"Beaches come in an array of colors, but the rosy-hued shores of Pink Sands Beach in Harbour Island are especially striking. Located along the eastern side of the island, the three-mile stretch is colored by microscopic coral insects with bright pink or red shells." - Travel + Leisure Editors
We loved this beach. It was beautiful, we went in April which was a perfect time, not too hot. We stayed in Eleuthera & took the water taxi ($5 pp cash) each way to harbor Island & spent the day. Town was beautiful and the sunset was gorgeous. It was a wonderful day.

Calling it pink sand is really a stretch. If you’re seeing pictures of really pink sand, they are retouched or using a filter. It is a beautiful beach, but set your expectations appropriately. If you traveled a thousand miles to wade in pink sands, you’ll be disappointed.

Quite a few pictures seen here have a filter! It is still a beautiful beach, too many people for my taste though. Pictures enclosed without any filters.

Excellent! Crystal clear waters, warm and dreamy, Pink sands, there can be a rip current but you could spot it as it stirs the powdery sand. Be mindful that there are no life guards on duty. There was some sargassum present but some of the resorts were making efforts to cleanup (with manual labor) but overall is was gorgeous, a must see.

The save doesn’t look pink like that, definitely AI generated pics. Lots of sea grass on beach takes away some of the beauty and it has sand fleas

While visiting and exploring Harbor Island stoped at the Pink Sand Beach.
A tourist area as it had more people and more places to get food and drinks. Additionally has a horse riding rental.
Sand is soft and pink when wet. Water very clear and clean. Nice area to go too but more busy than other areas in Harbor Island.

It's beautiful but so is every other Eleuthera Atlantic Beach! I took many photos trying to capture the pink sands and you can see it in person better or the little coral specks in a handful close up.
We didn't think it was worth the expense to stay there or the fuss to get on the island as we enjoyed many other Eleuthera spots equally.
Attached many unedited photos without filters to see if you think beach is pink...and agree or not with my 3* rating - especially compared to any other Atlantic Eleuthera beach.
