Pioneer's Grill

The restaurant at the new location at Perry's Bridge is very tatty - torn chair at the entrance. Seafood variety has become very limited compared to previous years. Wanted a Sole but was informed the dish is no longer on the menu so went elsewhere. The entrance sign leads to a dead end (tree). Although staff member was very friendly and helpful in trying to assist it doesn't cover for the first impressions. Old venue was brilliant and enjoyed may a good meal there. Clearly attention to detail is missing

Our waitress was Faith. She was superstar last night. We celebrated ou 51st wedding anniversary with damily members and visited the restaurant on the 2nd of September. The food was superb and the service out of this world. My second experience there and I will be back again.

What an awesome experience. From the food to the service, they can truly claim to be second to none. Thank you all for a wonderfull evening. Special thanks to Faith, you rock girl.

My wife and I went for lunch on the Sunday before new year and it was awesome, we both had the fillet and it was done to our liking, we enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to come back again on the 31st for an early dinner with the kids. Uwe booked the table for us next to where there was a working fan (as he suggested). When we arrived we were told that a larger booking had been made - where we were going to sit, and they take priority. So we left and went to the restaurant across the way from them. No one arrived at the table we booked. SO Uwe, if someone makes a booking - stick to it. We will not be back, and that is the reason for 1 star, we were all looking forward to meat that evening.

Steak (medium fillet) was really good for the price. The second flavor option, which was salt, pepper, and a marinade, added a nice flavor to it. The side salad was pretty normal, and the brownie sundae was as expected but looked nice. Solid restaurant with friendly staff.

I don't know where to begin the food was absolutely Devine. I was there with my family. I tasted everything that they ordered it was superb. I highly recommend the chicken livers, Texas wings and the prawns. The chicken burgers were great too. If you're around hazyview this place is a must visit

We had a delightful experience once again. Having visited Pioneer's on a few occasions now, I think it is safe to say they constantly deliver great service and very good food. I enjoyed the buffalo mozarella and my husband his chicken livers for starters. Our mains were steaks and vegetables, also very tasty and the steaks were grilled to perfection. Thank you.

It's a really good restaurant at a convenient location at Hazyview. The steaks here like eye ribs or cheese steak are delicious, tender and juicy. The fried brie cheese as a starter is also nice. Price is fair. I and my companions had a wonderful time here. :)
