Pink Flamingo Resort

Super relaxed and yet well run place. Our key was pinned up waiting for us upon arrival in afternoon. The room was huge with outside area, cooking facilities and private. Lovely pool area and whole place has beautiful tropical plants and flowers. Both owners keep on top of gardening and were friendly. They also helped in recommending Wavelength as a reef operator as we wanted snorkel only. Place works and is about 25 mins walk from marina or you can get shuttle. Also about 15 mins walk to 4 Mike beach.

This is definitely a fun place with an outdoor shower, bath, hammock, patio. There's spacious living space including a large sofa a decent sized TV, well equipped kitchen, large shower and good sized bed. All in a very private, peaceful courtyard where you can lock yourself away for some peace. Lots of little extras from robes, mosquito coils, bug spray and bath salts are provided. More than you get in the average hotel! There's a laundry, shared BBQ, reasonably priced honesty bar, clean swimming pool, games space (with pool/table tennis). There was also a selection of games, dvds and books available. It's only a 20 minute straightforward walk to the centre and and easy walk to the beach (cut through opposite the Vietnamese place). Staff were friendly and allowed to us to check out a little later. I will say, it is a bit tired in places but that is reflected in the price. If you want shiny new looking accommodation, this isn't for you! It actually reminded me of a rustic Balinese villa. Beautiful, colourful and very tropical!

Very groovy, clean and functional. We stayed 5 nights in a Garden Villa. I was a bit worried about the dog friendly aspect, not being a pet owner myself, but there were no problems except a bit a barking. This is an exceptional value and a unique experience.

Paradise and perfection in every way. The villas are stunning, bright, airy, welcoming. Every need is provided for - beach towels, robes, cold water in the fridge?! Every turn revealed a treat - the pool! The kind, gentle and easy going nature of the staff and owners, the love they show to our doggo by letting her be a part of our holiday. This place is a treasure and is the perfect base for Port Douglas holidays. The fees are so reasonable considering the extensive provisions and beauty of the grounds. Thank you so much Pink Flamingo. We can't wait to come back.

Fun, colourful, boho inspired place to stay in Port Douglas. More authentic and laid back vs the other more sterile McMansion hotels. Great location and fun to have your own private courtyard with outdoor shower & bath

Husband and I stayed for 11 nights and it was absolutely perfect ! Lovely clean and spacious villa with private gardens and outdoor bath! We didn’t use it but the option was there if wanted! The resort was quiet and secluded and I loved the fact that dogs were allowed although we could not bring ours as we flew in from Melbourne! Only thing that was not the best was the tv reception at times but that was not the fault of the resort! Forgot to mention the pool and gardens were amazing! Hope to be back in the future

Pet friendly Just awsome all round!!! Price is good, the fact you have essentially a mini villa and a private courtyard like you can't fault thr place Legit could lodge there w 0 need to leave if bought all your supplies in ie food and drinks as the kitchenette jas a full fridge freezer and a cook top, and pans utensils etc. Loved it!

My partner and I stayed at the Pink Flamingo for three nights and it was perfect. It was quiet, the rooms were great, the pool and outside area were gorgeous and it was a quick walk into town. And best of all - there were no kids! So you don't have to deal with kids being kids. The gym isn't much of a gym, but who cares! Go for a run, borrow one of their bikes, do some sit-ups and crunches and call it a day - you're on vacation :-) This is now our go-to place when we come back.

Our first trip to Australia started off with a great stay in Port Douglas at the Pink Flamingo. Both Gigi & Andrea were wonderful hosts, very accomodating and socialable. We liked being close enough within a walk or bike ride from the attractions, but yet far enough away to feel like were were truly tucked away in a secret getaway. The villas were cute, cozy and we throughougly enjoyed our stay. Albeit we were there in the off season, we still had a great time. We'd highly recommend the Pink Flamingo as a place to stay!
