An experience you must have when going to Mexico city. It's about a 1h30 road trip. The place is amazing, full of history and art. I recommend you to have a guide since there's a lot of interesting things to learn. You should go with enough time to really visit the whole place.

Great archeological site. You will spend most of the day here because the site is so big. I recomend for a tourist on a budget getting the bus from bus station in Mexico City. "Teohtihuacan bus line" (bus line is a bit old but will get you there safe) will take you right to front of site and pick you up. Last pick up @ 6pm. But obviously the best way to get there is if you rent a car @ airport and drive @ your own pace
