This is a great view of the Canyon if you are passing through and don't have much time. These pics are pretty unique because of the smoke from the North Rim Fire. They show details of side canyons that you normally miss because it all blends together. The third picture is "tribute" to the "classy" people who think it's cool to leave their names everywhere they go. Not cool.

I was a little taken back by the cost to get in to see the Grand Canyon. $35 I felt was a little steep to be able to go in for pictures and views. They hand you a map which midas well have been in French cuz we had no clue how to read it. We just followed everyone else and pulled over to view and take pictures.

I really recommend heading to this spot to see the beauty of this place. We literally stumbled upon it as we drove past and spent a good 2 hours at the park it was truly mind blowing and one of my most favourite memories I have.

Visited ALL the grand Canyon. My first time ever being there, along with my girlfriend. We have memories for a lifetime. Will I ever go back you dadgum right I'll go back. As a matter of fact, we are planning on camping out there for a few days just to experience the natural beauty of the outside. We saw deer and elk. That was an experience by itself. I highly recommend everyone go here once in a lifetime so you can get a close-up for yourselves

Beautiful scenic viewpoint of the Grand Canyon with a pull off from one of the main roads. Views are gorgeous and breathtaking.

Be sure to call the park and make sure the entrance you want to enter is open. There are on and off seasons. Prices range from 35-50$ per vehicle 7 day pass. Worth it to spend a full day and clear night out in the park. It gets cold and muddy during the winter months. Great trails. Only one restroom at the visitors center, not very clean due to rollback on NP funding and staff cuts.

This was our first stop and was maybe my favorite. The first time you see the canyon is a special moment. Even more so when you see the wide eyes of a 10 year old as his jaw drops in awe. He almost couldn't contain his excitement. With this being our first stop we were 1 of maybe a dozen people at this location which also made it special. I would recommend this as your first view of the canyon as it gives you good one. It also can be a little less trafficed that some of the other locations. Overall you can never replace the first time seeing the canyon or the moment that all expectations of a 10 year old are blown out of the water.

Absolutely mind blowingly breathtaking. I was told about this point by a friend who told me it was sort of word of mouth. There were no signs. It was not heavily traveled, and it was very peaceful. The hike is easy, and the views INSANE. 10/10
