This was a really neat museum with a lot of old buildings to walk through. We were there for 4 hours and still had to hustle at the end to see it all. The kids loved learning to make pegs. This would be interesting for all ages.

My husband, son and I took a little day trip from the Twin Cities to visit this Pioneer Village. Let me say, $10 each for admission is completely worth it! This is probably the best of these villages I have ever seen, especially with the extensive outfitting of the buildings inside with all of the furnishings and antique tools, etc. and the extra buildings full of displays just kept coming! I was in heaven! Absolutely so beautifully preserved and put together for future-generation understanding and enjoyment!

We really enjoyed our trip to the pioneer village museum. The grounds are a beautiful and well kept. The buildings are in fine shape and well cared for and filled with all the period items that the building would have had in it. As an example, the dentist building was set up just like a dentist office would look with all of the vintage acouturements that would go with it. They have a vintage church and graveyard. An old one room schoolhouse, the dentist office, vintage jail building, a working blacksmith building and Carpenter shop. The list goes on! Every staff member and volunteer that I came across were kind and willing to answer any questions that I had. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to step back in time and re-examine the past. We enjoyed our trip very much and look forward to returning someday soon.

Great place for everyone. Friendly staff, quaint saloon with great root beer. Lots to see and interact with. Only open one to five, but worth the drive.

What an amazing experience. We traveled through time this Christmas Holiday with all the attractions and horse drawn carriage.
