We had a courtesy block at Pinon Court for our wedding, and also booked a deluxe king suite for the nights before and after our wedding. It was wonderful! Our second-floor suite was spacious, bright, and airy with a fireplace and balcony. There was plenty of room for a dozen gals to get ready and hang out on the wedding day. Management: market this as a bridal suite! But if you do, add a hook to hang a wedding dress from while steaming (somewhere very high!), and keep a good steamer in the room. Staff were also great, breakfast was solid, and location is fantastic. Highly recommend!

The Piñon is AMAZING. We stayed here for one night while driving through to Phoenix. This was the perfect place. They have a gorgeous property no more than a 3 minute walk to downtown. Each room has a fireplace and is extremely dog friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Stayed in room 40 and it was very nice. Bathroom was updated, bed was comfortable, room was good size, and the fireplace was so nice to be able to have. No elevator but was fine for us since it was the second floor. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to go to breakfast before 8 if you can, people tend to just sit around in there and just talk which makes it hard to get a table to eat. The location is close to many stores and sites, which can be good and bad. We stayed over a weekend and the traffic on the street was extremely loud at night with sirens, cars revving engines and playing loud music late into the night makes it hard to sleep, even with a white noise machine. Not sure if that is a main street or just one of those things. Hotel is very well taken care of and has that flair of Santa Fe.

This hotel is a little gem! Recently renovated, great beds and linens and a terrific breakfast buffet. Walking distance to everything. We had a little suite with a king sized bed and a separate sitting room with a desk. A private patio at the door with 2 chairs. Very comfy! And priced right too!

First time to Santa Fe on a trip with my sister. This hotel is very comfortable, the rooms clean and well appointed. Staff is friendly and a full breakfast included is a plus. It was a good location for us to walk to galleries and historic sites. Beautiful city, nice hotel! Would definitely return.

Great location for tourists doing downtown Santa Fe. A 15 minute walk from everything in the old downtown. Less than 10 minute walk to the Santa Fe depot for those taking the Rail Runner. ||Not the nicest place I've stayed, but clean, quiet and good location. Staff were always at the front desk and the breakfast each morning had eggs, meat and deliciously ripe fruit.||Single queen rooms are in clearly older motel style building that's been remodeled. The original U-shaped older building with the single rooms (doors open directly into parking lot) has been added on to with a 2-story extension. Wish when they were remodeling they'd better reallocated the bathroom layout. Bathroom was tight. The door barely cleared the toilet and the shower is ~8 inches from the toilet. Not much space in the bathroom to towel off or get dressed. While the sink (outside the bathroom) had a huge counter. ||Found a few minor things needing repair that I told the staff about (broken shutter and toilet paper holder coming out of the drywall), but asked them not repair until after my stay as I didn't want to deal with maintenance being in and out of the room. Hope they follow up.

The hotel and the location were fine. What I did not like were the extra charges that appeared on our credit card after we left. When I called the hotel and inquired about those charges, I was told that they were extra amenities like Wi-Fi, breakfast, parking, and the gym. When I checked the website, the Wi-Fi and breakfast were labeled as free. I have never paid to park my vehicle at a hotel in my life. I really would like to know what the extra $81 per room went towards. I won’t be staying at this hotel again. I think the cost of the rooms was more than enough to cover all of those extra charges.

The location was adjacent to the plaza, but very quiet and serene. The rooms are lovely, pristinely clean, and actually look exactly as they do on the website. The bed was comfortable. The walk-in shower and hardwood floors were a nice touch, creating a comfortable, pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful - be sure to ask them for recommendations for dining!

Yelp
Nice clean rooms, Queen bed a bit small for us but mattress was comfy. Shower worked very well. Kiva fireplace in the corner though not needed as end of October still warm. We had Room 20 - nice because it had a table and four chairs right outside for common use. The rooms are arranged in courtyard style with parking outside. The breakfast burrito bar was great and everyone was tucking in nicely. It would have been nice to have vegetarian sausage and bacon options to add to our potato and egg burrito. The green chile was yummy.I would also recommend upgrading the tea bags from Bigelow for us Brits, fortunately I had brought my own. There is a nice little al fresco courtyard for sitting and winding down. the walk to the square was about 5 minutes. Easy Peasy. All this for $211 on a Monday.

Yelp
Comfortable room at a reasonable price. The mattress was old and not as nice as I would have hoped for. Excellent shower. Buffet breakfast was exceptional. Lots of fresh fruit, tortillas, sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs with toppings, breakfast potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, good coffee.

Yelp
Really nice place just off the square, clean, comfortable and nice staff I'd stay here again. Such a great little town

Yelp
This is still a nice place; pet friendly; and convenient to the plaza. We have come every year for many years. This year, the name changed and the service did too. 1. We arrived about 2:30 and our room was not ready. (I find it odd that check in time is 4:00, when check out is at 11:00. ) We were told we would be called or texted when the room was ready. At 4:00 we were out but still no one had called. Since we had early dinner reservations we came back and, surprise, our room was, in fact, ready. Don't say you will call if you are not going to. 2. Our TV did not work. We were told we would get a credit on our bill but when we checked out, the desk clerk said a manager would contact us about the credit. No one ever did. But when we gave a negative review on Tripadvisor, the general manager responded and said we did not report any maintenance issues while "in house". This is a complete misrepresentation as we had called from the room and told whoever answered that our TV would not connect to the cable and read the error on the screen. They said they could not send someone and since we were leaving the next day we would get a credit on our balance at checkout. Excuses are one thing; lying about it is something else. 3. Amenities: Can they find any smaller soap "bars"? I hate waste but seriously? You know the little Hershey chocolate bites? They must use the same mold. And the shower soap pumps did not work well or were almost empty; I couldn't tell. 4. The hidden cost called the "$25 dollar nightly hotel fee" for parking (that used to be free), "gourmet breakfast", in-room coffee, and bottle water. Lastly, it's not a big deal but another example is the fact that coffee is now served from paper cups instead of mugs. (The manager also said coffee mugs are "readily available" at breakfast. Just not the two days I was there, apparently.) It seems like the "change" from The Old Santa Fe Inn has resulted in cost cutting and excuses rather than any improved quality of stay.
