I had the chance to visit Pinto Art Museum back in 2022, and it was truly a memorable and worthwhile experience. As a student, I was able to avail of a discounted entrance fee, which made the visit even more budget-friendly. During that time, the pandemic was still ongoing, so the crowd was minimal—there were probably only around ten guests during my entire visit, which gave the whole place an unusually serene and intimate atmosphere.
The museum itself is impressively vast, with multiple galleries spread across a beautiful, open space filled with greenery and architectural charm. The artworks on display were diverse and visually captivating, each piece offering a unique perspective, from modern expressions to cultural reflections. While most of the museum felt calm and aesthetic, I have to admit that a few installations gave off an eerie or unsettling vibe. Perhaps it was the stillness of the place at the time, but it added an intriguing layer to the experience.
Despite that, the visit was incredibly enjoyable. The combination of art, nature, and peaceful surroundings made it a refreshing escape from city life. Pinto Art Museum is definitely a must-visit destination for art lovers, photography enthusiasts, or anyone simply looking for a tranquil and inspiring spot in Antipolo.
