"In Fayetteville, Arkansas, Bo Counts transforms his bar Pinpoint each year into Nightmare on Block Street, a monthlong extension of the Halloween parties he used to throw as an event promoter. My first Christmas bar of 2024 was a good choice! I’ve been to many Christmas bars in different cities and this one was by far my favorite especially with the pin ball machines. I love the themed seating sections (Snoopy, Die Hard, Christmas Story, Harry Potter, Home Alone, etc) and each speciality cocktail is so festive. Maybe because I’ve been to Christmas bars that try to upsell you/charge entry admission, but $12 for a cocktail here doesn’t seem bad. For a Saturday night, early evening it wasn’t super busy but I’m sure it fills up fast! Service was fine but definitely come for the holiday vibe.

It’s a unique spot and they go ALL OUT decorating for holidays. It’s festive, friendly, fun and can be laid back. One end is seating, private ish booths, or a corner couch or huge corner table. Other end pinball machines. And every bartender has been nice polite and very helpful! I’m impressed with several there. I can’t say that everywhere easily. Cold water to access for drinking and the cutest little drinks. They are 1/2 size. Perfect for many unique flavors and sitting to chat. It’s not a go get drunk places. It’s great ever changing menu drinks. No good, pinball machines on one end and a cute outside sitting area. It is all downstairs below the street. So if you are disabled park in the back. There is a locked gate. Probably good to call the bar or message online to let them know exactly when you will be at the gate. Still a few stairs in the back. A wheelchair would be hard here. Canes or such in the back would work.

Great place to have a drink 🍸 and play some pinball. They did a wonderful ❤️ job of decorating for Christmas 🎄 🎅. Each booth had a different theme.

We love coming here! The games make it a fun experience and they go all out for decorating for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas! The drinks are good and the bartenders are friendly!10/10

Go check this place out. In the fuzzy "before times" that were the Pre-Covid era I was excited a new pinball joint that was coming to Northwest Arkansas. Without checking first as to if the place was open or not, I sauntered down the stairs and was warmly greeted by Bo, the owner of Pinpoint, who informed me they weren't open yet. They were still getting set up. I apologized and offered to come back later, but he invited me to come in and talk about pinball and what he was hoping would be the Pinpoint we know and love today could grow and become. Come to Pinpoint if you are an enthusiast, or not - there's skeeball after all, a pleasant back patio, not to mention some quality beverages, and some very nifty holiday vibes if you catch the right season. The machines are very well maintained and Bo has a love for the hobby and he rotates a generous inventory of classic and contemporary machines. Want to know more about the hobby? They will happily chat about it with you. Drinks are well mixed and like the pinball machines, offer a fresh mix of new tastes or classic vibes. I have a toddler now and don't make it out often, but when I do, Pinpoint is the first place on my mind.

Cool bar. They have a nice selection of pinball machines but part of me wishes there were more. It wasn’t extremely crowded, but still had to wait until certain machines became available for us to slide in. I couldn’t imagine on a super busy nice. The staff was all nice and friendly and the bar top was spacious for hanging out. I ordered a Pina Colada that was tasty. We will be back! This was fun.

Google
A really unique bar that offers 20 or so different themed pinball machines a couple of other arcade games. They have a patio with a hot dog stand as well (I did not try a hot dog though). Atmosphere is loud with dark lighting. Drinks are big higher priced than some other bars in the area but they are good. I recommend the pina colada. No cover fee is required.

Google
Came here to play some old schl pinball have a few drinks. Service was good, drinks were good. Cool atmosphere, its underground and has a speakeasy feel. I wish they had a broader game selection other than pinball and a select few others but the games they do have I love and def gave me and my group a nostalgic vibe. Will def be back!

Yelp
Place is cute for Christmas and drinks were good but I went for the first time last night and got two drinks, then woke up the next morning to a charge over $200 and I called today to ask what that was all about and talked to the owner and he immediately started to mansplain how banks work and when I tried to ask a question he rudely said "let me finish speaking" and then when it was my turn to ask the question he interrupted me and acted like I was so wrong for asking if the whole bill was refunded or just the $243 that was taken out separately and he was appalled that I even asked. You will NOT catch me going here again, I know he'll see this and I hope he does. *The owner replied and said that I kept asking about the overcharge, which is false. I was asking if they were going to refund the original amount when I paid for the two drinks (I knew they would for sure refund the other $243). The first person I called told me it would be back within the next couple of days (DUH I know how banks work) and the call was maybe one minute. I called back because I realized I should get the og money back as well since it is such an inconvenience. Having such a petty response really makes you look good (NOT) and he did not say sorry a single time. Don't bother responding to this, you'll just make it worse.

Yelp
I haven't been to a bar in years and this place did not disappoint! It's such a fun atmosphere with the pinball machines and kind bar staff. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail from a menu with 6 n/a options. Very tasty!

Yelp
Literally the worst service of any bar I've been to in NWA. Have been many times and receive the same extremely poor lack of service every single time I go. Asked someone behind the bar to close my tab. This worker walked away without speaking to me or acknowledging me in any way. After receiving such poor service literally every single time I've been in there, I finally decided to leave a review hoping that this will finally capture the owners' attention. They need a new manager or managers that actually have good customer service knowledge and skills. Will be telling everyone I know not to support this bar after how poorly I've been treated there on many occasions now. Hopefully something will change, but I doubt it after so many separate occasions of horrible service I have experienced.

Yelp
How fun! Grab a drink, I had the Cimma Down, and jump back into the 80's. We had a blast playing Skee Ball while surrounded by so many pinball machines. Cool hangout with great staff. Sampled the Espresso Whip and will be going back soon for a full serving.

Yelp
Walking downstairs to see a good number pinball machines is a cool experience. And playing old favorites like Theatre of Magic, Fish Tales, Monopoly, RoboCop, and Medieval Madness is simply flippin' great fun. Now, even though many alcoholic beverages are available from the bar, I seldom imbibe--so the availability of an ice-cold, glass-bottled, real-sugared Mexican Coke was a gratifying discovery. Overall, I had a good time. However, I would like to make three suggestions: 1. Make available a simple food item--such as hot dogs; 2. Assign all pinball machines the same price--preferably two tokens; 3. Install a modern jukebox so that more money can be made, while giving guests the opportunity to hear the music they want to hear. (Listening to the overhead rap or hip-hop--whatever it was--with its almost-incessant thumping, was definitely what lessened the fun most for me.)

Yelp
Amazing, ambience, fast friendly service. The people who run this place have spent a lot of time and energy, creating a welcoming and adventurous, feeling experience. I highly recommend

Yelp
first time here and brought my family from out of town. My boyfriend has been here plenty of times and recommended the place but tonight the bartender broke my boyfriend's ID after saying it was fake...it's not. Was very rude about the whole situation and was hesitant about giving the managers information to my family. Will not be back.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Pinpoint while waiting for a table at Hugo's and I don't know if I've ever been so pleasantly surprised! Head down those stairs and enter a Christmas oasis. We've gone back a few times to share the experience with others because we loved it so much. They decorated the entire bar with Christmas decorations and have an amazing holiday drink menu to go with it. It was so fun to play skeeball and pinball while sipping on a charred cinnamon old fashioned under the Christmas lights. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Such a fun time tonight at Pinpoint. I had been one time before and had ordered a margarita that was great. Tonight a few of us ordered an array of Christmas drink specials and all were delicious. It's decorated so cute for Christmas and the pinball machines make for a fun time. The bartenders were nice as well.

Yelp
Fantastic experience! Bo and his staff are amazing and work incredibly hard to bring together an entertaining and immersive atmosphere with top notch cocktails. Attention to detail is obvious from the impressive decor down to the diverse menu. Plus, they have pinball! So unique and so fun! If you're in Northwest Arkansas, you need to stop at Pinpoint.

Carl M.

Yelp
This place is great! Also Bo is awesome!! Excellent customer service. Friendly and helpful, games of course are fun. Table area you can reserve for a group. Can't go wrong here.

Yelp
I love this bar, everyone loves Halloween and thei decor is everything!!! The drinks are bomb cute and festive and the Beetle Juice drank is delicious and can feel it, 10/10!!

Yelp
Super expensive and rude management. $40 drinks and management will publicly shame you if they don't like your tip on the receipt paper it doesn't matter if you put money in their jars, they will hunt you down and publicly shame you. Honestly so rude, we will never be back. We looked on their Instagram post and apparently they do this all the time.

Yelp
Looks like a great place to bring my daughter That is from Dallas. Fun games! There is a place in Dallas called cider arcade They charge 10.00 person this allows you to play games unlimited Allowing you to spend your money on drinks Fun place but 10 bucks went quick on games I would of much rather have spent on a drink‍

Yelp
Best part about Pinpoint is that bartender Billy Shayne. What a strange and interesting guy! Spent all night listening to his stories, drinking his concoctions and playing Pinball! If ya come round these parts and he happens to be working, ask that Billy Shayne about Dungeons and Dragons. Personally I only like Dungeons or Dragons, but he made it seem like they belong together in the same Universe. I remember there being a dungeon and a dragon in the Hobbit movies, but I never watched the 3rd one so who knows what happened there. Anyways y'all, theres tons of great pinball games to play includin' Star Wars and Spacejam! Ya need tokens to play em' BUT sometimes drunk people leave extra games on the machines you can play for free! So just hit the start button and see if a ball comes out. I had 2 tokens and ended up playing 6 games because of that. What a deal! Much better than Chuck E Cheeses which I am no longer allowed in for reasons I am not legally allowed to talk about. Finally, the whole bar takes place underground and I'm pretty sure after 2am a Fight Club happens here. So bring your fisticuffs. Mason Brooks yelp elite

Yelp
As far as this pandemic goes...this bar is doing everything right. It's Halloween! They decorated this place up to the nines! Everything is adhered to CDC standards and you feel very safe. If you need a bar to go to and feel socially distanced, have an amazing time, and have rocking cocktails! Come here. p.S. and there's pinball!! :D

Yelp
Full disclosure--we love pinball bars. We have visited them in several major cities around the U.S.--Portland, Chicago, Denver Las Vegas, etc. We love to play pinball, and having a drink while you do it is even better. This bar is new and has lots of potential. The drink selection is good and you can get several beers and ciders on tap. Reasonably priced. The games are just okay. They have about 15 machines plus a vintage Skee ball. I found that most of the games were in good condition, though a few could use adjustments. What we didn't care for was the layout of the room. All the machines are crammed in one corner and you have to side shuffle to get past people playing on the machines, just to get to the outdoor patio area. Then there was a whole seating section that was completely empty. I hope as they get more games, they will place a few closer to the door and spread them out a bit. Skee ball was the most popular, and I hope they get more of those. I'd also recommend a Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man game--those are a favorite at bars like this. FYI--the entrance is an unlit red door on the street--really easy to miss!

Yelp
TOTAL hipster bar, and I'm no hipster, but I friggin love Pinpoint. Pinpoint is on Block Street in the old JR's for those of you who have lived in Fayetteville for a hot minute. You can enter streetside on Block and walk down into the basement where the bar is, or you can enter through the back parking lot and avoid the stairs. Pinpoint has a full bar, and you can pay for your drinks AND tokens with a card. You get two free tokens (one game) for each drink you order. Order at the bar, no table service. Pinpoint is really clean, as clean as I've seen in all of the manifestations of that space over the years. Still has the signature rock walls and concrete floors. You can sit at a bar or booth. There is a darts area, two skee ball games and maybe 15ish pinball games? Happy they've added a place to set your drinks between the machines as you play pinball. Games are 50 cents apiece. Depending on your skill level, you'll either blow through your money really quickly, or you can be entertained for a long time. Vibe was laid back. I was dressed down and felt comfortable. Very strong hipster vibe, but I saw several ages represented at the bar. Pinpoint is a great place to go after dinner on the square or block, and it's worth a trip on its own.

Yelp
Hands down the best pinball bar (maybe all around bar) I've ever been to. Large collection of games, most from around the 80's and 90's. All games are in great condition, and on weekends they have an on site technician to help troubleshoot if needed. I've been to other pinball bars and having this tech on site makes a huge difference! Cool basement location and great atmosphere. It's a great spot for a date night, any kind of party, work get together, or fun with friends. Drinks are always top notch and bartenders are super friendly! Overall, would recommend this bar to pinball lovers and bar lovers alike!

Yelp
The owner of this bar is an absolute piece of shit. He was rude to everyone at last call and treated everyone in his bar like garbage. There is a nice way to get people to finish drinking at the legally appointed time, and there is a way to do it that ensures that they will never come back to your establishment. This owner chose the latter. It's an extremely limited beer selection, the music is way too loud, and the entire staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Don't bother. There are so many great places in Fayetteville far more worth your time.
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
This place was nice. 2 dart boards, 2 skeet ball machines and about 15 pinball machines. We went from 5-6pm on a Saturday and it was not busy. The bartender was very friendly and made us some nice lime margaritas. Pinballs are 50 cents a play for 3 balls - so fair. I definitely plan to go back for some pinball and drinks.

Yelp
As an amateur pinball enthusiast and professional liquor enthusiast, I was thrilled to learn about this retro arcade/bar combo in the heart of Fayetteville's downtown area. For the most part, it did not disappoint: the dimly lit, modern atmosphere appealed to my aesthetic sensibilities, and the bar satisfied my urge to drink with effortless aplomb. So what gives with the four star rating? The selection of pinball tables was, frankly, a bit wanting, featuring just a few tables with good action and lots of bonus opportunities. The Star Wars table was the best by far, a fact every local must already know, since it was perpetually busy. Beyond that, Lethal Weapon, Elvira and Frankenstein provided middling entertainment.. but the rest elicited not but a yawn from this aging pinball wizard, and for that, I must remove a star.

Yelp
Incredible quality, customer service and the cleanest bathrooms at a bar you'll ever find. Lots of beer selections including beer on tap. You can have cash or card to buy tokens to play pinball or skeeball. They have recycle bins available for customers too! Great quiet patio out back too. Easily Fayetteville's best bar/entertainment area without the hassle or "Dickson crowd".

L K.

Yelp
This place is super rad. It has a great vibe with some industrial and vintage touches. The walls are lined with vintage pin ball machines that you can play for hours. We enjoyed the dart board. It's the perfect place to stop after a burger at Hugo's. Right off the square, you can't beat the location, and the owner is also really kind.

Carly B.

Yelp
Vintage pinball games and a good selection of beers, including several local and craft beers, and a pretty wicked Bloody Mary to boot. They also have a patio, good for when you need a break from all that intense pinball action.
