SO GOOD, and so many good flavors too! Had a big group so tried a lot, here is my ranking: 1. The banana brittle one, I LOVE banana ice cream and it was such a good solid option. Didn’t love the nuts in it but that’s just me but very bananay 2. I liked the Ube! Gorgeous color, fun new flavor, think mix between popcorn kernels, marshmallows, and vanilla 3. The coconut was super fresh, normally don’t like it but was good here 4. Coffee: solid option The caramel isn’t good don’t get it, that’s my tip there’s better flavors and this isn’t great

Amazing ice cream! We tried the coconut, cherry, and chocolate with macadamia — all absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Great little spot, the man working, might have been the owner (not sure), was super kind and friendly. I just had a root beer float which was as good as any root beer float but my husband loved the cherry ice cream he got. Unfortunately we found this on our last day so we didn’t get to try more but we will be back someday on our next trip to beautiful Kauai! Mahalo!

Easily the best Haupia(coconut) ice cream I've ever had. They offer local spins on classic ice cream flavors and also some island specific flavors as well. The Haupia is a must try. Ube is fun as well. Cherry truffle is also excellent.

Best thing I’ve eaten on the island of Kauai so far. We ordered Carmel cream shake and a two scoop waffle cone with Banana Mac nut brittle on top and aloha cherry truffle on bottom. The banana Mac nut brittle was good but the aloha cherry truffle may be one of the best ice cream flavors ever and this girl LOVES ice cream. Service was ok. She seemed abrupt but did warm up a bit. Probably gets old dealing with tourists. There’s a bench area inside to sit and a small bench outside to chill with your treat. Look forward to visiting again this week!!

Small ice cream shop in the heart of Hanalei. It’s worth giving a try if you’re getting tired of Shave Ice. Your experience may vary as far as your wait goes. We had about five groups ahead of us and it took about 15 minutes to get in. Once we were in, service was quick and we had our order within two minutes. We ordered the Oreo ice cream and the Caramel cream. Both were ok, not great, but definitely good. Not much score for atmosphere because you’re not allowed inside except to order and then once you order you leave

My wife and I went here during our first few days of our trip. This is a nice little ice cream shop with quite a few flavor options. I tried the coconut ice cream and Aloha Cherry Truffle. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced by Hawaii standards. We spent about $16-17 bucks total for 4 total scoops of ice cream. The service was fast and the owner was friendly. I would definitely recommend this shop.

This ice cream was the best I had during my entire trip to Kauai! We were a group of 8 ice cream lovers and everyone really enjoyed the ice cream, very creamy. Helpful staff. Definitely order the Kona Mud Pie!

Super cute ice cream shop! They have an array of flavours (classic and some special to Hawaii- pineapple, guava etc. as well as a vegan option. The staff is very friendly and ice cream scoops are HUGE and delicious! Definitely recommend!

I love ice cream, and when I saw that there was a highly rated ice cream place in Hanalei by the name of Pink's Creamery, I was excited to check this place out! We went on a Friday around 7:30PM and had a brief 10 minutes wait before getting ice cream in our hands. The ice cream shop is located near the shopping area in Hanalei, and there is a lot (about 10-12 car spots?) right in front shared with a couple of other shops. When we went at 7:30PM there was still a small line out the door as the shop only can service one customer at a time. Since were getting close to the closing time of the shop, they were out of a couple of items such as milkshakes. I got two half scoops for $7.75, which I thought was pretty pricey for two HALF scoops of ice cream - the most recent reviews don't mention this, so just note this. I have tried numerous ice cream shops where this is the price for two full scoops so I was a bit disappointed that they were half scoops. I got the Haupia and Aloha Cherry Truffle as my flavor options - they tasted nice, you can taste the coconut flavor and the cherry bits in the Aloha Cherry Truffle, but the fudge ribbons are bit more hidden and smaller than I expected in the scoops. I also forgot to mention, they also didn't do samples when I went, so hope you enjoy the flavors that you get! As for my experience, I thought that Pink's Creamery was only an alright ice cream shop, where the two things that disappointed me were the bizzare service of one customer at a time in the store, and the $8 - $10 for 1 - 2 scoops of ice cream respectively. If I'm ever in the Hanalei area again, I'm not sure I would revisit.

It's refreshing and delicious! Pink's Creamery serves great ice cream and gelato. It's a perfect way to cool down while passing through Hanalei or heading back from a day at the beach. They also serve grilled cheese sandwiches if you're looking for a light meal or savory snack. My wife and I had just finished a backpacking trip on the Na Pali Coast and stopped in Hanalei after the grueling hike out. We stopped at Pink's after seeing a line wrapped around the building. I ordered the Vegan Coconut Gelato in a sugar cone and was thrilled with the choice. It stands out as one of the best gelato cones I've ever eaten. If you get the opportunity, visit Pink's and try it for yourself. Enjoy! PRO TIP: Ask about their dairy-free options.

I found this place looking on yelp and had to try it since it had such a high score. The high praise is well deserved!! My husband got the Kona mud pie and it was sooo creamy and delicious. I tried the lilikoi (passion fruit) and haupia (coconut). I wanted the lilikoi to be a little bit more tart but still really enjoyed it. Their menu said the haupia was the best coconut ice cream, and it truly was! Absolutely delicious. They also had cans of Diet Coke which was a really delightful surprise! The girl working was super nice. She double checked to make sure what we ordered didn't contain anything we are allergic to. They have a really cute neon sign, and outdoor seating is available.

So many yummy flavors, it's truly hard to choose! I wish they provided samples so you could better select the flavors you want to pick. I ended up going with half-scoops of mac nut brittle and Haupia (coconut pudding)- both flavors were unique and delicious! Had I known I would like them so much, I would have gotten full scoops of each. Also I love how close the shop is to Hanalei beach. Very yummy, highly recommend a stop here!

Came just after breakfast nearby, and I couldn't resist homemade ice cream. I do confirm, this was insanely excellent. Best on the island? I didn't visit any other homemade places, but I doubt anything can top it. I got the banana Mac nut brittle and Haupia (coconut ) . Easily best coconut ice cream I've had, and the banana Mac nut brittle - yes pieces of peanut brittle . Say what ! Both were amazing, on par with Handles ice cream (world famous, if you live and SoCal and never had it check it out tonight, there are multiple locations ) in SoCal. So I do have a very high bar for ice cream, and this crushed it. If we stayed nearby, I would go everyday. They also have grilled cheese , with pineapple and pork. Smelled incredible, but did not order. The girl helping was nice, also from LA!

I got the banana berry smoothie and thoroughly enjoyed it. It isn't every day that you see a smoothie with pomegranate and cherries in it! My only complaint is that they no longer provide samples of the ice cream and the banana berry smoothie left lots of seeds in my teeth (but I was kind of asking for it with my smoothie choice lol). What ice cream place doesn't allow samples? What is someone gets a scoop and absolutely hates it? I feel like that'd be a customer service nightmare. Oh well! Still a great spot for ice cream.

We come here every time we're on Kauai for the quality ice cream. They have smoothies too. I like the mac nut brittle and the vanilla. Every time I've been here in the past, we were able to sample some flavors. When we went this time, the young girl working the front said they don't do samples - very odd for your typical ice cream place. Scared to be adventurous and choose a flavor I didn't like, I just went with vanilla. The girl also kept forgetting what people ordered and asked them to repeat it - it happened to the guy in front of us, us, and the people behind us. Not a big deal, but her age really showed in how she conducted herself. The ice cream is delicious, and I look forward to trying one of their shakes next year for our 5th annual trip.

Cute ice cream shop with a variety of flavors to choose from. It's off of the main road and seemed to have a steady stream of customers coming through. Pros: Good alternative to the shaved ice spot that's usually packed in one of the main shopping plazas in the area Cons: NA

Go here e for amazing ice cream and their fresher homemade waffle cones! We each tried our ice cream on a waffle cone and they were super fresh and tasty. Coconut flavor was great and my husband loved his mid slide. It's a small shop but with great customer service. There are some benches outside the store and a few picnic tables in the parking lot. The only negative to the place is parking can be a bit tricky but I promise the ice cream is worth it!

Best ice cream spot on the north side of the island. Perfectly situated near Hanalei Bay. My son loved the waffle cone & mango ice cream with sprinkles. Great spot to grab a cone & head over to the beach & enjoy!

Super tasty coconut ice cream. Decent priced and conveniently located in hanalei bay. I could see the wait getting a little long but otherwise super delicious. Would recommend the double half scoops to try more flavors

This is a go-to if you love great ice cream and great service. The shop is small with relatively fewer ice cream flavors, but this is the best ice cream I have ever had! We have tried many ice cream shops back home, and this place is by far much better. The flavor is great, it's creamy, and it has quality ingredients. The service is super friendly. Our family of 8 all kept talking about how delicious it was!

We had heard others talking about Pink's Creamery in Hanalei for some time but had never stopped by. We finally did on our recent visit and were super happy to see they offered at least one vegan option on their menu. The vegan flavor option changes often and the day we visited it was plain coconut ice cream. It was delightful, creamy, fresh coconut flavor and a fair sized portion. It was a really nice treat after having a disappointing dinner nearby. The interior of the place itself is a bit cramped with minimal seating. There was a small sign at the entrance instructing customers to enter one at a time that no one seemed to pay attention to. We followed the rules but found ourselves surrounded by other peoples children as we waited to pay. We exited as quickly as we could after receiving our cup and enjoyed it away from the crowd which I recommend if you go here. We walked here but there is parking out in front of the place but it seemed kind of chaotic. Your best bet is to park down the street a bit and walk up.

I don't even know where to start. I love a good grilled cheese but never had I see one with pineapple so I had to try it. It's cooked to perfection enough crunchiness with the bread and enough cheese to pineapple ratio. The flavors you get with the pineapple is just so good. A little bit of sweet with the sourness of the pineapple a match made in heaven. Not to mention the hot sauce on the side was so tasty. It is pretty spicy but I love spice. The entire dish was super delicious! *side note I had some ice cream too which was so good and creamy. But didn't get a chance to take a picture since I ate it too fast. I would recommend this 5/5.

Cool little spot that is in Hanalei. Hand made ice cream and probably the best place we went to in Kauai. I only had the cold brew, and it was excellent. Recommend highly.

Super good ice cream. I got the Caramel vanilla shake. I saw the Kona coffee cookie chocolate and had second thoughts about my choice.

A nice break from non stop shaved ice. The ice cream was creamy and the Hawaiian flavors were tasty. Service was extra friendly. Good seating out front for groups.

After soaking in the sun at Hanalei Beach, it made sense that I was craving ice cream, and thank goodness there were so many shops and eateries to check out in Hanalei itself, not too far from the beach. Pink's was easy to spot, while parking was not. When my sister and I found a spot, we walked for a bit before I got a chance to get my scoop. Pink's is quite small and they only allow one family at a time inside. When it was my turn, I went for the single scoop of Kona Mud Pie, coffee ice cream with chocolate and oreo pieces! I'm not usually a chocolate person, but when I travel to different places, I like to try local flavors. The ice cream scooper (perhaps owner?) was super nice to my sister and I. If I was a Hanalei local, this would certainly be a stop for me post-beach day!

The Kona coffee and the caramel cream were so delicious as was the chocolate chip swirl! The waffle cone was fresh and crispy. I will be back!

Classic ice cream shop where you can smell the fresh waffle cones upon entering the shop. Love that there are lactaid pills for those who may be lactose intolerant on the ice cream case. They also sell cookies here. There are so many good flavors to choose from but we chose the Banana Mac nut brittle and cherry truffle on a waffle cone. The only complaint about the ice cream is that there could have been more brittle in the actual banana macnut brittle ice cream, but overall the flavors were delicious and the fresh waffle cone was so good.

I've been dreaming of Kona ice cream since we got to Hawaii and ironically didn't get any in Kona. Didn't disappoint! Got the Kona mud pie - Kona coffee ice cream w Oreo and fudge - so perfectly sweet and good, and chocolate macadamia nut. So many cute local flavors - supposedly the best haupia (coconut) ever too. Wish we had more time to try more! Perfect when you're on the N shore. Is a tiny shop - one group inside at a time. No samples. Does double full or half scoops.

Incredible ice cream here - the texture is mind blowing. So smooth and creamy. My favorites are the mud slide, cherry, and ube definitely worth a waffle cone, too. There's a distinct cinnamon flavor to it that's to die for.

Such a fan of Pink's! It's primarily an ice cream shop, and their ice cream is delicious. I especially loved the Haupia flavor! They weren't lying when they said it's the best coconut ice cream you'll ever have :) they even have free lactose pills that you can take if you struggle with dairy. Such a cute idea! Aside from their ice cream, they have amazing toasted sandwiches! I recommend getting their originally grilled cheese with pork and pineapple. It hit the spot! The staff was always so nice and I had a great experience each time I came. Wish I lived on the island so I could come here more often!

I loved it here! The Banana Mac-Nut Brittle was absolutely delicious--definitely the highlight of my visit. My family enjoyed their flavors too, and everyone left happy. The overall vibe of the place is laid-back and fun, making it the perfect stop for a sweet treat on a warm day. Totally worth it!

I got 2 half scoops of coconut pineapple and Hawaiian vanilla bean ice cream! It was so yummy especially the coconut pineapple because it had mini chunks of pineapple and shreds of coconut in it. A nice little treat after a long day of surfing lessons.

Everytime I come to Kauai, I go to Pinks. This has been an 11 year tradition. Sadly, things have negatively changed. There was a weird vibe between the girl working the counter and the guy in the back. He seemed to be correcting her constantly and in a condescending way. I asked for a thick milkshake. The counter person told him to make it thick. It was thin and only 3/4 full. I made some comments about the how thin the shake was and the small portion. The shake with tip and tax was about $14.50. The counter person did not respond to my comments nor did the guy working in back. Very sadly, I will not go to Pinks again on this trip. I brought 8 other family members with me and they were not impressed with the service and price either.

Get the Ube, just do it. But honestly, every flavor they have is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and make it a great experience. We always make a point to go to Pink's any time we're in Kauai!

My husband and I were so impressed with this ice cream! It was so decadent and wholesome! Holy smokes. You can really taste the quality. Love the inventive flavors! You have to try the signature flavors. This was the perfect dessert after a meal at AMA across the street!

Very nice young man greeted and served us! Thank you for the aloha! He was very informative and pleasant explaining our choices of ice cream and said we should definitely come back and try the grilled cheese sandwich. The ice cream was amazing! It's a tight spot, a little hole in the wall, well worth the stop! We will be back as the vibe was welcoming, genuine Aloha goes a long way to getting a repeat visit! Mahalo!

Amazing ice cream. The description of the coconut ice cream said it would be the best you ever taste, and honestly it just might be. The ube ice cream was fantastic as well. I also love that you can do two half scoops to try two flavors without getting an insane amount of ice cream. The half scoops are still really large too.

Phenomenal ice cream. We got two kinds and both were fantastic. Friendly staff. Small place and only one party enters shop at a time to order, so be prepared to wait for this gem.

Anthony and his staff are amazing and make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in! Not only are the people there amazing, so is their ice cream. This is the BEST most flavorful ice cream my family and I have had. Our favorite flavors were coffee, cookies & cream and ube. Don't forget to get a waffle cone! SIDE NOTE: during our visit at Pinks my sister forgot a bag filled with personal items. We reached out to them and Anthony was prompt with his reply and was willing to meet us before our flight so that we could retrieve her belongings. This just goes to show you how amazing this place is. We will definitely be stopping by during our next trip!

Stopped by for dessert after dinner and this was tucked away in a shopping plaza. Staff was pleasant but it was a shame the sample options weren't available anymore. I was intrigued that grilled cheese was on the menu, but sadly we were there past 6 and they stopped serving. 4/5 - Hanalei sunrise - loved the bits of pineapple, really gave it a cool texture and nice flavor 4/5 - Ube - had to try this, and it wasn't too bad mixing it with the Kona mud pie 4/5 - Kona mud pie - very good Pretty good ice cream. Only stopped by because no Hawaiian ice place was open, but glad we did!

After enjoying Brazilian food truck dinner next door, we rolled over to get some ice cream and were pleasantly surprised by the super friendly And laidback local ice cream purveyor. Excellent ice cream and service and will try to make it back one more time before we leave town. Enjoyed our scoops as a family on the outdoor tables facing the bustling restaurants and Mountain View's.

Oh, yum! What a treat! Hubby and I both love ice cream and were psyched to find Pink's last night in Hanalei. He ordered a double scoop of Caramel Cream, which he said was absolutely "off the charts"! He felt a bit guilty ordering the double scoop so there was a bit left in the cup when he tossed it--and seriously, he looked like he was saying goodbye to an old friend! I had the double half scoop--a nice option for two flavors--of Lilikoi sherbet and the dairy-free coconut. Both really delicious, but honestly, it was as hubby's Caramel Cream that I woke up thinking about this morning. With 6 more days on Kauai, we will definitely head back to Pink's to try a few modes flavors!

The banana mac nut brittle ice cream was SO DELICIOUS and the cone is totally worth getting. The cookies and cream flavor was also wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed both. We also ordered a cold brew but for the price I'd have say it was a bit sour.

Good homemade ice cream that is so good with flavors that have a local Hawaiian flair- Mac nut, Kona coffee, mudslides. So delicious. The only thing I didn't like was they don't give samples. I like to try different flavors so I was a little disappointed.
