Rooms very clean. we had a cold shower and no one in the office Disappointed. Stayed there before and it looks like no maintenance has been done. Just little things. Close to facilities is the only thing going to it.

We had a fantastic stay at Pinnacle Holiday Lodge! The location is absolutely perfect—Halls Gap feels like an extension of the motel, with walking and bike tracks, the botanic gardens, and plenty of nature right at your doorstep. We biked to the Halls Gap Zoo in just 30 minutes, which was a great experience. The area is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The price was excellent, making it incredible value for money. While we did have to call reception to check in and for an enquiry, this may have just been timing. The rooms could use an update, but given the affordability, this wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a great place to stay for those looking to explore the Grampians without breaking the bank! Would definitely return.

We stayed here for two nights. The kitchenette is fairly lacking in amenities (only electric frypan, no pots, chopping board, or kitchen knife. There was a bread knife but nowhere to slice your bread apart from the sink). Kitchen sponge was old as hell and quite gross. Yes, that’s what we started with when we checked in. Hairdryer in the room doesn’t work. All of the sinks need to have their taps closed super tightly or they’ll drip through the night. The pillows are pretty thin and uncomfortable too. Had to fold it to get to sleep. I can accept an old bedroom for the price range but there are many things in the room lacking in maintenance. Pretty sure you can get a better price in the area. Only good thing is the location and price for a larger room.

We arrived during check in time to find the office unattended and another traveller trying to contact them by phone. After a 15 minute wait someone came to the office. They checked us in but when we went to the room and opened the door there was a very surprised man in there who had also been given this room.Another phone call and wait time for staff to return and sort out another room. We finally got there but after a long drive and both wanting to use the bathroom we found there was no toilet paper in the room.. that took another 2 phone calls and about 15 minutes to sort out. I booked this accommodation because it has a swimming pool. I went to use the pool to find it was locked and after another call was told that they think the filter is broken. Nothing on their information said the pool was not available and it appears it has been that way for a while. We loved the location and I'd probably stay there again.. I'll just be prepared for the lack of quality service. We didn't let it spoil our stay..

Extremely disappointing stay. The staff were consistently rude and unhelpful. During our stay, the shower broke—after my 12-year-old daughter used it, the tap wouldn’t turn off. I called reception, and while they attempted to fix the issue, we were eventually moved to the room next door. Unfortunately, this second room had no running water at all. Rather than relocating us to a functioning unit (which was entirely possible), we were told conflicting information and, worse, the owner blamed my daughter for “using the shower incorrectly.” We chose to leave the next morning and were assured we would receive a refund for the second night. Despite following up, no refund has been issued. Completely unacceptable service—avoid if you value basic hospitality and functioning amenities.

Fantastic location, walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the main street. Lots of wildlife around, right outside the door. Unfortunately our air conditioner was leaking a lot of water. The shower was also spraying water from the top of it. I had reported the air con to management and a guy came to give us a towel to soak it up however no-one came again or contacted us again to follow it up. No-one at reception on checkout so left the key and sent a text about the room to the number, no reply. At least acknowledge the text and respond. Swimming pool out of order, no notice of this prior to checking in and considering it was a hot weekend, we wanted to swim. Luckily there is a local pool across the road. Needs some money spent on it to update it and fix some basic things.

The room was good, but the staff didn't top up the complimentary sachets. The mattress wasn't comfortable enough. Wished they have organised a softer mattress. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

Worst sleep of my life, my back is killing me. The king bed mattress in our room is original from the 1960s with no box springs, we rolled to the middle like a folding sandwich all night. The whole place is like a time capsule (which can be super cool) but in this case it’s all the things that matter that haven’t been upgraded in over 50 years - drapes don’t open, shower is nasty, towels and blankets from the 70s, toilet runs all night. Do not be swayed to go here because of the convenient location, there are many more options nearby. Kookaburra looks similar, by the way.

To many signs stuck around the room felt like we were staying with an old grandmother. Bedding was dated.. EVERYTHING was dated!! Expensive for what you get. Many other better options
