The perfect place for pies.Everything was delicious. Very reasonable prices .The only problem is that they don't speak English.Next to the Kazan cathedral.

I had my Russian Borscht here. Thr pies and tea were really good too. But why is the restaurant all Venetian? I guess since it's by the canal. Also the window seats are really uncomfortable if it's sunny because it gets too hot and the blinds won't protect you.

If you ever have the chance to visit Saint Petersburg, you should come and visit this place. The pies are fantastic! If you are worried about your waistline, they serve a range of salads and vegan meals too. What makes this place a real gem is the price of the meals. A piece of pie will cost you less than a $1.50 (USD). Great service and they have menus in English too.

Inexpensive, traditional russian dishes. Fast and delicous with various menu options. Locals go there. If you don't mind ordering by pointing on the food (every dish is shown behind glass), because the menu is in Russian, this is the place to eat!

It's a nice and comfy place to visit and chill at. I like meals here and I feel enlightened staring at people walking in the street nearby the Kasansky cathedral. I wish I had to pay less however.

This place is great for any type of food break with traditional Russian dishes. Even just a cup of tea/ coffee with a small sweet on the side. Do try the small rolls with walnuts - really something to die for!!!

Great, easy-to-reach location in the heart of the city. Very nice and cheap food (mostly pies, but also salads and soups), plenty of space inside. Various happy hour deals.
