This is the best coffee in town if you like espresso drinks, but the drip coffee is also great. Was here with a large group for the weekend, we all have different coffee preferences and tried other spots too and this place came out on top. They use Counter Culture coffee and a La Marzocco espresso machine. It doesn’t hurt that the place is also super cute and they have a great assortment of vintage records. The croissants are worth it, but the breakfast sandwiches take way too long.

We receive this recommendation as a place to visit when coming to Greenport and I must say it’s a MUST. We came twice during our trip. It’s a cute upscale bakery/eatery. The vibes are immaculate. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I got the chai tea latte, lemon poppyseed scone, and the avocado toast with bacon. OMG. Everything is a 10/10. The chai is perfect. Not too sweet but still very spiced forward. The scone was not too dry and all the right amount of sweetness. The avocado toast is to die for. The avocado is perfectly ripped, the jammy egg has me questioning my egg making skills, and the chili crisp adds a nice kick without it being overpowering. The bacon I added add an extra layer of protein which was perfectly cooked. My friends got a ham and cheese croissant which I tasted and wished I got one to go. Overall, this is an outstanding place for bites that are filling and delicious. I can’t wait to try their lunch goodies!!

The Staff has this young blond girl who is always so sweet even when there are insufferable hordes of tourists making getting a coffee as complicated as it could possibly be shes always very nice and professional. I had the Quiche / bacon egg/ & Their cold drip coffee and it was all fantastic i cant even pick what was my favorite. Im a local but had never heard of the place till now a shame they dont get enough credit its damb good. Thank you pips team!

The absolute best coffee, pastries, and breakfast/lunch sandwiches! We grabbed a bec on a milk bun and the eggs were so fluffy and buttery 😍 also a turkey & cheddar with the perfect amount of spice from the pickles. Coffee was strong and so tasty. The pastries were super flaky and delicious. Everything was fresh and lovingly prepared! 10/10 would eat again!

While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced. But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special. The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!

We were visiting 4th of July weekend and popped into this cafe while we waited to check into our hotel. I was surprised to see that it is fairly new. The first day I got a prosciutto egg sandwich that was so delicious it had me wanting to come back. Their coffee is also really nice and strong. We came back a couple days later and got the bacon egg and cheese and a blueberry croissant which hit the spot again. The staff does seem to be still figuring out its operations but I’m sure with time, this place will be running smoothly

I am visiting the North Fork for the Thanksgiving holidays and stumbled upon Pip’s Cafe by chance while exploring Greenport. I had the yummiest bowl of classic chicken soup - tender chunks of chicken, hearty vegetables, and a flavorful, soul-warming broth that tasted just like home. Then, I shared the savory danish with my friend, and it was extraordinary - a flaky, buttery pastry packed with savory Parmesan, fresh mint, and just the right kick of heat from Calabrian chile. I tend to prefer savory over sweet, and this hit all the right notes. The staff was so friendly, and the place had such a soulful vibe. I’ll definitely be back when in Greenport.

Pip’s is a bright, elegantly designed café with a modern, Instagram-worthy vibe. The coffee is solid. We came for the pastries which are highly reviewed here and all look incredible. We opted for the Cinnabon. Well… it looked like a dream but tasted like it had been napping a little too long—definitely more “meh” than “mmm.” Also, I would like to mention the display shelves. Not something I would normally spot light but they are very sleek, stylish, and clearly curated by someone with an eye for design—and yet all they’re showcasing is… popcorn? Bold move. Not sure if it’s irony or a marketing experiment? I guess this is what’s meant in the ‘provisions’ part of the establishments name.

Yelp
So glad we found this spot during our stay in Greenport! It's a cute cafe offering light fare that you can enjoy inside or take to go. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I had an iced chai tea and a ham & cheese croissant. The chai tea was perfect- definitely one of the best I've had. It had just the right amount of sweetness and wasn't overly syrupy like some can be. The croissant was delicious- flaky, flavorful, and the everything bagel seasoning on top was a nice touch. I'm a big croissant fan, and it was great to switch things up with a savory option. Definitely a must try if you're in Greenport!

Yelp
A Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish I rarely leave harsh reviews, but my recent visit to this restaurant left me baffled, disappointed, and frankly, a little concerned for anyone considering dining there. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The decor, dominated by AI-generated paintings, had all the warmth and personality of a stock photo website. It felt like the owners were trying to appear trendy without understanding what makes a space actually inviting. Unfortunately, the food was somehow even more soulless. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that had to be sent back--something I've never done before. Instead of cheese, it was stuffed with what tasted like 90% spicy mayo and what I can only describe as compost leftovers. It was greasy, soggy, and inedible. Whoever approved that item for the menu clearly doesn't understand the basics of comfort food, or food in general. We also tried the fried chicken and the grilled chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was dry, barely seasoned, and had a strange aftertaste, as if it had been cooked in old oil. The grilled chicken sandwich wasn't much better--bland, rubbery, and slapped together with little care. It's one thing for food to miss the mark, but this felt like they weren't even trying. Service didn't help matters. We waited 40 minutes for our chicken, and when it finally arrived, they forgot part of our order. No apologies, no urgency to fix the mistake, just an indifferent shrug. The staff didn't seem overwhelmed--just checked out. It's hard to enjoy any meal when the people serving it act like they don't want to be there either. Honestly, I'd be surprised if this place is still in business a year from now. Between the gimmicky decor, subpar food, and lackluster service, there's nothing worth coming back for. With so many great restaurants out there, this one just doesn't cut it. Save your time, money, and appetite for somewhere else.

Yelp
We sent the grilled cheese back because it was terrible. the service wasn't bad, it took a while for our food. And the fried chicken was fine. The atmosphere felt like a millennial frat house, just tons of AI art.

Yelp
Pip's was a great choice for coffee and a light breakfast, their pastries were delicious and unique. The lemon poppy scone was very tasty, with a perfect texture -- firm crust and a flaky interior. The fruit croissant was fun visually, and the fruit filling was tangy and added to the overall flavor. Not the crispiest croissant I've ever had, but still a fun treat. Bonus points for this place serving unique kitchen items, like olive oil and hot sauce. They take the "provisions" part of their name quite seriously! They have indoor seating and a small patio with five or six tables out front. Nice for something quick and light before walking around the rest of Greenport Village!

Yelp
Cute café addition to the quaint town of Greenport serving cappuccinos, lattes, teas, chai, varieties of freshly baked goods, salads, quiche and sandwiches. They also have a good selection of provisions to purchase for your picnic or yacht sailing adventures. Both indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Cute small sandwich and coffee shop. Great to enjoy there or take to go. Drinks: no alcohol just coffees, juices, and tea Food: the food is incredible, so good. We each got a sandwich and they were insane. My husband got a turkey and pickle she I got the chicken and arugula. Definitely recommend. The foccassia is a non negotiable, definitely get. I need to come back and try the cinnamon rolls. There is an assortment for everyone; salads, sides, soups, pastries, sandwiches, and baked goods. Service: super friendly and efficient. Really quick and great for a in and out on the go. Indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a bunch of small tinned fish, oils, and other random goods you can buy.

Yelp
Nice cozy coffee spot. Not much of a coffee drinker but the food was great. The breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll are must tries. The blueberry muffins are also delicious. Will be the place to go next time.

Yelp
The sandwiches and coffee are amazing! I had the best tuna & bluefish on rye in my life! It is a beautiful spot and super clean. My husband loved the coffee. They made a mistake on my sandwich and fixed it before serving it to me. I love that they caught it and just fixed it! Service was also pretty quick! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I am so excited about the opening of Pip's! The ambiance is inviting, all the staff are super helpful--shout out to my favorite barista Alina! The drinks are well-priced and made with precision. I recommend the lemon poppy scone!
