This place is so wonderful we went two days in a row! Once for dinner inside next to the open floor to ceiling windows. Then to the outside bistro! Both wonderful! Great food, views, menu, and service!!!! We really enjoyed our experience! Tip- if you are going to eat at the inside bistro and show the gondola operator your reservation you can ride to the top of the mountain to the restaurant for free!

If you enjoy a view, excellent service, top notch food and drink, this place is for you. Not cheap, but what top notch place is. We enjoyed Bison as an appetizer, nice selection of whine, crab salad, elk and awesome. Desert. Pictures do not do it justice.

Piste mountain was our favorite lunch. We had a white-out, so couldn't enjoy the view, but the food and drinks were great. We started with edamame and warm drinks for us and the kids. The spicy chicken sandwich was excellent, and my wife enjoyed the veggie bowl with shrimp. The kids burgers were great. The bacon on the bloody mary hit the spot before we went back on the slopes.

On our trip to Yellowstone and Teton Natl Forrest, we had the great pleasure of dining at Piste Mountain Bistro (we made our reservation prior to our trip). Our visit was on their opening day for the season. We arrived early while they were having their “team” meeting, all staff on deck. Very professional. Let me just say our meals were fantastic, The staff and management were fantastic. And the cable car ride up the mountain was fantastic. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely visit.

Top 10 meals of all time. Everything was prepared perfect and the view was equally perfect. We had a little of everything because it was soooo good. If your thinking about it, just go. You won’t regret it.

Google
Amazing restaurant on top of the Bridger Gondola in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Although we only tried the broccoli cheddar soup, the pastrami sandwich with fries, and a beer, I highly recommend this spot! Amazing views, service, tasty food, and decent prices for being one of the only upscale restaurants on the mountain!

Despite rainy weather and one hour waiting for the tramp to go up, we had a great experience once we got there . The place has great atmosphere, food and excellent service ! And the views from the top are amazing!

Google
Dinner and experience were amazing! Loved being on the mountain top. The Appetizer and Entrees were super delicious. The dessert was not my favorite but my husband enjoyed it and he usually doesn’t like dessert. And the Espresso Martini….. SO GOOD!!! Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a unique place to celebrate a special occasion while on vacation in Jackson, Wy.

Yelp
We had a great time having lunch here. We weren't sure from the pictures how the atmosphere in the restaurant would be so when we got there for our lunch reservation we were happy to see that it is a very casual laid back place. It was a fun change of pace for food since we weren't skiing and just did this for the on hill experience. FYI, you'll need a gondola pass to get up to the lodge and that adds $20 a person for a single trip but it is a good opportunity to see the mountain up close and all the people riding the terrain. Make sure you look down the mountain before or after your meal to get the full view of the hill and the valley below. While the lodge view offers the chance to see a lot of the hill the valley isn't visible unless you walk about 50 feet in front of the lodge and look over the lip where riders can drop down onto the runs. This view isn't quite as high as the tram goes but it's still breathtaking. We had several things to try a bit of everything but what stood out was the shrimp cocktail shooters, the Pista lodge bread, the trout croquettes and the cheeseburger we shared. With everything the quality and taste of the items matched the price being asked. The shooters had a cocktail sauce that is a mix of cocktail sauce flavors with a smoked tomato soup flavored base. If you enjoy a shrimp cocktail you need to try this. The bread consists of little rolls in a cast iron pan that have been covered in garlic butter on both the top and bottom. They were so good and were a nice way to break up the other flavors of everything we ate! The croquettes were recommended by our hostess and they had such a luxurious feel to them. They are light and between the wonderful cream sauce, the crunchiness of the breading and the fresh citrus segments on top we really loved these. Finally, since they had run out of a few menu items due to our late reservation we chose a cheeseburger hoping it would be as elevated as the rest of the food. It didn't disappoint at all. The bun was so soft. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The garlic aioli tied everything together for one of the best burgers we've ever tried. We ended things with their apple brown butter cake for dessert. It was very flavorful with parts that were heavily flavored and parts that had a light consistency like a panna cotta with a slight Apple essence. The whole dessert has a caramel sauce and sautéed apples on the side to add in as desired with each bite. On top was the most amazing thinly sliced piece of apple that had been turned into an almost brittle like candy twill. We were a little apprehensive of the cost and effort required prior to visiting Piste Bistro but now consider this a great memory and a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice but not spectacular. Food was marginal. I was celebrating a birthday, host asked is there a special occasion and we replied yes a birthday. Well the server never mentioned this, etc. I work in hospitality and happy to say what a great job we do at my property. Also paid $40 to ride up in the gondola and no one ever asked for our tickets. Going to spend money in a restaurant make that a perk. Not a good experience. I bet I won't hear back from the leadership regarding this post. They don't care.

Yelp
While in Jackson hole for a bachelorette party, we spent our last night at Piste. The view alone was a perfect way to end our trip. Atmosphere: - I must say that I can't remember a place that compares to this in terms of use and not at the beach. Overlooking the beautiful mountains of Wyoming, set with a rainy day, and a beautiful rainbow. Live music merely adds to the good time vibes. Service: - The service is good, but wouldn't say that it was outstanding. Our server stated that she was new and it showed in that she did not get our order correct. While this didn't taint our experience, I acknowledge that we were a group of 12 and if she was truly new, it's a large group to handle. She was extremely friendly and attentive, and will make a great server. Food: - The food was very good. I expected it to not be as good as you are really paying and coming for the views. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor, and overall composition of each dish. We started with the Arancini, which was well seasoned and came in a delicious sauce. I got the curry salmon, which was overall good, but I wouldn't say spectacular. I also requested a side of bok choy, which I never received and felt that it would've added a nice component to the overall dish.

Yelp
In wintertime, a Piste lunch is the cherry on top of a ski vacation! The winter staff are the best - year after year, they dish up some of the tastiest meals in Teton Village. This year the Reuben sandwich, Wild Boar on Grits and Roasted Vegetable Bowl were hits with the crew. We do miss the seasoned edamame and chili so pls bring them back! For busy weeks, so reserve well ahead of time on Open Table. And having a very comfortable place to shed gear and rest weary legs / feet is such a gift during a long day on the slopes!

Lisa S.

Yelp
I'm not quite sure why Piste doesn't have a higher yelp score. This was the most enjoyable dining experience we've had in Jackson. From the breathtaking views to the superb flavors of our meal and great service, it was a 5 star evening. The mushroom appetizer topped with a poached egg was filled with delicious forest mushrooms perfectly cooked and seasoned. My salmon was one of the best I've ever had - flaky and moist - served with a variety of root vegetables that complimented the dish. And the huckleberry lemon cake with olive oil ice cream was unique and delicious. Truly a gem and and experience to remember.

Yelp
Piste had just opened this week for the season. There were highlights and obvious issues. Highlights - the elk, the steak, the wine, the view, the overall restaurant is nice inside Problems - the duck carbonara was so bland we had to ask for salt and pepper to give it some life. The service was just ok

Elise F.

Yelp
Comically overpriced location. Poor service. We were the first seating of the evening, staff was not ready and our waiter behaved as if he'd never waited tables before (asked for drink orders, wandered off without taking them, returned and asked if we wanted appetizers before again getting drinks). Several items were not available on their very small menu. Bartenders would not make a previous drink from their menu. Food lacked character and was not interesting enough to return for. Portions were small except for the elk. Many better options in the area. If you just want the experience of the location do a patio table and have drinks. Will not return.

Nicole V.

Yelp
When you have a patron asking for a table and your advised the are full, yet there are empty tables, so you go to the bar and are told they aren't serving anymore. Yet late arrivals are being seated it's a sign we We wanted and not to spend our money. Y'all need better options for guests who want to pay to eat and drink impromptu vs making them feel like red heated stepchildren. #discrimatinghosts

Yelp
Lunch reservation for approx dozen adults. More than half didn't finish their meals because the food just wasn't good. Definitely skip their chicken sandwich, though other lunch entrees weren't great either. Service was also piss poor. The same meal served to different people would come out different. Heck, they forgot to include ketchup with half the fries. Our fourth attempt at water refills, was finally answered. Given the price point, and this being Jackson Hole, I definitely expected significantly better all around.

Janess B.

Yelp
Great view! Great drinks! Great service! Need to come back and try the food though. Food looks amazing though!!

CindyLou C.

Yelp
The waiter was patient and courteous. The bread and soup were delicious. If we stopped there I would've been happy. There was only one option that was vegan and it was a barley dish. Pretty tasteless for $35 and few veggies in a mushy sauce. Also shared the beet salad, the dressing could've used a bit more acid. The view was very mesmerizing!!

Yelp
Top of the mountain restaurent. Gorgeous view! Delicious confit duck wings, filling burger and fancy game chili. Bloody Mary were really good!

Yelp
After researching restaurants with nice views I made a reservation at Piste Mountain Bistro about 3 months before our trip. The views from the restaurant were really nice. It was also nice we didn't have to purchase a ticket for the gondola since we had reservations. Once we were seated we went from excited to a sour mood. It took 15/20 minutes to get water and bread for our table when we clearly observed customers arrive at their table after us receiving water and bread. It was poor customer service - no other way to describe it. Note: I have really tried to be patient during COVID since many locations have hiring issues. After patiently waiting for 15/20 minutes - I walked to the hostess and explained the issue. Our experience was much better after that - the hostess quickly served us water and had a waiter come to our table. The waiter apologized, provided some good food recommendations, and we enjoyed our food. We had the ribs and melon for a starter, bison tenderloin, SRF Eye of Ribeye, cheeseburger (kids menu), and S'MORES FLAMBÉ. All very good. If staff was more attentive when we we were seated I would have given this restaurant 5 stars. The food was delicious.

Yelp
LEGIT the BEST place to eat at Jackson Ski Resort! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation for 2pm, and then eat and drink all the things (well, only drink enough so it's still safe for you to ski down the mountain still) and enjoy every bite/sip! We were here with a group of 8 and thought we were going to eat lunch and continue skiing. Little did we know how wrong we were. This place had fabulous service, delicious food and topped off with yummy, craveable skillet desserts to finish off the experience.

Andy C.

Yelp
Love the fact that there's such a comfortable eatery in the mountain. Great views and, attentive and professional service. Was a little disappointed by the food choices though, given that they seemed to be aiming higher end. I mean, the special was a sashimi plate. There's a good selection of interesting apps and small plates (confit duck wings, wagyu sliders) but you're limited to sandwiches as entrees. If you order a sandwich, it'll come with fries, greens or soup so you likely won't need anything else from the menu. I ended up making a meal of the sashimi app and a cup of chili, and they were good. There's a cafeteria attached. That's the way to go if you want to eat and enjoy the views but booking the bistro gets you a guaranteed table so you don't have the mad scramble for real estate and lunch time.

Martin L.

Yelp
Overwhelming view at the top of a mountain. Took a tram to dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. I had a chicken pot pie. Wonderful comfort food.

Tara S.

Yelp
We ignored the negative reviews and thought we'd make up our own mind. Should've listened. The food was not good at all. We had appetizers salad and salmon. None of the items were good in flavor or temperature. We ordered after being seated for almost an hour and didn't get our food for almost an hour, good thing we had great company. I suggest you ride up for the view and have a cocktail on the patio.

Courtney A.

Yelp
Worst Experience. I went with my boyfriend. Our server was inattentive and rude. We sat there for a half hour before she even came back to get our drink order, and then another half hour for food order. Once we ordered drinks we watched our server scrolling through her phone and chatting with friends and then a while later she brought us our drinks. Which were watered down and gross. The food was sub par, I wouldn't go here if you're looking for anything nice. Keep your expectations low. The vibe of the whole place was all in all loud and definitely not great for date night. We watched a table even stand up and leave due to the lack of service.

Yelp
I think it was funner to get to Piste Mountain Bistro than to eat here! Don't get me wrong, the cocktails and food were excellent but taking the gondola up the mountain was pretty fun! So yes, in order to get to Piste Mountain Bistro you will need to take a 12 minute gondola to the top. There is a special line for those with restaraunt reservations. Just give them your name and off you go. Once you get to the top, the views are spectacular so make sure that you time it right before sunset. The patio seemed to be a fun spot with people gathering with drinks in hand, waiting for their reservations at Piste. The views overlooking the valley were extraordinary and a great way to start dinner! Once we were seated, my friend and I ordered a couple of their Specialty Cocktails- The Sparrow and The Lucky Charm. Both were beautifully crafted cocktails- delish! For our meal we decided to keep it light since we had a big lunch. I ordered the Chef's Soup which was a tasty take on corn chowder. It was very good especially since it was a chilly day. I also ordered the grilled vegetables with smoked feta hummus which was the perfect size. I didn't want to eat too much meat, not any of possible. I filled up rather quickly, it was all so good! My friend decided on the Pork Belly which was our server's recommendation. I didn't try it but my friend said that it was excellent and nicely seasoned. Everything is solid at Piste Mountain Bistro- The food, the cocktails and the views!

Judy L.

Yelp
The restaurant was located right next to the self service cafe, but it was night and day -- cafe was crowded and a bit chaotic (though it smelled of delicious waffles); the restaurant was nice and serene with comfy chairs and a great view. Service and food were both fantastic! The bacon salad was refreshing, dressed just right and had a ton of bacon. The reuben sandwich was tasty and the fries were nice and crisp. Drinks were delicious as well, including my decadent hot cocoa. I really wanted to order the hot cocoa service but we didn't have room for it after the entrees. But I overheard raving reviews from both tables near us about the hot cocoa service.

Allison H.

Yelp
The view is incredible. Service is horrible - waited 40min for water and had to remind the waiter several times to bring water. Also took 1.5hr to bring food out and when they brought it out, the food was pretty cold. I would recommend the gondola ride up for the views and maybe some drinks, but don't waste your time eating here!

Gabriella G.

Yelp
PS: gondola ride from Teton village is free- you can go up without a reservation for drinks and a seat at the terrace ;it was windy and cold) so glad they could accommodate us on their opening night!!! We got lucky. Just come here it was great! What an amazing meal!! Make a reservation- they use Open Table, apparently!! We just got lucky on the first date. So the gondola is free, and amazing ride to 9110 feet up to the beautiful valley view!! Wow Cannot beat that... and the. The food. Today was opening night!!!! Come here do not miss this. We had the Old fashioned cocktails. Wow. Good stuff!! The. The Bison Croquettes and the Buffalo Fried Duck Leg both amazing. We wanted something different and were not disappointed: highly reccommend! The polenta was to die for!! (Cheddar polenta with the duck: YUMMM!) Had no room for dessert- Service was amazing and the tables were super spaced so make a reservation and come enjoy!! Food and views both amazing.

Scott T.

Yelp
High quality food, high altitude views, and high prices. However, it all exceeds expectations. If you're riding a gondola to 10,000 ft elevation for a farm to table experience, you can't expect Applebees pricing. The view is phenomenal and the food does not disappoint. The soup was delicious, the salad was remarkably simple, yet didn't fail to impress, and the steak and salmon were both cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. A great location for that special occasion, and the experience is beyond memorable. Loved it.

Ben R.

Yelp
Pricy, but wow, worth it. Anniversary night for us. Had the bison tenderloin and my wife had the rib eye. And of course the views are fantastic. Recommend getting a later reservation if you can hold your appetite to see night fall over the mountains.

Gianna L.

Yelp
Piste is our favorite spot on the mountain we went everyday on our trip! Grab seats at the bar if you can, Mickey the bartender is the BEST and made our experience. Can't wait to be back at Piste and see Mickey again. Follow - @swagfoodphilly

Hannah P.

Yelp
Awesome way to see the top of Jackson Hole Ski Resort. The reservation comes with a complimentary gondola ride up to the very top try and make a reservation at sunset as the views are gorgeous. The food is a little overpriced but also delicious. Highly recommend for visitors to get a good view of the resort or for a date night.

Jenny M.

Yelp
We were looking forward to this for weeks. the gps took us down a closed road that is closed for the season. The restaurant didn't tell us that so it would have taken us an hour extra to get to the restaurant. The manager was beyond rude. She charged us a cancelation fee, which I get, but it was out of our control. So, on our vacation, we drove two hour, just to turn around and were charged $20 a person on top of it. do not go to this restauran!!

Cassie N.

Yelp
Wonderful spot for a mid ski day lunch! Views are incredible. I would highly recommend reservations on a busy weekend. The Reuben is a popular sandwich that is very large! Only order if you're quite hungry. Drinks are superb and the Hot Cocoa service is wonderful. Comes with many other sweets and a generous amount of hot chocolate to share with the table.

Janet R.

Yelp
Took the gondola up the mountain to enjoy the beautiful view of the Grand Teton Village and surrounding areas and sat outside. My husband went inside to get me coffee and himself a KIND bar. I was shocked at what they charged. $5.25 for coffee and $5 for the KIND bar. That's RIDICULOUS! I was a little upset my husband paid it.

Greg C.

Yelp
At the top of the Jackson Hole gondola, this has the best view ever. What was surprising is that they have great service and great (but pricey) food. I had a Colorado caught bass and my wife had a root vegetable dinner. Amazingly good!

Rob G.

Yelp
Place your reservations at least 2 days in advance for the restaurant but the patio is open seating on first come first served with more casual menu. The views from this mountain top restaurant are beyond words. The 15 minute gondola ride up the mountain is free if you have reservations. Great for a special occasion, romantic night out, or just a very memorable experience. The best reservation time is about 45 minutes before sunset. The food and the service is excellent but with a limited menu. Again, make your reservations early and bring your camera.

Lanny B.

Yelp
There's usually a good reason to be a little skeptical of up-on-the-mtn summertime drinking and dining, but I don't think those reservations hold at Piste. The vibe is very low key, the tables and chairs seem plentiful, the small plate food is fine and not exorbitantly priced, and the staff was super-friendly on a crowded Saturday evening in high-season July. Their playlist was impossibly bad, though. Worst country and rock I have never heard before and hopefully won't hear again. Fingers crossed this was just an anomaly, as I didn't see references to this in other reviews.....and oh boy, it would have been mentioned.

kristoffer m.

Yelp
Please make sure u go to this place up on the slopes in Rendezvous loge. We ate the Buffalo chili AMAZING, Mac and cheese, chicken sandwich with goat cheese sooo good, the pretzels were also very good. I think you can order anything at this place and it will be very good. Please make a point to go here and make reservations or you can sit at the bar and eat.

Anna D.

Yelp
This place was probably the best food we had our entire trip to Jackson Hole. It does get busy, so try to make a reservation ahead of time. The first day, we ate at the bar because we didn't have a reservation and didn't want to wait an hour for a table. We got the burger and sweet potatoes. Both were soooo good. The second day, we got the sweet potatoes again. My husband said they were the best sweet potatoes he's ever had. We also had the sliders and they were delicious. He'd been eyeing the french toast bread pudding the first day but we were too full. We ordered those on the second day and they were soooo worth it.

Deb K.

Yelp
The Resturant was clean and service was good! The meals are pricey but the views are excellent on a clear day!

Mike M.

Yelp
EDIT: by the way, how this place only has 3.5 stars is just crazy. This is a Yelp 5 star place. The ride up is cool, but the restaurant is superior. Probably one of our best experiences in Jackson. Service was impeccable, food was spectacular. Started w cocktails--great. Switched to local beers which are very good. Had the salad made from local greens and vegetables. Wife had the salmon and I had the bass, both cooked perfectly w skin on nice and crispy. Had the desert s'mores which was really good. A must do.

Greg A.

Yelp
Just had a coke and chocolate chip cookie, the cookie is the bomb!!! They have happy hour starting at 4:30 so free ride to the top.

Ben H.

Yelp
You go to Piste for the view which is a spectacular panorama of the valley below but the food isn't bad either even if that's not the draw. After taking a pleasant ride on the ski lift to the top, the restaurant sits on the edge of a jaw-dropping vista of the valley below. There is complimentary bread and butter. Both wheat and herb bread but the herb had the best flavor. Prices are really high so when we had several kids with us, the menu only showed the high priced adult items and we were a bit worried about paying that much for a meal that the kids probably wouldn't eat much of. Turns out there is a kids menu including even a kid's steak option for much more reasonable prices & portions. The place has a modern decor and pleasant atmosphere, warm and inviting. There is a long wait (especially during busy times). After ordering, we waited 20+ minutes to receive our food so plan for that. With the ski lift ride, waiting for seating, waiting for your food, etc, this is not a good place to go if you're in a hurry. I started with the Lokavor salad which is a fresh blend of vegetables and just the right amount of dressing coating it so that all the flavors came through. For the main course, I had the mole tamale which was great with an almost caramelized crunchy outer layer and rich mole inside. There's also a healthy portion of pork filling. Unfortunately, the rest of the group I was with didn't love their meals. The steak was tough (poor cut of meat) and disappointing. Still, my experience was good overall so it probably depends on what you order. The place is pretty cool and it's worth going once just for the view and overall experience.

Chris S.

Yelp
My niece wanted a top shelf group dinner while in Jackson and Piste Mountain Bistro delivered in all ways. Riding the Bridger Gondola up to Piste, we saw several mule deer and a beautiful black bear right under the gondola. While waiting, we took some great photos of Jackson Hole valley and the surrounding mountains. We were greeted by Sam, our waiter, who did a fantastic job delivering drinks and appetizers. The ahi sashimi was excellent and the locavore salad was also very good. 6 of 8 people ordered the bison filet and all said it was outstanding. A vegan in our group order the squash blossom entre and proclaimed it both beautiful and delicious. I was also an exception and ordered the crispy duck breast, which was absolutely the best duck I have ever tasted. We passed on desserts but got drinks to go as we rode back down. I would also give both our waiter and the kitchen highest praise for they knowledge and accommodation of various food allergies and preferences. We had a great experience, great food, and great service. High kudos to Piste and unqualified recommendations if you are looking for a classy and unique experience!

Ben W.

Yelp
Had drinks and apps on the deck. View was nice despite the haze from the wildfires. Sangria special was appropriately priced and very nice. Not too sweet. Had the pork flatbread which was fine but misleading. Cheap bacon is not the same as pork belly. It was also incredibly overpriced. Overall this place is fine but overpriced even for mountain food.

Carolynn F.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the kitchen service. Ordered a small bowl of chili that was literally HALF full. Wish I had taken a pic. We were sitting at the bar so I asked the bartender if he could take the chili back and give us a full serving. He returned a few minutes later to tell us that that was the normal serving. He asa very good bartender so it was not his fault but it unbelievable that the kitchen would not but one extra spoon full chili in our small bowl that literally goat $15 and the extra scoop probably cost them 25 cents. Not to mention the wine was $16 per glass. Ridiculous!!!! We will not be back. Unfortunately we spent a great deal of money for our ski weekend as well. A little effort to please the customer goes along way....

Janice J.

Yelp
Definitely worth making a reservation for (through OpenTable) while you're on the mountain skiing. If you can snag a window seat, by all means try because the view is amazing! The Peppermint Patty was all I hoped for in a boozy, warm drink straight off the mountain, including Fernet Branca and whipped cream...yum. The sandwich portions were huge (even if you split one...like the delicious Rueben) and everyone in our party got a little too stuffed and had to waddle back out to the mountain to ski it off! The soup was underwhelming and the service was slow to get everything started, so if you're in a hurry, come earlier than 12 or just hit the grab and go instead, but for a way to fill up with a gorgeous mountain view, it's the best at Jackson Hole!

Tim O.

Yelp
Spectacular views with prices pretty much in line with what you'd pay at an on-mountain cafeteria. Make reservations at least a day in advance. Your friends who don't ski can pay $15 to take the gondola up. No complaints regarding food or service.

Alison F.

Yelp
Mediocre food - but lets be real, you're not here for the food, you're here for the view. And the view is incredible. Here's how to maximize this experience during the summer: take the gondola up after 5 when it's free. Sit on the deck to order from the happy hour menu (it's VERY reasonably priced which I found shocking because they could gouge you for all you're worth. Like I said, the food isn't awesome, but it's fine, and pretty cheap. It's hard to find cheap food in Jackson). Take advantage of the $5 to-go bartender's choice drink for the ride back down. This is exactly what I did and I was a happy camper. Felt bad for our server, they were obviously horrifically understaffed. She did her best, but it did take about 20 mins to get my beer which is pretty unacceptable. I don't blame her, but if any management reads this please take note: MORE SERVERS.

Yelp
Dropped $250 on lunch, unexpectedly asked to vacate table 50 mins into reservation within 10 minutes. Don't waste your money on a "fine dining" lunch - this is not a dine dining experience. I wasn't even half way through my entree when a hostess stopped by and said, "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we need this table in 10 minutes....". Skip this and enjoy a nicer lunch at Handle Bar at the Four Seasons I stars.

Yelp
How cool is it to take the gondola up the mountain and sit in a nice restaurant with floor to ceiling windows enjoying the view! Our kids were boarding and we weren't but wanted to enjoy the view and adventure of riding up the mountain. We met them for lunch at Piste. The service was great and our food was delish. I split a burger and fries and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were real - with skin on and cooked just right. Really enjoyed the experience!

Yelp
Top Notch. In all the world, there's only one! You will not find a restaurant with the magnificent view and fantastic dinner combo as the Piste. Wago sliced steak, purple potatoes, Israeli artichoke soup, and top notch service.

Yelp
The Piste Mountain Bistro has everything you want from a bistro -- view, warmth, great service, excellent menu options. First, it is at the top of the mountain so be prepared for total awesome views; second, they managed to put a fine dining restaurant in a ski lodge, which is quite the feat. The service and the food were excellent, and the atmosphere is amazing. There is a cafeteria within the same complex but why would we go cafeteria style when such a unique dining experience is right next door? Exactly. The prices were comparable to any restaurant in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but Piste offers a view like no other. If you are not skiing (which we weren't), you can just take the gondola to ride up, which is shorter than driving to the neighborhood bar and grill. Though note, there is a $15 fee if you go that route. The gondola isn't too cold if you shut the windows and the weather is sunny. Regardless, it is quite the experience. It is an excellent restaurant and worth the effort to get up there. I'd recommend trying the pear bread pudding, it was superb.

Yelp
This had to be the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone. Nestled up top the beautiful grand Tetons overlooking Jackson is this fine dining restaurant with views to kill for. We were there night two after reopening from the covid19 pandemic shutdowns. Top notch food and drink.
