Excellent dinner at Piparoza! Add this gem to your list of restaurants in Évora. We ate dinner outside. Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared perfectly. The staff were very knowledge, helpful and friendly.

It was a place with available seating outside —the food is ok not astonishingly great . We ordered lamb chops and grilled cheese . The service was slow perhaps because it’s quite full inside

Had a delicious chees and olive board with a very nice fatty Vihno Verde (no bubbles). The duck with jam was very nice and the tuna tartare was very generously portioned and very delicous. Super nice staff, definitely recommend.

We wanted a quick lunch. This place wasn't recommended, it had seating free. Then the waiting started... The waitresses didn't have the right priorities. Cleaning and setting tables isn't first thing when you have guests waiting. Finally, a waitress took our order. The ordered dishes were nice but this proves that creating the right ambiance for your guests makes a meal so much more enjoyable. We ordered coffee and waited. No coffee came, so we asked for the bill, payed and left.

Unfortunately, the food was really poor. I was starving and still walked away unsatisfied, after feeding most of the steak to the dog. When you advertise aged steak, confirm three times that it’s good and aged, but then serve a frozen, reconstituted one, that’s misleading. The vegetables were watery and overcooked, and the risotto was just rice with sauce, no flavour or texture. Feels more like a late-night bar serving food for people who’ve had a few drinks rather than a proper restaurant. Paid €83 for two mains, bread and cheese, one starter, and two drinks (beer and house wine). Not worth it for the quality.

Wonderful mid-sized restaurant in the center of old Évora. Relaxed, great service, diverse menu and excellent food. Interesting interior but not overly traditional. Try the tempuras and the Stuffed Eggplant! Great place; we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent place for dinner in the historic part of Evora (but really everything is historic). Food was amazing and fresh, recommended wine on spot, and atmosphere was excellent.

We waited for the restaurant to ask if we could have a drink on the terrace. Some lady who worked there walked by like 4 times, not even acknowledging or smiling at us. Very rude. Then a second lady walked by us and she did the same thing… we went to another restaurant where they were very welcoming. Glad we didnt sat here, because if i read the reviews, the food is as bad as the service and the vibe.
