Pitogyros Traditional Grill House - Gyros, souvlaki, kebab.

Incredible patio eatery (and take out) with beautiful views of the water. Lively crowd passing by. Don’t be fooled, the portions are very generous! A full lunch and drinks here was well worth the walk over. All food items look delicious but the gyros are definitely superior!

The best Gyros we had! Staff were super friendly and even though it was busy, the service was quick and the atmosphere was buzzing. I am vegetarian and love halloumi and this was one of the few places in Santorini that did a halloumi gyros! Would definitely recommend!

Food quality seemed good overall. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fries, but that’s probably just personal preference. However, they did forget to put the cheese on my fries. It was brought to me later in a cup, but unfortunately the cheese seemed to come straight from the fridge, so it was cold and hard. This made the whole portion a bit unpleasant to eat.

Food was fresh, only issue I had was that I ordered a pork gyro and it appeared that they gave me chicken. Not sure why as I never asked for chicken. Wait was about 20 minutes, limited seating outside only.

Pitogyros: This place is incredible! Open from early till late in the evening and runs like clockwork. The staff are incredible. They work non stop! The customers just keep coming, to the point tables have to be booked in advance. Your turn comes round pretty quick. If you’re after authentic, proper meat filled Giros, this is definitely the place to go. We visited here twice. We got a very nice warm welcome and the service was second to none from all staff members. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re after an authentic, Greek filled Giro. THE BEST GYRO OF MY LIFE! Really cute small restaurant that has only few tables for dine in. I recommend ordering your food to go and then eating by the window where there are small ledges. The wait for a table was maybe 20 minutes while we got our food to go in 5! The staff here are so kind. I ordered the pork gyro in the wrap and I honestly dream about it all the time. No other gyro wrap will ever compare. The meat is so tender and juicy and flavorful. The perfect ratio of meat and fat! I also ordered a Greek salad which was fresh and the perfect portion. My boyfriend ordered the pork gyro platter which is actually meant for 2 people. It's huge!!

After visiting several islands, this is the best plate of meat grill we have had in all of Greece. The high rating of Pitogyros is legit! We thought it would be another tourist trap but it definitely wasn’t. The serving was also huge and perfect for 2 people. The grilled halloumi was just average though. If there is only one meat stick you should try, definitely try the kebab.

This restaurant is convenient, tasty, affordable, and such quick turnaround time for a table! Perfect for a vegetarian, and their fries are so good. Have a meal before the sunset here.
