Fynnville Motel

We were a group of approximately 30 guests with ages ranging from 7 to 77 years old-for days 10 days! Eugene and his staff (Joe, Iffel, Housekeeping etc) made us feel welcome, comfortable and a part of the team. The transportation, accommodations, and hospitality enabled us to complete our Mission work, become educated about the flora and fauna of Andros, connect and reconnect with North Androsians, and enjoy ourselves. This is not easy to accomplish with a group this large combined with the uniqueness of island life! Eugene made it a trip of a lifetime for so many of our travelers! We based ourselves at Pineville for a five day exploration of Andros. Eugene is an exceptional proprietor. In addition to meeting all our requirements in his hotel to enable us to be self catering he also naturally took on the role of advisor and sometimes guide. With great enthusiasm he gave us much information about the island, advised us on daily excursions, arranged car hire, taxied for us and gave us a half day of his time to take us in his car to some local sites, all free of charge. He also contacted people ahead of our arrival in villages so that they were awaiting us with hospitality.||He is a very generous and engaging man. He made our time on Andros an exceptional travelling experience.

The moment my fiancee Terri and I stepped onto Eugene's property, we were enthusiastically welcomed by him and shown the grounds, which we have to say are the most unique and well thought-out of any hotel, motel, rental, or bed and breakfast we've ever stayed at...||He has a colorful garden filled with the most helpful of the bush plants, with areas off to the side to sit in the shade and relax. There's also a petting zoo filled with goats, a sheep, turkey and a wild boar (among other animals), all of which are friendly and eager to have their photo taken for tasty leaves picked up from the ground. Then there's an area to get down and party -- complete with an outdoor bar and a stage for a live band! Behind this is a space that can double as an outdoor movie theater, or place to have a family or church picnic.||In a building across from the motel is a cafe and gift-shop where you can hang out and chat with the other guests, or jam out on the instruments provided. There's always a fresh pot of coffee on tap, and a self-serve bar with rum, wine and beer. In another room is a dorm/hostel for large groups. And most notably, this building houses a theater which rivals those you would find in a city like New York. The lighting, the the sound system, the picture quality are absolutely perfect! For added effect, the smoke machine turns on and you're instantly transported away to a world of fantasy...! ||The decor of the rooms is also highly creative and unique to each room. In his design, Eugene incorporates pieces of the natural environment -- driftwood and pieces of coral -- and fits that in with an artful paint job. ||The beds are very comfy; the rooms and bathrooms are clean; and the A/C is strong. Cable TV with several movie stations and American channels is provided for winding down at the end of the night.||I had several nights of sound, restful sleep while here.||During our stay, we got our rental car stuck in the sand out in a secluded spot. Eugene went above and beyond as proprietor and host and came to the rescue to pull us out with his truck -- what a great guy!||I highly recommend staying at Pineville Motel when traveling to North Andros!

A group of us from our church's family ministries visited the Pineville Motel and we truly had a unique experience. One of a kind. Eugene was very hospitable and did his best to keep everyone happy. Everyone had a great time and look forward to the next trip. Great place for a serene getaway.

My wife and I love the Out Islands of the Bahamas, and we were thrilled to find this great little place on Andros. The property in a great location, with grocery and gas very near by. Also close to some of the great beaches and attractions of north Andros.||||The rooms all have their own unique theme, and are nice and clean. Wireless internet was nice to have too. The owner of the hotel is a great host as well.||||We rented a car so we had a bit more freedom to explore around the island. We'd love to get back sometime.

Pineville is a small motel with (crazy) theme rooms, a central garden with beautiful plants, bars, food, a movie screen outdoors, a kick butt sound system, picnic tables and chairs, a small menagerie including a sweet pet goat and an early crowing rooster. It's on the main highway, yet quiet and central to all activities in the area. The driving force and enigmatic owner, Eugene Campbell, is what makes this place a real treat. Eugene doted on us, showing us all the rooms, regaling us with stories, supplying us with a car and game plan to see the sights, cooking for us, all the while - expanding his business interests and catering to his communities needs and wants. This place is not for everyone, especially those needing everything perfect who whine about every detail on the reviews, but we loved this place and Eugene( thanks Androsann for the recommendation). We had a 2 bedroom suite with one bathroom, kitchen, and living room, and it was clean and well supplied.

I was recently there as part of a class trip my child was on. This is more than just a motel. This is an experience to have. The owner made sure our group had a great time including allowing them to dance in the night club! His staff were nice and the garden area has a little petting zoo. This place exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Andros.

The manager Eugene is contagiously friendly and happy. He wrote the book on customer service. The Hotel is very unique, a great place to be and near everything in north andros, a grocery store and gas station is next door. The rooms have kitchens and are large or small-your choice.
