Extremely disappointment with the service I received during my stay at this hotel. While the food was the only positive aspect of my visit, the overall experience was appalling, and the unprofessionalism of reception and staff left me speechless.
Upon arrival, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for my room, which in itself was frustrating, but the real issue was the room I was given. Despite my reservation for a double bed with a city view, I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel with twin beds pushed together. And no effort was made to accommodate the mistake.
The service continued to degrade from there. Both in-room phones were not working, and I had to go down to the front desk to request assistance. When no one arrived after 30 minutes, I was forced to call again through phone, only to be given the restaurant's number to place my own order. To be clear, it should never take so much effort just to place a simple room service order, and the entire process was a hassle I shouldn’t have had to deal with.
But what truly angered me was the appalling behavior of the receptionist. Not once did they apologize for the delays. Not once did they acknowledge the inconvenience or show any basic level of courtesy. I was repeatedly asked to wait without any explanation, as though it was perfectly normal to make guests sit in frustration without even a simple “sorry for the delay.” It’s honestly shocking that someone so blatantly unprofessional was allowed to interact with guests in a customer-facing role. They are absolutely unfit for the position and should not be representing such an establishment.
The lack of apology, empathy, or basic professionalism is beyond disappointing. It reflects a severe lapse in customer service and is completely unacceptable. I expect far better from a hotel that claims to offer a high standard of service.
I strongly urge the hotel authorities to reconsider the placement of such unqualified staff in positions where they are supposed to manage guest relations. It’s clear they lack the basic skills necessary to perform their job, and their behavior has tarnished the reputation of the hotel.
