Pinnacles Edge Resort

We had a pleasant stay at Pinnacles Edge Resort in Cervantes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very spacious — great for families. It was nice to have a microwave, utensils, and basic kitchen facilities, which made things convenient during our road trip. The property, however, is a little dated and could use some renovation, especially in terms of appliances and bathroom fittings. Despite that, it’s clean, comfortable, and in a good location close to local attractions and dining spots. Overall, a good stay and value for money.

We were all women, but we were given a room on the second floor. We were all carrying heavy luggage. We asked if we could move downstairs, but we were told all the rooms were sold out. We were staying two nights, and no one was staying downstairs. There was even a little dishwashing liquid left in the kitchen, and no dishes were being washed, so we had to wash them by hand. The kitchen only had a microwave, and it was said to be fully equipped. When I booked the room, I saw there was a barbecue area, but my room didn't have one. And the barbecue area are very dusty like the picture you see, The trash was full, but it wasn't taken care of because it wasn't cleaned at all. I booked two nights, so there must be trash to be taken care of, right? They couldn't possibly ask me to do it myself. We washed the dishes and returned them perfectly. Did we even have to take out the trash ourselves? The sofa in the room was also filthy. The washing machine was also filthy, and they charged a high price. There was no mention of paid laundry anywhere in the booking. It's a four-star hotel, but the service was terrible, unhelpful, and dirty. I saw some really poor reviews and having already booked we were a bit concerned and glad to only be staying one night. So what a pleasant surprise to go into our scrupulously clean room. Ignore the bad reviews- staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and the people who said it was noisy - i cant imagine what noise they heard. I really recommend as a place to stay if visiting the Pinnacles. The BBQ was spotless also though we didn't use it - walking across the road to the club which we also recommend.

We had a one bedroom ground floor apartment which was not clean. You could see where items had been spilt on the tiles and wiped but not washed clean. The towels smelt and the bottom sheet of the bed was dirty, not changed from previous guest??, and the pillow was really stained. The fridge also had a nasty smell.||A shame that it was so dirty needs a good spring clean. Meanwhile all the staff were polite and friendly.||Elizabeth

Booked 2 bedroom apartment with spa bath. Well, the bath was there but the tap was removed from the wall so it couldn’t be filled with water. For almost $400 a night I expect working facilities. Management couldn’t care less. Rudely refused to even acknowledge the problem.

Room had a very strong smell of bleach, shower door leaks, glass doors need to be removed and resealed, bed was uncomfortable, sounded like the springs had failed, brushed what looked like sand from between the sheets, maybe not changed since last guests? Room decor needs to be updated. Restaurant ok, decent size meals, wouldn't bother with the buffet breakfast nothing special looked like last nights leftovers.

Just went up for the night, close to the beach, general store and 18 minute drive to the pinnacles. Shower could do with a scrubbing - spots that they probably dont think of like shower door handle looked mouldy.

Is a sad motel we stayed Came to check in and requested for low floor as we have too many luggage but staff mention fully booked. Really ?? Not that we see all lights turn on. The BBQ pit damn dirty and rusty. Chair is dusty and room quiet dirty. Staff also mention room have kitchen and pot we can cook but inside room only have microwave!!! This is a joke . We pay over $200 per night and staff don't have idea what room type facilities should have . Told us that our room have individual BBQ pit ...but is not ....🫠. Look at that picture if you want to grill your food there.

Clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Wood fire pizzas are terrific on Sunday evenings.
