What a special place! This hostel has such a homey vibe. Koko and the other volunteers are extremely welcoming and helpful. The hostel is very social and there is SO much to do in Ulcinj. From beaches, to hikes, to fortress sunsets, to movie nights, this place really has it all. I would love to come back during peak season and experience all Ulcinj has to offer.

A fun and social hostel which feels just like being at a family home. From the minute you arrive Koko makes sure you have all the information you need to explore Ulcinj and enjoy all the beautiful nature it has to offer! Each night there is a different activity to do, watching sunsets, drinks at the local bar with live music or bonfires in the garden. Be prepared to extend your stay! All the animals that live at the hostel are also a good bonus :)

Incredible time at Pirates! Great location in Ulcinj and a really pleasant vibe in the hostel. I visited at the end of the season and it was still very social, even with fewer people around. There were organised sunset trips and fires in the yard sharing stories and laughter. Koko went above and beyond, helping with everything from transit to the next destination to activities in the area. If I’m in Montenegro again, I’ll definitely be back!

I had a great time here. Everything was great about this hostel. The beds are very comfy, with curtains. It's sa great place if you want to meet new people. And last but not least, shout-out to koko, i'll certainly comeback again!

One of, if not the best host in Montenegro. Kokolo couldn’t do enough for you, to make your stay whatever you want it to be. Organised trips and all the info you would need for the area and surrounding. I’ve been numerous times now and haven’t been disappointed with my experience once

Even tho it's been 2 years since I was there I still rave about this place, I recommend it to anyone going there. Amazing atmosphere, the owner and his dog and cat are the coolest (and crazy in a good way haha) and the activities are just WOW! Do not miss this place if you're going to the Balkans :)

Cool host. An eventful hostel with very friendly and funny Staff. Rooms (we booked a twin room) are okay for a hostel but also nothing special. The evening activities on the beaches are amazing and definitely recommended. The location is not that great if you want to go to the beach daily on your own but it's a good place overall in the city.

Great Hostel, Even Better Staff Had an awesome stay at this hostel — clean, comfy, and has a nice vibe. The standout was Koko. He’s super friendly, has a great sense of humour, and is always ready to help. His energy and local tips made the whole experience way better. Big thanks to Koko!
