Pinocchio a Pietrasanta

We initially found this from the alley and entered a cute small intimate space. We thought when we made the reservation that is where we would eat. But since it is the Summer they sat us outside on the corner. Very nice location in the middle of it all. Much larger than anticipated. The food was good, pretty plates and good flavors but nothing super special. I had the ravioli with burrata and zucchini while my husband had the curry couscous with seafood. The service was spectacular. Attentive and prompt without being pushy.

We came in on rainy saturday night with no reservation. They gave us a table and served us perfect food, excellent meat, the most friendly service you can imagine, so that we felt at home the whole evening at our first visit at Giglio

We recently dined at Pinocchio Restaurant in Pietrasanta and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was extremely basic, with small portions and no distinctive flavor or presentation – nothing that justified the reputation or prices of the place. What truly ruined the evening was the manager’s attitude – arrogant, dismissive, and completely lacking the warmth you normally associate with Italian hospitality. Instead of feeling welcome, we felt like an inconvenience. Overall, the atmosphere was cold, and the entire experience felt like a place surviving on passing tourists rather than on quality or service. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, welcoming, and enjoyable meal in Tuscany.

Been here several times spaghetti confusi is a must try, great quality of the fish and generous portions. 2 starters, 2 spaghetti, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine (36€) for a total of 60€ each. Not a cheap meal but in the price range of Pietrasanta.

Nice place. Nice food, but quite too many Russian folks.... noicy video playing kids included. Well, what shall I say....

Nice, artistic place, big portion of food. The service is not very attentive and the wine list could be better, there are quite a few options but for the same kind of wine.

It’s quite rare that all courses are delicious: from the starter all the way to an espresso. The ingredients are well paired and have a great presentation. Would definitely go back for more.

Our first dinner back in Italy since pre-lockdown. We've had good experiences dining there in the past. Ambiance - You're on a little side street in a historic town in Italy, what's not to like Food - Fried anchovies shared for a starter (I can't eat this stuff stateside) and two comfort pasta dishes to welcome us back to Italy. All outstanding. Wine - Great list, went with a Bolgheri, thumbs up. Service - Tremendous, friendly staff (it helps that my wife speaks Italian)

Off the square and tough to find, this little spot is a gem. Not much English spoken, but we went all waiter reccos. Started with vongolo with spaghetti and finished with a ravioli with a cream pesto filled with fresh burrata. Unreal. Some of the best pasta we had on the trip. Don't forget the cookies at the end, we have eaten them for days!!!! Staff was small and attentive. Easy parking outside the square. Beautiful little town off the ocean about 5 miles.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes and they were all a hit. The cartelized red pepper on the fried pecorino was sublime. All pastas, including ravioli were cooked al dente and fresh. Service was accommodating and considerate. Would go here again without hesitation.

Great first course. Made the mistake of ordering a curry seafood in Italy. I don't know what I was thinking.
