"Beaches come in an array of colors, but the rosy-hued shores of Pink Sands Beach in Harbour Island are especially striking. Located along the eastern side of the island, the three-mile stretch is colored by microscopic coral insects with bright pink or red shells." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Fantastic! We went in a Wednesday in December, beach goers were very sparse. We had the whole place to ourselves. Looking at the sand, you can see the crushed pink shells. What a magical place.

We loved this beach. It was beautiful, we went in April which was a perfect time, not too hot. We stayed in Eleuthera & took the water taxi ($5 pp cash) each way to harbor Island & spent the day. Town was beautiful and the sunset was gorgeous. It was a wonderful day.

Calling it pink sand is really a stretch. If you’re seeing pictures of really pink sand, they are retouched or using a filter. It is a beautiful beach, but set your expectations appropriately. If you traveled a thousand miles to wade in pink sands, you’ll be disappointed.

It’s not that pink… and when we visit the beach is full of sea grass.

While visiting and exploring Harbor Island stoped at the Pink Sand Beach.
A tourist area as it had more people and more places to get food and drinks. Additionally has a horse riding rental.
Sand is soft and pink when wet. Water very clear and clean. Nice area to go too but more busy than other areas in Harbor Island.

A gorgeous pink sand beach on Harbour Island that is quite long. It benefits from having the resorts being up above the beach rather than being in the beach. Additionally there are not a bunch of chairs and umbrellas on the beach, but some so that guests can enjoy the beach. Very beautiful and a great place to enjoy the water and the amenities of Harbour Island. In sure the resorts are fairly costly, but a day trip from the main island of Eleuthera is doable.

Pink sand glowing like dawn. Each grain reflects coral dreams and calm. Pink Sands Beach is a love letter from nature — soft, rare, and eternal as the tide’s quiet song.

Just a magnificent beach! Words can’t describe the vibe this beach gives. The sand is so nice and soft and easy to walk for hours on that beach. A gem to check out if you made it this far to Eleuthera
