because it has 15k reviews with an average of 4.5 rating but after coming here, I’m really confused as to why the rating is so high. Our server was nice but because of the food quality, we won’t be returning.

On vacay in Panama City Beach and P Willy’s did not disappoint! Jen was our server and made the experience even better. Loved the beachfront views, all of our food, and the moonshine. Highly recommend!

We did not order food but did order drinks. The drinks were amazing! The servers were very friendly and provided great service. The whole area is a vibe! There were several areas to hang out, and it was off of the beach. There were signs giving interesting facts about them and PCB. We definitely plan to visit again for dinner and drinks.

Pineapple Willy's is just a place to come to for the chill beach vibes! I mean come on it's right on the sand, you are basically viewing the beautiful beach sipping good drinks! The food was very basic, which we didn't mind because we could tell upon arriving. We ordered black pepper mahi mahi Caesar salad and the Po' boy shrimp roll. We had to get a souvenir cup, so we got the medium size with frozen daiquiri (blue raspberry and pina colada). Refills are 10 bucks! On the way out, I stopped by their souvenir shop! So many cool shirts to choose from, I just had to get the iconic shirt with the pineapple Willy on it!! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Pineapple Willy's is the epitome of a boardwalk tourist trap. Great view right on the beach, cute logo, and good service, but the food is not great. With the prices what they were, I was disappointed that most of the food either tasted frozen or was packaged. The grilled mahi on the sandwich was a decently-cooked piece of fish, but the fries were frozen and so was the fried shrimp. The salad dressings and sauces were all pre-packaged containers, so that's disappointing for a popular beach joint. I had a stomach ache after, so that's a bad connection in my mind. Overall, our great waitress couldn't save the average to below-average food. Willy stay or Willy go somewhere else next time?

The environment was friendly for watching a game. It's always a nice touch to have a table speaker option for in game audio. The food tasted good. My big ding is the wing sauce being on the side. The menu clearly disclosed it ahead of time. A friend of mine used to travel to the area and said that they must have changed since they last visited (unsure when). Don't get me wrong. The wings tasted good and I loved the pineapple teriyaki. I'm just a sauce on the wing kind of foodie.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the best drinks and the menu. Our food questions were answered and it felt like a friendly atmosphere. It's a great place to watch the sun set. Some of the outdoor seating is on a boardwalk type of thing but it was covered a little to prevent the February breeze.

Great first visit to Pineapple Willy's! They offered a wonderful BOGO special. We had clam strips and Mahi Mahi fingers. A great value! Both were excellent. The signature Pineapple Willy's cocktail in refillable glass was very delicious. PW's sits on a section of beach that gives million dollar views. Highly recommend.

Toni was our server, pleasant, personal and perfect! Good food for our 3rd time which should tell you we love the ambiance, the service is 2nd to none. Food always outstanding.

We were pleasantly surprised with pineapple Willy's. We had read some mixed reviews but nothing but a great experience. A wait is to be expected but there's a bar to one side that you can grab a drink at while you wait and the gift shop is a good time waster too. We got lucky and got seated all the way at the end outside by the ocean. Even if the food hadn't been great that view was worth it but honestly the popcorn shrimp was some of the best I've ever tried. It was so fresh. I tried the big Willy club with the pineapple coleslaw. I was impressed with the flavor of the coleslaw! Sounded like a weird combo but it works! You have to have a frozen drink of course and I went with the traditional Pineapple Willy. Super sweet of course but good. Go for the atmosphere if nothing else. It's a fun place!

Been coming here since the 90's. Great view, great bartenders thus great drinks...and the food is not bad either. A favorite.

Great touristy eatery and libation place. Right on the beach. Lots of parking. Friendly service. Good ribs with a free sand castle bucket. Can take very large parties. Fun place. Gets very busy during Spring Break.

Get here early if you are hungry &/or want to wait up to 2 hrs. This restaurant has the blinkie call disk when your table is ready, so sit by the beach, go to the bar in the building next door (apps & drinks only with a live singer). Lots of general seating with tables too. A free-for-all! But they have servers to get you apps & drinks all night! Inside the main restaurant looks sort of like a cafeteria- nothing special & not the "beach vibe" expected when you see the outside, but still very nice & clean. A good menu, food is fresh & the service is really great!! I wasn't feeling so hot, so I got the chef salad & it was worth $9.00! My entire table loved their meal choices!!! Wings were fantastic!! Casual, but I saw my share of cute outfits that were a little more business casual. We walked from the condo, Ocean Ritz. Can walk on the street or beach. Easy Peasy I'll definitely go again!!!

We enjoyed a great lunch and amazing service. Tiffany provided the best service we have had during our trip to Panama City Beach. She not only helped with our food selection; she went the extra mile to help us with the area. The food servings were generous and reasonable in price. If you decide to go there, ask for Tiffany's table and you will enjoy quality service with a warm smile.

Did you even visit PCB if you didn't eat at Pineapple Willy's? Am I right!?! We have a blast each time we visit! This time we invited friends who had never been & they loved it too!! Service is fast and extremely friendly (shout out to our server Amber who was outstanding!). The food is 100% delicious! We ordered the gator bites (FYI if you eat gator, they won't eat you!) Jambalaya (chefs kiss); Shrimp basket, Mahi Basket, kids chicken littles (strips) and kid's shrimp... it was all so good with generous portions. My kids loved their food (they don't say that every where)! Views of the beach and ocean are spectacular and the outdoor seating with cooling fans is what makes the visit even more memorable! We also ordered refills of our favorite beach drinks, Pina colada's & Blue Raspberry daiquiri. Get refillable bugs and the absolutely adorable kids Pineapple Willy cup! I bought a T-shirt at the gift shop too... There's no shame in being a huge fan right?!

Our first time at Pineapple Willy's was cool. We came here shortly after we got checked into our nearby hotel. The parking lot can be interesting but we located a park fairly easily! Whew & I was happy about this!!! Nor did it take long for my party of 3 to be seated. Win , win!! We opted to sit inside and we were able to capture a view of the beach. Service was fast and delightful. We placed our drink orders and placed our food orders shortly afterwards. No kidding, the food came out extremely fast!! I was scared bc it was too fast!!! We ordered mahi mahi basket , fried chicken sandwich and island nachos. I loved my mahi mahi basket. Unfortunately, my niece didn't love her nachos. She said they were cold and too sweet. My nephew did not love his chicken sandwich. We all equally enjoyed our frozen daiquiris. (Virgin for the kiddos). Yummy!! I had a Pina colada and a refill for $10 the next day! Yeah , that good and refreshing!! This is a popular spot. I recommend checking out if you've never visited before. I plan to return if only for the frozen drinks and views!!!

Always a treat to visit Willys. Great staff, awesome food, and very fair prices when compared to others on the beach. Go mid-afternoon, and the parking is awesome, and wait times are significantly better than at other times. Gotta give a shout-out to our server Gabby, who was awesome and joy to chat with.

We came right before closing and dinner was delicious. The gator bites were flavorful without being too greasy. Our entrees were good too although we weren't too adventurous when ordering. The waiter was super friendly too. I was a little disappointed we weren't over the water. We were at one of the first tables when entering the pier patio and people were right off the steps smoking with their drinks. Otherwise, it didn't disappoint.

Good drinks but food was limited. Not a huge selection to chose from. But the view was great and the staff amazing.

Food was ok. Frozen pina colada was fine. We waited a long time for someone to come to take our order. A lot of waiters just standing around was frustrating to see. Once we finally got a server, he was great! Nice very large outside beach bar with wooden picnic tables and nice views of the beach on either side.

Husband and I had the seafood platter for a late lunch. Plenty of fish, clams and shrimp with french fries and coleslaw. Could hardly eat all of it. Everything was fresh and tender. Nothing was overcooked. It was great. I had their signature Pineapple cocktail that comes with a refill glass and my husband had the ice tea. It is a little off season yet, so no problem getting in and being seated right away. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend.

A PCB classic - you have to visit at least once! Very good frozen daiquiris that come in a cool reusable cup (with refills at a discount!). Good prices on meals; highly suggest adding a side of pineapple coleslaw to any meal! Worth it! Good friendly staff - beautiful indoor and outdoor dining options. Literally on the beach so the views (specifically at sunset) are phenomenal! Warning: the lines are always ridiculously long and they do not accept reservations! For parties bigger than 4, it can be a very long wait. For our double date night, we were told our wait would be 1.5 hours, but we're seated in 45. Good news is - there's a bar and seating area that is first come first serve for those waiting on a table! You can also go hang out at their beach area as well.

The food was great! Service was amazing! The view speaks for itself! We had the gator bites which were great! They had plenty of local brewed beer that we like! Try the blueberry beer !

Was visiting from out of town this place was amazing views were amazing your more than welcome to walk down to the beach. Pineapple Willy drink I give this place 10/10

This place has a great patio. Nice beach access and a decent list of beach drinks. The food is meh. The service is slow. It was not busy when we went, but still took a looooong time for a server to attend to us. The mahi BLT is not great. The bun is too big and the wrong size for the piece of fish. Decent beer list. If you are just looking to drink on a nice patio. Maybe check it out

We arrived about 430, the place was packed but we were seated right away. Our waitress was great- friendly- attentive Food was good and large portions I had the club sandwich and it was very yummy

Post 1/2 Marathon Food and Drinks. Everything was great! I had grilled shrimp with mash covered in a magic crawfish gravy (can't remember the name). I also had a beer and a cocktail. 10/10 recommend! Server was great in helping me pick something to eat! Atmosphere is busy and the views are amazing! I'll def be back if/when I'm in the area again!

Our group of 11 got there a few minutes after opening for lunch and we were seated immediately, at a prime spot at the end of the covered pier. We had such a great view and our server was amazing. Everything came out quickly and accurately. We have SEVEN kids in our group and they had really great food options, not just a burger or chicken strips. It was nice! The iconic "pineapple Willy" cocktail was really good and I could actually taste the rum. I liked that it came in souvenirs cups. The pulled pork nachos with pineapple salsa were delicious, and the onion rings and fried pickles were typical bar food appetizers but done well. I like that they came with remoulade sauce plus ranch, for a little extra kick. My husband got the shrimp po' boy and didn't love that it was literally just a giant hunk of French bread with fried shrimp - no slaw or any other dressing to moisten it up. I got the grilled mahi mahi with pineapple salsa, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and garlic bread. I really enjoyed the flavor but the mahi mahi was over cooked. For the most expensive item on the menu at a restaurant overlooking the ocean, I'd think they could cook fish correctly. I would definitely eat here again, but I would probably stick to fried baskets, or try the ribs they're famous for. Overall, our group really enjoyed the experience.

Drove down from Fort Walton on a friend's recommendation. I was not impressed. To quote my 14 year old daughter "the food is mid". I had Mahi Mahi BLT. It was good not great and the fries were good. I was pumped to try their pineapple slaw but quickly realized it was KFC slaw with bits on pineapple in it. There is a reason it's 1.00. I don't think it was worth a 1.00. The tartar sauce was a Ken's packet. I like slaw and tartar sauce and both were disappointing. We also had gator for an appetizer and everyone enjoyed that as well. Service was quick, they know how to feed people. The view is very nice and the selling point for the place. It's a tourist spot, mid food,made fast, and not going to wow anyone.

Not a bad place to hang out! I love that there is seating on the pier right on the beach. We got to enjoy the nice cloudy day and look at the ocean. I didn't love the gator nuggets, but maybe that's because I kept associating every bite with a gator but it was filling! The ribs were amazing! The meat fell right off of the bone. You even get to keep the bucket the ribs come in with a lid. Super worth it! Service was great and pretty fast. I would come back for sure! ** I came back the next day with a huge group of people and they all said the gator nuggets were the best they ever had! Honestly I have a 4 star review because of the nuggets but I'm realizing I'm just not a fan of gator, and that's not a fair reason to give a bad review! So updating to 5 stars

Amazing service & appetizers. We had the redneck lemonade & lime margarita and they were both delicious. Food was so yummy!!

We had the bucket of ribs special. Piled high with melt in your mouth pull apart ribs. Messy Messy - used lots of paper towels. The place was crowded. Nice spot right on the beach.

Excellent service. Food was delicious. Gorgeous beach view. We had the ribs and the shrimp & grits and a key lime pie for dessert. I think the only thing I'd change is to use real whipped cream (spray can is OK) rather than cool whip (yuk) on the pie. As a bonus , the rib buckets were Buy 1 Get 1 Free tonight, so we brought home lunch for tomorrow! Will definitely go back when in the area again.

We've been here a week, and tomorrow is our last day. Finally we found a place that is great to eat! A+ 5STARS thank you to our waitress for a great experience! 12/30/24 at 6:00 pm we were table of 11 on the deck.

To be a popular tourist attraction we were highly surprised at the excellent food! We ended up here twice due to a water break at another restaurant we were going to. We got the Al E. Gator bites the first time which I thought were good, my husband thought they were a little chewy but this was our first time eating alligator so they might typical. I got the Mahi-Mahi Po' Boy and my husband got the Mahi-Mahi tray. The second time we got the Shrimp Po' Boy and the Mahi-Mahi Po' Boy again. I will be dreaming of these Po' Boys for a while. Cooked to perfection, so flavorful, and must try it with the pineapple coleslaw and remoulade! The service is quick and the ambiance is wonderful. Highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying your meal by the ocean.

Really good food, drink, service, atmosphere and location on the beach. We come here every trip to the beach, especially when we have friends visiting. Parking can be a challenge when busy though.

Come for the drinks not the food. Service was friendly but the food was sub-par; everything was missing enough flavor. We tried the shrimp po boy, pork nachos, and the grilled shrimp platter. The drinks were strong and good, and come in souvenir cups.

What a fun place! Love the vibe in this place! My friend had the frozen orange Dreamsicle and I had the frozen piña colada. We also tried the alligator bites and shrimp. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Love the T-shirt shop! I bought two T-shirts there.

This location is right on the beach and you can access from the street and from the beach/ocean side. We stayed across the street. Definitely a biker's place. Food is typical bar food, service is slow because they are always packed. It's super loud but family friendly. They have the bar section building where it's more loud and then their other building is more comfortable it and better for families. They have great frozen drinks!

The food is OK, the portions are the usual size, and the price is what you'd expect in Panama City, but my wife remarked that everything on the menu looks fried (she's not a fan fo that), and nothing stood out as particularly more appealing than elsewhere. With the adjoining souvenir shop, this place seems less like a family restaurant and more like a "beach vibe bar". It's certainly fine for families, and if you're looking for a "beach vibe bar" tourist trap with fried food galore, then Pineapple Willy's is where you want to be. As for the food: it wasn't bad, and it wasn't exceptional. I tried the Pineapple Willy -- (?) rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream -- and if they added any rum at all, they were pretty darn stingy with it, as I didn't taste any, in which case, am I paying $9 for the souvenir cup or for the pineapple juice? Very disappointing.

We sat way out by the beach with a 4 too. I assumed this was a typical tourist trap but wow. The food was great. Little pricey but so worth it. Big plus is the store and ease of parking in their private lot.

I forgot to take a photo of our food, but don't feel like you are missing out by that. It was nothing to truly show off. We were expecting this restaurant to be top notch, considering how packed it stays and how long the wait is. My husband ordered the Po'boy with French fries. The sandwich bread was a foot long. It had lettuce, tomato, and maybe 7 small shrimp on it. When it arrived it didn't have any of sauce on it or anything, just dry. The sandwich was basically just bread. Had the sandwich been smaller but more full, it wouldn't have seemed so skimpy. The sandwich was $16... definitely robbery! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was tender but flavorless. It was also way overly priced. I added bacon and cheese for $3 making the already $14 sandwich $17! I ordered chips with it, thinking we were going to get homemade chips but instead we got a bag of 99 cent chips. Just disappointing for the price. We will probably not go back. Our service was good and the view of the beach was beautiful, but even the view couldn't make us go back for okay food with bad prices and long waits. Our see

We all enjoyed our meals, I got the pulled pork it had a very smoky taste but it was still good. Everyone else got seafood and it was delicious. The pineapple nachos were a big hit too. Service was good and the place is huge and right one the beach so you can't beat that view. I didn't get a frozen drink, but they looked good.

We had the best seat, watching sunset. Server was very attentive and met all our needs. Ribs were amazing and tender! Just ask for extra sauce on the side, they are not saucy. Honestly the drink was good a little too sweet for my taste but cool to have the souvenir cup!

Pineapple Willy's has the BEST RIBS EVER! Full stop. Now in full disclosure, it's entirely possible that my opinion might be just a teensy tiny bit influenced by the delicious, yet curiously strong drinks that they also serve. But either way, they're ahh-mazing, and well worth stopping in for a visit, regardless of the wait time quoted to earn yourself that coveted table. So batten down the hatches tonight, Willy. And stay safe, my friend! You've still got a lot more ribs to serve up in your future.

Had an early dinner on the patio. Our server was less than happy to be there. Maybe we caught her on a bad night. I asked for recommendations and she said? "I don't know. You know what you like". My husband asked what beer was on tap. She turned that into a dull no as well. He then followed up to ask what local beers they offer. She literally said, "I have no idea". Shrimp was great but with that sort of service, there are plenty of other places to get some good shrimp.

The food was amazing. I had the jambalaya and wow was it good. The service was very good within sitting down we got our food/ appetizer in less than 30 mins. The ambiance was so nice. We sat on the patio and were able to see the ocean while eating dinner and enjoying company. Overall, we recommend this place for sure.

YES! PCB local here. Such good mahi and the outdoor spots are great. The popcorn shrimp are amazing too. The Ambiance is very.. touristy but hey! This is a tourist town, I love it though. The service is quick most of the time as well!

DO NOT waste your time or money here. Absolute garbage. I know it's convenient but PLEASE do yourself a favor and find anywhere else to go. I have no clue how on earth this place has such good reviews. Food was bland and the selection sucked, chicken tenders are the crappy frozen kind. Just don't.

As always pineapple Willy's is a great place to grab a frozen cocktail and some good fried seafood. We tried the nachos this time as an appetizer. They weren't anything special but tasted good. Our food came out so fast we barely had time to enjoy them. Overall good experience as usual. Our favorite place to sit is on the long outdoor patio that overhangs the beach! Great place for views of the water especially at sunset.
