Excellent dinner at Piparoza! Add this gem to your list of restaurants in Évora. We ate dinner outside. Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared perfectly. The staff were very knowledge, helpful and friendly.

Had a delicious chees and olive board with a very nice fatty Vihno Verde (no bubbles). The duck with jam was very nice and the tuna tartare was very generously portioned and very delicous. Super nice staff, definitely recommend.

Wonderful mid-sized restaurant in the center of old Évora. Relaxed, great service, diverse menu and excellent food. Interesting interior but not overly traditional. Try the tempuras and the Stuffed Eggplant! Great place; we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Phenomenal beef and wine, heaping portion of potato skins to start, on the most picturesque dining street in Portugal. While Lisbon was nothing but tourist traps that soured the experience, Piparoza was thankfully redemptive.

Excellent place for dinner in the historic part of Evora (but really everything is historic). Food was amazing and fresh, recommended wine on spot, and atmosphere was excellent.

A Hidden Gem! I recently visited Piparoza Boutique Bar, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cozy, elegant atmosphere sets the perfect tone for enjoying delicious food—every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. A special thanks to the gentleman who served us, his professionalism and welcoming nature made the evening even better. And the Gin and Tonic? Hands down the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend Piparoza for a casual or intimate dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Book early to avoid disappointment. We had all the pork they could offer and were not disappointed. Oh and we couldn't get enough of the melted cheese. As for the wine, order a glass of tinto (red) and let them choose the best of what the region has to offer.

I will not recommend this place at all. Ordered a duck breast and a Portuguese veal. A good surgeon would have been able to revive both. There was no question asked about how should the veal be cooked. Ordered two large 300 ml beers - menu had the option for 200 ml for 1.8 euro and 300ml for 2 euros. When I got the bill I was charged 4 euros because I got the 550 ml???!!! The glass could have not hold 550 ml and when I asked for a bottle of water to prove it I was told they don’t have one. Apparently the new menus were still at the printing company and the “boss” of the place told the employees that the glasses hold 550 ml. I have not seen grumpier servers in my life. Apparently one server was ticketed for parking in the wrong place and decided to take it on the customers - bad for the business. We were brought mineral water and bread even though we did not asked for them. I could go on, and on about this “boutique” bar but I spent enough time rating it at 1 star - it deserves 0 stars. Do not waste your money at this place.
