Great educational afternoon. Perfect for any age and a nice way to learn a bit about the local pirate history. Loved checking out the flags, I had no idea there were so many. Seeing the actual size of cabins and ships was a real eye opener (spoiler, it's nothing like in the movies). Staff was friendly and helpful however the museum is self-guided. They might have offered private tours but we didn't see that.

A fun self-guided tour that shares lots of interesting pirate history in Nassau. It’s an easy walk, kid-friendly, and conveniently located close to the cruise port. Took about 30-40 minutes to finish. Admission is $14 per person, which feels reasonable for the experience. Just keep in mind that there’s no parking available, so plan accordingly.

Pretty darn cool. I have been to some of the best pirate museums in the world; Cape cod, Salem, MA, St. Augustine FL, St. Thomas USVI, and this one isn't bad. It has some really fun sets, set to fun sounds. The ambiance is great. Definitely worth visiting for the $12. But....it definitely did lack artifacts. There were only a few there. The biggest issue is, there is not one genuine piece of 8 or gold Doubloon in the place, the classic "pirate treasure". So that is a real bummer. And especially that old Spanish treasure is not hard to get a hold of. I myself have 100+ old genuine Spanish pieces of 8 from the pirate days. So a good museum definitely can buy some, or get a loan from someone like myself. And the artifacts....same thing, they are around, as the only real pirate place in the Bahamas, it is quite sad how few artifacts they have. Nassau was quite literally the pirate headquarters around 1700; they really need to up their setup.

Fun walk through! Not a very large museum. Only complaint was most of the information was reading small text off the walls which was challenging if other people were already there.

Great way to best the heat & learn some interesting history. We were able to take our time & freely explore. $14 entry & they have a souvenir shop with good prices.

The Pirates of Nassau Museum is a really cool museum and well worth the visit. It’s compact but packed with fascinating exhibits that bring the golden age of piracy to life. The displays are engaging, the history is well presented, and it’s easy to explore at your own pace. Perfect for history buffs or anyone looking for a fun, educational experience in Nassau. Highly recommend stopping by!

This was a great immersive experience with educational and interesting displays that made the pirate history of Nassau come alive. As a wheelchair user this place was wonderfully accessible with wide paths and gentle slopes. There is one staff operated lift in lieu of a short flight of stairs.
