Google
Pitchfork is a fine dining restaurant with a modern Australian menu focused on making the majority of their food items ‘in-house’. Excellent atmosphere and location, being situated facing the village square. Recommend booking an Al fresco table if available. Kids are generally free to explore/climb trees within site of their parents, avoiding the need to bring electronic devices to keep them occupied. All meals were tasty and had a good balance of flavours

Absolutely beautiful food!!!! We had the Lamb and the Risotto and both were cooked to perfection. It was my birthday and the owner kindly sang happy birthday which was a lovely surprise.

Fabulous food displaying the chef’s French credentials. Our party of three each ordered different meals and everyone was over the moon. Scallop starter with bonito bacon not only gorgeous on the plate but perfectly executed. The ink risotto was brill, the steak simply superb and the ‘Oops I dropped the duck pie’ - couldn’t go past that! - next level good. The Maxwells Silver Hammer Shiraz paired well with all the mains. Highly recommend this lovely eatery

Been awhile since we lunched at Pitchfork but we were pleasantly surprised again how great our little local still is ! Love the menu love the choices . Perhaps more choice for Rose on the wine list

Matt, Chef Christophe and the AMAZING Pitchfork team pulled out all the stops to host 35 of our family and friends in celebration of our wedding day. Impeccable, irresistible food. Attentive, kind and intuitive service. & overall good vibes all round! We have loved Pitchfork for years, so there was no question of where we would host our wedding reception. However, the team somehow managed to exceed our expectations. We will remember this lunch for the rest of our lives!

The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a beautiful 3 course menu and it was phenomenal! Do yourself a favour, treat yourself, and go here!!

We had a pleasant anniversary dinner here. Although there were barely any patrons, we were offered water and the server disappeared. Had to ask again when they finally returned for the drinks order. The confit duck had an unique combination of flavours and side of beans was a little oily. Fish and chips were a good size portion but no different or better than what is served at pubs and RSLs. There were no garnishes or finesse that one would expect from an expensive restaurant. We both enjoyed the desserts.

If you feel like having lunch at a spot that is not too smart or casual, Pitchfork is the place to go. Their menu is sophisticated enough for those who want to enjoy a 3-course lunch while sitting in a relaxed environment. Book a table outside and bring the dog along.

Yelp
I don't eat at the same place more than once when I travel because I am the type who likes to try as many places as possible on my trip. Not only did I eat here twice I did it in the same day. My girlfriend and I split just about everything on the menu between the two meals. Each plate out did the last. The flavors were so outrageously delicious that I had to ask the waitress repeatedly questions about he ingredients so I could possibly try to make my cooking at home come close to this. I embarrassed my girlfriend by scrapping my fork over and over the empty plates in an attempt to leave none of these miracles of flavor behind. It's unfair that this place is 7,000 miles from my home, if your within 1000 miles of this place you have to drive over.

Yelp
If you want something exquisite, come to Pitchfork. My family was visiting from the USA and we were taking a road trip up the coast. I am so happy we stopped by here for lunch. Everyone absolutely loved their dish and the plates were as white as snow. We ordered an appetizer for 7 of us before our individual meals came. A real treat!

Yelp
Excellent service. Treated us very well. The oysters were very good as well. The seafood dishes we ordered were not as good. Mine was way overpowered with sauce and spices and my wife's was quite dry. I will endeavor to stop by again and see what else the menu has to offer though.

Yelp
My pick in Peregian. Superb nouveau cuisine, served outside in a nice courtyard across the road from the beach. The spinach gnocchi with burnt garlic, watercress salad and pumpkin is superb, as is the pork belly with figs. The real star is the raspberry roulade, with turkish delight ice cream and persian fairy floss, which is like the best upscale pavlova on earth.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere. Amazing cuisine. Nestled away in perigian is pitchfork. The unique menu straight away tantalises the taste buds. If you're passing through or you're not far off being a local then stop in. Make sure you call ahead and make a booking, this place is busy and rightfully so. The service was excellent and the fastest I've ever experienced which was surprising considering how busy they were. Pitchfork: 5/5.

Yelp
I had the oysters and a salad, which were great. My friend had the fish and said it was very bland. My two other friends had the lamb pie, and both had upset stomachs that night.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant with more tables outside than inside. We were recommended and went to celebrate my daughters birthday while staying at Mt Coolum. The food was excellent! Every dish at the table drew praise and my steak was the best I have had for many months. One thing to note is that it seems that it is only BYO and they do not sell anything to drinkmother than mineral water. I support the recommendation given to us and strongly suggest you give Pitchfork a try.

Yelp
Bug salad a winner . Good service good food would absolutely come back . We went with locals who hadn't been before and it out did expectation.
