Pino Nature Hotel

Nice mountain hotel! 🏔️ We booked a room for one night, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The food was absolutely delicious, we had daily spa access, and breakfast was both tasty and diverse. We enjoyed the sauna, pool, and showers, all impeccably clean. There weren’t many people around, everything was well organized, the staff was kind, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Everything was great, with just a few minor remarks that might be useful for future guests. Room service came with an additional fee of around 18 BAM just for delivery to the room, something that wasn’t communicated in advance. It didn’t bother us much, but it would have been better to know beforehand. The phone in our room didn’t work, and although they said someone would come to fix it, no one did, so I had to call the reception multiple times from my personal phone. Even though they knew two guests were arriving, only one set of toiletries was provided, which wasn’t enough for both of us. One of the saunas was also out of service, the other one worked perfectly. Other than these small issues, nothing negatively affected our stay, we still had a lovely time. We also received thoughtful little touches, homemade teas in glass jars as a farewell gift, a welcome drink at reception, some sweets waiting for us in the room, and a large bottle of fresh water. I would absolutely come back! ⛰️

Spectacular hotel design and a wonderful location, especially magical in the winter. The most incredible and delicious breakfast buffet ever. The hotel staff is very sweet and polite, completely contrary from what many reviews are saying. The only downside are the guests, many of whom think this is a good place to bring their screaming children who are completely out of control, and they bring them to the spa area as well and destroy the enjoyment and relaxation. This hotel would be perfect if it was adult-only given that everything about it is very peaceful and wonderful.

Great view and design. The owner has a great mind to think about every small detail inside and outside the hotel. Kids area is available. People enjoy spending a day use around. Room was very clean, wide and had an excellent view. Services were very well and staff were friendly and helpful. Location isn’t that near to the city and we were very worried about the way to go to the city but it was a great surprise to use a cable car which is just 10 minutes a walk from the hotel and we used it to go down to the city and up again to the hotel, so no worries if you don’t want to rent a car or use the taxis. Also the view point is beautiful to see the sunset and enjoy time there. Even walking in nature around the hotel was helpful in getting peaceful mind and clear soul. The hotel is very suitable for yoga and meditation. I and my friend enjoyed our stay.

A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT ! I did not realize that the "halal" business concept discriminates all other guests to whom halal means absolutely nothing. So what you'll find as a part of this concept is that you cannot enjoy a glass of wine or bear, that you can access the gym only at a specified time for men and women, and that you can use the pool only in the hours designated for your gender. Also, for some reason, if you're out on the terrace past 22:00 hrs, the light shuts down and the coffee bar is closed, so you cannot even get a glass of water or juice. Some of the staff are pleasant, others seem like they're "high" on something and couldn't care less. The clean new sneakers I wore inside the hotel only, on carpets, were dirty after use. What is shown on the website as a marvelous spa area is a 12 m2 gym with no air and locked doors so you're to exercise and breathe in chlorine filled air from the pool area. The water in the pool was cold, in the room as well. TV channels are also mainly those from "halal" type countries, so don't hope for much. To top it all, there are cats who I've seen walking on the food serving tables, which is, hygiene wise, absolutely unacceptable. Also, while it is described as an architectural wonder, it's actually a bad copy of a lovely and impecable hotel at Jahorina, which mountains high standard of food and cleanliness for years. All in all, I've wasted my time at Pino Nature hotel 3 times at once: first time, last time and never again !

What should have been a peaceful escape into nature on Trebević turned into one of the most unpleasant hospitality experiences I’ve had in Sarajevo.||The prices are absurd for what you get — mediocre food and drinks sold at luxury-level prices, with none of the quality or service to justify it. You’re clearly paying for the location alone, and even that loses its charm quickly once you interact with the staff.||Speaking of staff: rude, dismissive, and acting like guests are a nuisance rather than customers. Basic politeness seems optional here, and any question or request is met with attitude.||The ownership doesn’t help the atmosphere either. The old grandpa owner just sits in his corner all day, watching but contributing absolutely nothing to improving the place or the experience. Meanwhile, the female owner comes across as stuck-up and arrogant, as if guests should be grateful just to be allowed in. That kind of superiority complex has no place in hospitality.||This spot survives purely on its location in the woods — not on service, quality, or warmth. There are far better places on Trebević where you’ll be treated with respect and won’t feel ripped off.||My advice: don’t come here. Save your money, your time, and your mood, and support places that actually understand what hospitality means.

My wife and I went here on October 8th for dinner. My daughters, ages 2 and 4, were running around and making some noise (they're children), but it wasn't too loud. It wasn't crowded. The waiter told my daughters to be quiet because it was a restaurant and guests would be disturbed. My wife and I heard this and didn't want to react. We've lived in Sarajevo for 12 years and used to love going to this place. But this reaction was very surprising... Yes, the people there were guests, so what were we? 😀 He brought my daughters some paints later and took care of them. Thank you for that, but the initial tone was completely unpleasant and unacceptable. I want it to be known. I recommend the staff be more polite and courteous. Best regards.

We booked this hotel because it’s halal-friendly and has a swimming pool, but it didn’t meet our expectations. The location is nice and surrounded by trees, but the nearest café or market is a 20-minute drive, so you really need a car. Food and drinks are also quite expensive. The pool was only open for 2 days during our week-long stay. Rooms were not very clean, with old dusty furniture, lots of flies in the bathroom, and no windows that could be opened, making it feel stuffy. Privacy is also an issue since rooms can be seen from outside unless curtains are kept closed. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were generally friendly, but TVs only have local channels and are not smart. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if you’re mainly here for hiking, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer holiday.

Objective Review of My Hotel Stay and how to improve? 1. Room Cleanliness: The room with a patio was not clean. The carpet was very dirty and clearly not well-maintained. Replace Carpets with Ceramic or Marble for Better Cleanlines 2. Bathroom Issues: The shower leaked water outside the shower area. The bathroom floor was wooden, which was a poor choice and should have been ceramic for cleanliness. In addition, the shower area was enclosed with see-through glass facing the room, which compromises privacy and feels unnecessary. 3. Bathroom Fixtures: The bidet spray was on the wrong side and was constantly leaking, causing inconvenience. 4. Possible Bed Bugs: I experienced bug bites, suggesting a potential bed bug issue. 5. Hotel Cleanliness: The entire hotel is carpeted and felt dirty overall. They should consider removing the carpet and replacing it with ceramic or another easy-to-clean flooring option to improve cleanliness. 6. Breakfast Variety: Breakfast was the same every day for 10 days, which became very boring and lacked variety. 7. Breakfast Timing: Breakfast started at 8 AM, which was inconveniently late for early risers. 8. Food Quality: The restaurant food was not up to a four-star standard; I would rate it around two stars given the overall experience. 9. Appliances and Coffee Machine: The coffee (breakfast area ) machine is very old and the coffee quality is poor. Other appliances, like the toaster, also need upgrading. They should consider modernizing these to improve the overall experience. The best thing about the hotel is the location and the other points need to be fixed if you want us to come back.
