Pink Flamingo Resort

After years of travelling without my dogs I finally found a spot where the pets are welcomed too.||When I arrived at the Pink Flamingo I found it to be exactly as shown in the photos - the large pool and pet friendly villa. ||The villa is fitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s flamboyant, comfortable and private. The dog even got so comfortable on the second day that she started barking at other guests and their dogs like she owned the place.||We did notice some maintenance issues and the need for a refresh in some areas however it represents value for money accommodation. It’s appropriately priced for the condition.

We just loved this boho but clean, private and safe resort. Such a surprise - I’ve never stayed in another place like this. Ten little semi detached Bali feel studios accessed via a path of lush Gorgeous garden. Big grassed and fenced, very clean pool area complete with BBQ and honour bar - with no curfew on it! Hot night? Have a dip! Dogs welcome everywhere in the resort, even the pool area with you, except in the actual pool itself. It’s got the feel of a private funky backpackers without the noise and mess. It is well kept and very clean , relaxed and private. Definitely the best priced stay in Port Douglas you could find. So well located near beach and not too far from Main Street either. Excellent owners. Love it, love it! Wish there were more places like this little holiday gem!

What a 'groovy' place to stay. It was spacious and well appointed. Sadly the weather wasn't great, but it was still comfortable to stay. The place was a little tired in areas, just needed some time and love. (the moss around the outdoor pool felt a bit funky when getting in and out) It is a big place to maintain.

The most amazing beautiful place ever. I drove over 1000 ks for my mum to experience the unique pink flamingo 🦩 resort and of course, she was as impressed as me. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want. I Love everything about the place. The resort is immaculate and well loved and such generosity and thoughtful touches throughout the resort make things extra special. The pool is sparkling and inviting and the apartments are just spectacular, Bright, colourful and happy vibes. The outside bath is an experience everyone must have. Thank you for another amazing stay, I will be back.

Comfortable accommodation and pet friendly is most important for us. Our puppies enjoyed their time in here.

Lovely little resort, and they don't miss any of the small things. The bed was comfy, many pillows too ...and lots of private space within and outside the room, including a shared outside bathtub with bath salts provided! Free pool table, books, a pool and snacks that run on an honour system. Close enough to the centre to walk in 15 mins :)

We really enjoyed our stay here. First of all, Port Douglas is a great place to stay away from the busier Cairns, with easy access to the Great Barrier Reef tour companies and a short drive to the Daintree Rainforest area. We loved the location of the Pink Flamingo in the quiet neighborhood of town, yet within a reasonable walk or 5 minute drive from the downtown shopping area and restaurants.|We stayed in one of the garden villas with a comfortable king bed and adequately equipped kitchen. The private patio, surrounded by trees, provided a great place to stargaze at night and listen to the multitude of birds in the morning. The grounds are kind of a jungle landscaping and the bright color scheme of the unit was fun.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is quiet, relaxing and such a great set up. Clean rooms, friendly service and great facilities. We loved the courtyard outside our villa with the hammock. The location is really close to the main strip of shops which makes it really easy to get around. We’ll be back!

My partner and I stayed at the Pink Flamingo for three nights and it was perfect. It was quiet, the rooms were great, the pool and outside area were gorgeous and it was a quick walk into town. And best of all - there were no kids! So you don't have to deal with kids being kids. The gym isn't much of a gym, but who cares! Go for a run, borrow one of their bikes, do some sit-ups and crunches and call it a day - you're on vacation :-) This is now our go-to place when we come back.

Our first trip to Australia started off with a great stay in Port Douglas at the Pink Flamingo. Both Gigi & Andrea were wonderful hosts, very accomodating and socialable. We liked being close enough within a walk or bike ride from the attractions, but yet far enough away to feel like were were truly tucked away in a secret getaway. The villas were cute, cozy and we throughougly enjoyed our stay. Albeit we were there in the off season, we still had a great time. We'd highly recommend the Pink Flamingo as a place to stay!
