I had the chance to visit Pinto Art Museum back in 2022, and it was truly a memorable and worthwhile experience. As a student, I was able to avail of a discounted entrance fee, which made the visit even more budget-friendly. During that time, the pandemic was still ongoing, so the crowd was minimal—there were probably only around ten guests during my entire visit, which gave the whole place an unusually serene and intimate atmosphere. The museum itself is impressively vast, with multiple galleries spread across a beautiful, open space filled with greenery and architectural charm. The artworks on display were diverse and visually captivating, each piece offering a unique perspective, from modern expressions to cultural reflections. While most of the museum felt calm and aesthetic, I have to admit that a few installations gave off an eerie or unsettling vibe. Perhaps it was the stillness of the place at the time, but it added an intriguing layer to the experience. Despite that, the visit was incredibly enjoyable. The combination of art, nature, and peaceful surroundings made it a refreshing escape from city life. Pinto Art Museum is definitely a must-visit destination for art lovers, photography enthusiasts, or anyone simply looking for a tranquil and inspiring spot in Antipolo.

Google
Really high costpa/super sulit because for an entrance fee of 300, you'll get to visit 7 main galleries, 4 upper galleries, a sprawling arboretum and plenty of cafe/snack bars with great ambience. The architecture of the buildings and landscaping are also well designed and there are cushioned seats everywhere where you can rest. This is one of the few museums in our country that I could describe as "world-class". Accessibility can be improved though. I've seen a few ramps but I don't think all area are wheelchair-accessible and most of the stairs don't have railings so it's not very kid-friendly and blind-friendly. Speaking of blind-friendly, there are no options for audio explanations.

Google
Very huge museum with a lot of different kinds of arts displayed. Some of the art is interactive, which is interesting. The map is a need, but we really don't know where we are going the entire time. Just remember your steps, as that'll help walking back to the exit. There's different fees, P150 for students and P300 for regular. Totally worth it as a student myself. There weren't a lot of people when we went and we had a blast taking pictures without getting photo bomb. They have cafes inside the place, where you can just chill or rest for a bit. Overall, it's a must go if you're in Antipolo.

I had an amazing experience at the Pinto Art Museum, and I can't recommend it enough! The museum offers a beautiful blend of contemporary and traditional Filipino art, and the exhibits are thoughtfully curated, showcasing the incredible talent of local artists. The peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by lush gardens, really enhances the experience. Each gallery is a visual journey, and I loved how the spaces flow naturally, inviting you to reflect and explore. If you're looking for a place that not only stimulates your creativity but also offers a moment of tranquility, Pinto Art Museum is definitely worth a visit! I highly encourage everyone to take the time to experience this wonderful cultural treasure.

Google
Pinto Art Museum is not only home to a rich collection of contemporary Filipino art, but also a visual treat for architecture lovers. The museum is set in a series of Mediterranean-style white villas with arched doorways, stone walls, and sunlit courtyards, all surrounded by lush gardens. The open, airy layout invites you to wander slowly and take in both the art and the space. When you need a rest, cozy cafés are scattered throughout the grounds — perfect for a quiet drink in a beautiful setting.

Google
The museum has an impressive collection and the exhibits are beautifully arranged, making it a pleasure to explore visually. However, the interior felt quite humid during my visit, which made spending long periods inside a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it’s worth seeing for the art and artifacts.

Google
So much new art, galleries and cafés since the last time I visited. Loved our visit today. For this time of year, I suggest going as early as possible to have more space for leisurely viewing of the art in comfortable weather. It was quite hot by lunchtime.

Google
I've been to several art museums in many countries, and I have to say that I was impressed here. A lot of the art selection is my vibe - surreal/dreamy. It was a nice surprise. The grounds are equally captivating, and it's fun to explore.

Yelp
A very beautiful museum that combines nature ant Art as a form of healing! Recently visited this museum with my friends and I was in awe because I felt so serene while visiting the museum and touring it grounds, you can see soft vintage beds and couches all scattered around its vicinity, we asked our tour guide why is that so and he said because they believe art and nature could both heal the soul. We also visited their cafe and the food was okay, salad was drenched in their dressing but overall I like the aesthetics of the cafe, felt I was in Greece.

Yelp
When you need a break from the city for a day, this is the place to go! Although it's really not far from Makati, the drive there can take long because of the traffic. But once you get there, all is forgotten. I love going there to unwind surrounded by the beautiful lush garden and strolling around the estate visiting the different art galleries. Take a book, grab an enjoyable lunch there while reading in a peaceful environment, then walk around to discover the beautiful venue. It's really an amazing place! The only negative point for me is that there is way too many people that don't seem to go there for the art but only to take pictures of themselves without even paying attention to the art. Taking photos of themselves in the outdoor area is fine, but would be nice to keep the different galleries as a place where people can really enjoy the art which is harder to do with all the people blocking the art pieces while taking selfies...

Yelp
It's hard to describe how important this place is to me. When I lived in Manila, I visited this museum about once every 2 months. I regret not having gone more often. When my best friend's parents took a cruise through Asia and stopped in Manila for the day, I had to take them there. They almost missed getting back on their ship at the end of the day because of traffic. Six years later, they still talk about the Pinto. They've forgotten that they spent 2 hours at the museum and 4 hours getting there and back. When I needed time to think, I'd spend the day there. When colleagues visited from around the world, I took them there. When people ask me what to do during their visit to Manila, I tell them to go there. It's like the Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens of the Philippines: nature, architecture, and art combined with some kind of messy flare that just works. If you're in Manila for a short time and are able to spare a day, just go there. It's a pain to get to; it's a pain to get back. But it's well worth it. Bring yourself. Bring a book. Leave your phone behind (or turn it off when you get there). Arrive at 9. Leave at 6. You won't regret it.

Yelp
This museum is owned by a former Doctor who has built this wonderful place to share his art collection. It's such a beautiful place. I've never seen anything like it before! Everything about this place is beautiful: the art, the buildings, the decor, the plants, etc. It is a very "instagram-able" worthy place. I can see why people come here to do engagement photo shoots and why they come dressed up as they model around the property. The buildings are white, Spanish style architecture that I would want to build a house like! It is absolutely beautiful. I wish this place was my own personal house. It's surrounded by such beautiful landscape which includes blooming bougainvilleas! They have cafe on site called Cafe Rizal, which is delicious. We went with the pizza and a couple of pasta dishes. Though they do have some Filipino options on the menu as well! The carbonara dish was tasty, and of course, a bit on the heavy side but that's expected with any creamy pasta dish. I highly recommend visiting this place. Anticipate spending at least 2 hours here. If you have any big bags, you will need to check it in front. There's a guard who watches all of your stuff and gives you a claim ticket.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time with my daughters. The cafe crew were all hospitable & efficient. Art works were remarkable. Truly highlights the Filipino culture, artistic talent & ingenuity!

Yelp
This gallery is an absolute gem. The Pinto showcases some of the Philippines best artists. All paintings and sculptures are extremely emotional and thought provoking. This sprawling gallery is beautiful, has a bar and is off the beaten path.

Yelp
It's worth the drive. Lots of walking and Instagram worthy opportunities. We ended up having to stay over 3 hours easily. Plenty of areas to take a break. They do have cafe that serves full dining food. Must admit it is not for kids, they will be bored.

Yelp
This place has a feel akin to being in someone's back yard, lots of white walled surroundings with art pieces ranging from local art to greek mythology, each piece very beautifully displayed. There are lots of flowers as well, including a bit of wildlife.

Yelp
Amazingly aesthetic museum. The location and architecture, in and of themselves, extremely beautiful with a strong sense of zen. The art collection is an ecclectic set of modern filipino art. There is sure to be something to please you, to shock you, to leave you pensive. Overall, an amazing gem an hour away from busy Manila.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time here! They added bunch of stuff this year. My tips is to go there on a weekend for you to have a better pic Lesser crowd the better.

Yelp
Taking your time off exploring restaurants may mean taking some well-deserved time to explore art galleries. Pinto Art Museum should be on top of your must-visit museums list. The gallery was running an exhibit on unrequited love and tragic love. All artworks were beautiful, especially the sculptures found in the first hall. The museum can also be a venue for photoshoots, as the place is well-kept. Very relaxing, too! You will love the place because the gallery is located in a very quiet residential area in Antipolo, a bit far from the plaza. To get here from Antipolo city square, you must ride a tricycle. Practically, most trike drivers, if not all, know where Pinto Art Museum is, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Yelp
If there's one place that I can go back to over and over again, it would be the Pinto Art Museum. I love how it's far from the busy city, but close enough to go to on a whim. I love the whole idea of the place. It allows you to freely explore the museum, without actually feeling like you're in a typical museum --- everything is open, there's lots of nature around you and you can go on your own pace. The walk to and from the different locations is actually a plus since you get to fully appreciate the entire place that way. And everything really was breathtaking... not just the art pieces, but the landscape and the architecture as well. My husband and I loved it so much that we had our pre-nup shoot here. :) I have and continue to recommend locals and visitors alike to visit this place at least once. It's truly worth it!

Yelp
With the increasing popularity of photo sharing social media applications like Instagram, museums have become one of the trendiest places to go to. From whitewashed buildings to artsy paintings to bizzare, yet attractive figurines, Pinto Art Museum has become a mecca for hipsters everywhere. My friend, who is a self-proclaimed iPhonographer (someone who takes really good pictures using an iPhone), forced me to go with him in one of his many adventures. I am not really the type of person who enjoys museums; I get bored easily just by staring at things for a very long time due to my short attention span. But, Pinto Art Museum definitely captured my attention. Unlike most museums, you can touch and take pictures with the art works featured there. If you're with your special someone, you can even pose in one of the balconies and just pretend that you're a star in a cheesy romantic movie. Overall, it was a great experience. If given the opportunity to come back to this place, I definitely would! It would even be better if I have my own special someone to bring with me...

Yelp
When my philosophy class went here as part of our field trip, our collective breath was taken away as we entered the museum's first gallery and were greeted by a huge mural taking up most of the wall. That set the tone for our entire stay. What makes Pinto Art Museum unique is most probably its layout. The museum buildings are staggered, built to harmonize with the hillside, which makes for some gorgeous landscaping. Some of the white washed buildings even have sculptures built on them. We went during rainy season, so everything was lush and green. Plenty of great photo opportunities here! Even if your phone camera is crappy (like mine) it's impossible to take a bad photo of your surroundings. I award it The Most Photogenic Place In The Metro. The amount of artwork collected here is mind-blowingly MASSIVE, taking up several galleries and buildings. I like how everything is displayed with as much natural light as possible, instead of in traditional museums where lighting is harsh and monitored. And of course, the quality of all the art is superb. Ranging from traditional oil-on-canvas to experimental art and mixed media sculptures to full room installations, there's always something great to see around the next corner. I loved it here! One morning was definitely not enough for me to bask in the full glory of the art displayed. I'm planning on returning soon (hopefully with a date) (asa pa) to get my fill of fresh air and maybe absorb some of the creative juices that went into putting together this wonderful museum.

Yelp
I love going out for mini day trips to check out nearby attractions. They're little breaks from the busy city to catch a breather from all the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for somewhere to go for the day try Pinto Art Gallery in Antipolo, it feels like your miles away from Manila! This house turned art gallery is a gem of a find. As you enter and walk through their white washed walls, getting lost is the goal. I spent hours wandering and in wonder of all the art work, the little corners, the coffee shop, and the gardens. You'll really lose track of time here. They've got cute (but slightly eerie) day beds around the area so you can take your time to take everything in. My favorite art piece is this dark room that was made into a bamboo garden. It really transports you to a completely different place, it was super fascinating! It's also good to note that all the works here are made by Filipinos. I really recommend you make the quick drive up to Antipolo to check this place out, you'll feel really refreshed and cultured after!

Yelp
This place is just a few minutes from my place and it's such a shame that I only got to visit it just recently (special thanks to the non-working holiday). For a small amount of Php 180, I got to enjoy chambers and chambers of astounding art - from religious iconography to grotesque, abstract and satirical paintings and sculptures, the place has a lot to offer especially for art enthusiasts. This place is like a sprawling maze with lots of small stairs, passageways and of course, doors (hence the name). It even gives a bit of a Santorini vibe because of the color scheme and the structure of the galleries. The museum doesn't just feature man made art but God's masterpieces as well. In between galleries are small park-like gardens where you can just rest and talk after going around. The place is situated atop the highlands of Antipolo so you're sure to see the overlooking view of Marikina, Ortigas and Laguna de Bay. They even have several restaurants and cafes where you can grab a quick bite or just have drinks and coffee while waiting for the magnificent sunset view.

Yelp
For all the art lovers out there, this place is definitely for you. From indegenious arts, sculptures, abstract and 5 galleries of art where you can actually get lost. Though their entrance increased, we still did enjoyed capturing pictures. There are white beds everywhere too, which I think is part of their designs. There is a pool, and a few animals on their cages.

Yelp
Not to toot my own horn, but I've been to places like LACMA and the Getty's, to the Louvre and Uffizi. Maybe I'm comparing apples and oranges, but I found the Pinto museum to be as equally interesting. In my honest opinion, this humble place kept me engaged and entertained just as much as all the big tourist trap museums (perhaps more so) I didn't find any world famous works here. But I found more relevant things with my life. It's not crazy crowded, which is perfect for me. I'd definitely come back here when I take another vacation to the islands. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
One of my lifelong dreams is getting to see the famous Santorini sunset. Though Manila is also famous for its magnificent sunsets, I would just love to see how the sun bids goodbye in the small Grecian island. Though my wish hasn't been granted still, I was given a chance to experience 'Santorini' in Manila, minus the water. This little museum nestled in the inner area of the Antipolo area, is a treat for the eyes. With its all-white motif and wooden decors that goes perfectly with all the colorful art exhibited in the area, this place is an artist's haven! Also, since it's outside the city (about an hour away), you can easily feel the relaxing vibe of the place, with some of the areas overlook Metro Manila. They also have a café inside which I haven't tried, but, according to reviews are just fantastic. A definite must-try!

Yelp
When your inner "cultured" (read: pretentious) college kid calls out to you, you just have to respond by going to all the possible artisanal cafés and artsy museums you can. Having already been to National Museum and Ayala Museum (probably the most well-known museums in our country) I was at a loss for museum options...until around early April, when inspiration struck me via my Instagram feed. Unlike most museums, Pinto Art Museum is open air, and you're free to touch the artwork. Aside from the very modern paintings and sculptures, the layout of the actual museum itself is beautiful too, with its architecture and white washed walls. It seems like every piece of artwork is picture perfect and worthy of an Instagram post. It's quiet too, so there won't be any people to disturb your #cultured day out unless there's an unruly group around. I'm planning to go back and do an informal photoshoot with friends!

Angel J.

Yelp
Went here with my cousins and it looks a lot bigger on the inside! It's definitely a great place to visit to feed your mind. Also, this is where you can get lots of your instaworthy photos! What's great about it is after you're done with your photoshoot, there's a great cafe with lots of food choices for you to eat at

Yelp
Pinto Art Museum is a nice quick art-filled escape from the city. If you're tired of the city and want a quick escape with some art surrounding you, Pinto Art Museum might just be the place you should go to. For those that haven't been here, it's a nice place to see some of the local art scene and be surrounded by open and curated spaces. The art here is more on the modern side and is quite eye catching and will pique your interest. Aside from the art filled rooms and hallways, they have gardens for those that just want to relax and enjoy the quiet away from the city. They have a nice café inside which can be an intimate spot for couples to have a merienda and coffee whilst escaping the city. Pinto Art Museum is a nice date place to go to for couples to see something new. The place is quiet and has a lot of nice art works by various local artists. It's a place that I think everyone should visit at least once.

Yelp
Pinto Art Gallery was a great place for a day trip because it was only about 40 minutes away from Katipunan. It was pretty easy getting here, especially with the help of Waze. The gallery is inside a gated village and you can park your car on the street of the gallery. Entrance fee was Php 150 (cheaper for seniors and students). When we went here it had just rained so the grass areas were a little muddy so be sure to check the weather forecast before going. Other than that, it was a really pleasant experience. There were a lot of interesting art pieces, different rooms, levels, and places to explore. There were also a lot of benches with cushions and sofas around the entire gallery where you could just relax, sit down, and talk with your companions. I love that there were gardens everywhere and that art installations were incorporated into these as well. The art gallery is not airconditioned so wear something cool and breezy. Lastly, don't forget to bring your camera!

Yelp
This by far, is the BEST museum I've ever been to! I've gone to a number in and out of the country but this is definitely number one in my list. I would go here a lot before it got mainstream and I'm glad I was able to enjoy it before it got a bit crowded. Every time I go here, I fee like I'm in Greece. Being at the over looking area at the top of one of the buildings, you would see a wonderful view. You would also see the white structures below which are the other galleries of the compound and you'd think you're in Santorini. It's just beautiful! The art collection here is also impressive. There are different types from paintings, sketches, and sculptures, the Pinto Art Gallery has it. Most of the art styles they have here are even the ones that I enjoy the most. The architecture in this place is just amazing. It's a very serene and relaxing atmosphere and the outdoor area contributes to the feeling. The well-maintained garden combined with the sculptures or installations transports you to a different world. This is just one of my favorite places! I love going here to think and observe the different art pieces. I would never get tried of going here.

Yelp
Museums are supposed to be boring. Most museums are just giant boxes with old stuff inside, maybe old stuff in smaller boxes. Presentation is hardly a concern to most curators, believing that the items themselves should be enough to pique one's interest. Unfortunately that's not always the case, and museums have to take that one extra step to separate themselves from pop-up textbooks. Of all the ones near Metro Manila, the Pinto Museum is most complete package. The building itself is just as remarkable as the interior, and it recalls a modern Adobe home washed in white paint. The exhibits flow into each other well, and there are both modern and traditional arts on display. The way they work in conjunction with the space they occupy is the real spectacle, however, and it's difficult to imagine the museum in any other location. There's even a cafe operated by Bizu to complete the experience.

Maggie N.

Yelp
You'll want to go to Pinto to get your own photoshoot as people all over the internet have, lol, but take a minute to really actually admire the pieces they have here. Perhaps what draws people more and more to this museum is how different the art is. These aren't your ordinary wall-mounted still-lifes; they're some of the best contemporary art pieces in Manila all housed in an equally gorgeous place that merits its own appreciation. It's a wide, expansive space, both indoors and outdoors, that gives much room for visitors to explore and really get into the art. A lot of it is very interactive in the sense that the pieces almost invite you to "join" them in cool perspective shots or actually be part of the piece to complete it (are you one of "the kids [my] parents warned [me] about?" Hahaha). It's a fun, unique experience spending a full morning or afternoon here! You can lose yourself in the setting, while enjoying a leisurely, relaxed stroll through the gardens and galleries set upon an idyllic upper Antipolo backdrop.
