PIROFANI FISH TAVERNA

A family run taverna serving up true delights. The restaurant is small but beautifully styled and the food is great, I think it's probably the best fish restaurant I've been in. There's a few in stegna which I've tried and people rave about but this place blows them out the water. Even a simple greek salad was raised to something moreish, we usually order one and never finish it and the sea bass was moist and delicious. There was probably only 8 tables in the place but you could tell every table was loving the food, a great no nonsense restaurant. If theres one restaurant you visit while In Rhodes and definitely if in stegna this should be it. You won't regret it

A little family restaurant connected with the area for beach beds. Very kind and friendly service, amazing food and drinks. Fresh fish always tastes the best and especially when served the way they do. The place itself is very cosy, cute little corner, everything clean, open kitchen shining.. simply perfect! Exactly the kind of business we should all support. Thank you very much for a great lunch.

Don't miss this spot! Service was very kind, friendly and quick, the prices were reasonable, and the food was outstanding. I had the quinoa salad with shrimp, and honestly, it was the best salad I’ve ever had. My partner had fish, which was equally delicious. We were both very impressed. One of the highlights is that the restaurant is connected to the beach, so you can enjoy your meal while sitting by the sea. We’d definitely come back!

A family-run tavern for true gourmets. Every dish is prepared by a goddess of the kitchen who truly deserves a Michelin star. Every meal we've ordered at this tavern delights the taste buds. Each dish carries a touch of fine dining at a reasonable price. A big thank you to the chef-mom, the son who is very attentive to the guests, and the dad, thanks to whom the tavern always has fresh ingredients. We ordered a delicious grilled squid with lentils and orange sauce, a salad with three types of quinoa, avocado, mango, and grilled shrimp, as well as meze, dolma, and more. Everything is top-notch – presentation, taste, and the freshness of the ingredients. We’ve happily returned here every year for about four years now. Highly recommended! 😊

A friend's recommendation leads me to Pirofani. It's still quiet in the early afternoon. The service is friendly and speaks German. I choose gavros and a Greek salad, both of which are delicious. You will get invoiced for something you did not order and since it is written in Greek nearly no one will recognize. We got served a bread with olives paste that we did not order and we had to pay for it!! It was luckily just 2,5€. I recommend you to use the picture of google translator before paying your bill. The food was good but we won’t come back for the reason already mentioned. The restaurant is run by a family and the atmosphere was not peaceful and gave us a bad feeling as customers.
