Bars and Nightlife in São Paulo

"Pitico is mostly outdoors, and the bar section is located in an old shipping container. The vibe and street food attracts a young crowd. It’s on Rua Guaicuí, a street full of other bars near the Largo da Batata, and is perfect for starting off your night with a few beers and some street food to pick at." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious falafel and amazing drinks. This is a popular place for my friends. Birthdays are celebrated here. Or, for a fun happy hour hangout.

Google
Fantastic environment that is tucked away from the rest of the bars and restaurants in the area. The food was good, but a little bit pricey for the city. I look forward to returning soon

The ambiance is great, it's kind of like a forest grotto in the city which is cool. The beverage and snack selection is a bit limited however and the fact that it's outside means that you'll be engulfed in a cloud of cigarette smoke.

Pitico is always overcrowded and it's impossible to find a seat if you don't arrive as early as possible, still it's worth a try. You'll find all kinds of people there, from hipsters to preppies. I used to go to Pitico since it's opening and it's clear to me that their regulars have changed. Good thing is that the food and drink they sell haven't! I personally recommend their branded beers, brewed at Oak Beer if I'm not mistaken. Also, try their chickpea nugget, always crisp and delicious.

Very close to the subway yellow line, nice decoration with trees and beach chairs. Food was really good and beer and drinks were okay (kinda expensive). I think they should improve the ambient music, couldnt hear that.

Singing Clém

Google
A Very nice place for lunch or dinner. Lively, simple and good easy food or cocktail ! Great hummus falafel etc

Climbing Apples

We were shown around to three different tables (depending on where we could smoke) with people from the service having different opinions on where we could smoke, pretty unclear also looking around seeing ashtrays on tables with smoking forbidden signs. After having to change table three times we were told they were actually closing, while other tables were still able to order. Very confusing and unpleasant experience, with no intention of the service of making the experience the opposite.

Simply my favorite bar in São Paulo. The entire street is great and often referred by locals as “rua do pitico”

Yelp
If you try to find Pitico on an extremely crowded night on the street they're on in Pinheiros, you could miss it like I did. Now, I did use Google Maps and when it told me I had arrived, I didn't see a sign or what looked to be an entrance to a bar front, so I kept walking thinking I would come across a giant illuminated sign. I went back and realized I was standing right in front of the entrance the entire time, lol.. noticed the tiny tiny tiny lit up sign high up (not eye-level from the street) and the staff / security maybe standing / sitting by the front of a black gate. You'll walk down a little hallway into the main area of the bar where there tons of picnic tables, beach chairs gathered around little side tables, one place to order drinks and food where you see the menu on the wall. The kitchen is on the opposite end where your food will be delivered to wherever you choose to sit as you'll receive a number. The bar in the back contains cocktail drinks. The noise level isn't extremely loud, but could be depending on where you are sitting. If you're trying to talk to someone to get to know them it might be difficult unless you are sitting fairly close to one another. Atmosphere is really chill. I came here at night and I liked this spot. It was clean, open (outdoors open air), and the people were chill. You can bring your dog. Large groups of friends will do well here. I had cerveja and some food that was really tasty! I would order the same thing again. It was the perfect snack. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head anymore. It came on two skewers and I think had pita or some type of bread on the side to use with a spread brought out on a wooden board. I don't remember what time it was, but I had thought they were closing kind of early for being a bar. No worries though as there are plenty of other bars to check out in the area if you don't feel like going home right away.

Yelp
We came by here to meet some friends for lunch, and I absolutely loved it. We came right at 12 which is a little bit before the São Paulo working day lunch, so it was not crowded. We were some of the first people there. We were a big group - 7 adults and 2 children. We ordered lots of things to share. I had some of the falafel, the eggplant, the french fries with zaataar.... I immediately ordered myself a falafel wrap and an additional order of fries to NOT share!! Get some extra tahini sauce to dip those fries into! The space is made up of a big yard and a couple different converted shipping containers. You order the food at the one in the middle, then it is prepared and served at one you passed when you first entered. Keep an eye on the number! If you want to order alcohol, you have to head to the one in the back. I ordered a mojito that was really strong. Not like a, "Oh, this drink is strong! I'm gonna have fun later!" It was more like a, "Oh... This drink is undrinkable." It's what I imagine medicine tasted like in 1804. Other than that, I really enjoyed the space and the food, and I would definitely return.

Yelp
Know that feeling like hiking through tropical jungle and suddenly see a white polar bear (LOST)? Well, there is no polar bear here, but right after stepping out from Yelp's HH, we were instigated by some noise, not too loud, but we could hear people talking and having fun, dim and far light lamps, although, all we could see promptly was the back of a black container. Curious, we walked toward the light and discovered Pitico! Great drinks but the food is alright. Also, great place to meet some interesting people. Side note: if it's raining, avoid this place, it's mostly open.

Yelp
This place made me remember when I lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A terrain nicely filled with containers and a little close area. Not very cheap beer or food, but amazing people. The atmosphere is just awesome. I totally recommend this place and will def become regular here.

Yelp
A place that, overall, does not have the structure to stand its hype. One of the most crowded bars I've ever been in this city, and not in a good way. Not recommended if: -you can't stand loud places. I had to yell all the time I was there or else I wouldn't be heard. Ended up with a hoarse voice. It is literally the loudest place I've been this year; -you like to sit. Even if you get yourself a chair, there are so many people standing up next to you waiting to take your seat that the experience becomes uncomfortable; -you don't like to stand ten minutes in a messy line to order a beer/drink, or 20-30 for food. If these do not bother you, then go ahead. There are literally hundreds of others looking for the same thing as you there. Personally, I think São Paulo has better places to go that do not necessarily make you struggle to have a good time. Will gladly chance this review if Pitico shows more capacity to handle its costumers in the future.

Yelp
Tucked away in a cute little street in Pinheiros, Pitico is the now trendy place to eat and drink. However don't go when its raining. A fairly small place, its divided into a kitchen and a bar. The food, all Middle Eastern isn't the greatest if you want a really good kafta or kebab. And the bar can be a hit and a miss depending on how many people are there and how interested the bartenders are. A unique cool place to visit with friends if you want to hang with some hipsters but not worth going to if you want some good food.

Yelp
Is this an amazing food and drink experience? Nah it's just ok. But is the atmosphere fun and unique? Absolutely! This is one of the more creatively designed bar spaces in SP. The place is almost entirely outdoors with only the kitchen and bar spaces tucked into converted shipping containers. The space between is littered with lawn chairs and filled with friendly, trendy young folk. The music sets a fun vibe without being too loud. It's a great spot to enjoy catching up with a group of friends. Sometimes the lines get long, but grab some chairs and chill out taking turns jumping in the line and it'll all workout just fine.

Yelp
Picico seems like a combination food truck/camping experience. Don't go if you have plenty of time on your hands, because the service is slow and confusing. The food (Middle Eastern) is average or below average, depending on what you get. It's OK for a quick bite, but I couldn't see myself going there again. At least it wasn't expensive.

Yelp
Great spot for beers and snacks. Nice vibe with lots of seating. Would recommend. Wraps looked tastey (did have though). Staff speaks English (for the win).
