Pippin Vintage Jewelry, the vintage jewelry store on 17th Street in Midtown, has been on the list for a long time and is a well known name in vintage stores. I went there a while ago, and it took me a long time to get out of there, so it's really a must-stop store for vintage jewelry lovers!
The store is quite big, with a lot of jewelry on display and more hidden in the chest of drawers. There are all kinds of jewelry, necklaces, earrings, rings, brooches, ties, clips, bags, and vintage fabrics.
The jewelry is made of a variety of materials, gold, silver, gemstones and pearls can be found here. There are both big and unknown brands, and prices are set according to material, brand, quality and age. The jewelry in the counter ranges from a few hundred to thousands, and the ones placed outside are mostly in the tens of dollars.
Each piece of jewelry on display carries a small tag marked with the year material and price, and the chest of drawers is sorted according to the type and color of the jewelry at a glance.
The 3 clerks were happy to answer questions, but for the most part did not bother customers to do their own shopping. I was afraid of the clerk who would be chasing after me, but here there was no hassle and I could open each drawer in peace to make my selection
