PituRooms (Salatiga, Central Java) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"On an unprepossessing street in central Salatiga, occupying a structure that’s barely nine feet wide, PituRooms may be the skinniest hotel in all of Indonesia, let alone the world. It’s a hotel with a sense of humor, too, playing the situation for laughs in little details throughout the public spaces. The top-floor lounge offers impressive views despite its tiny footprint. Seven rooms embrace the irreverent and eccentric, each dedicated to a specific color reflected in the furnishings and art objects." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel located in the center of Salatiga, uniquely only consist of 7 rooms. And although the room is small, they sucessfully squeezed all the amenities, including refrigerator and also small safety box. The bathroom is also small-unique but manage to cater all the necessity (gotta love the body wash & shampoo from Atsiri 💜). But most of all, What we love is the bed and pillow. If your room happened in the upper floor, you can try the elevator, i called it 'astronout elevator' or maybe simply take the stairs. And make sure to visit their rooftop while sipping their coffee from 'Ngopo Ngopi' coffee shop.

Location is perfect. Top architect design. Coffee and food, strongly strongly recommended. It's a lost, if you don't try the coffee, food and its cake.

A Masterpiece of Space, Design, and Service I initially expected an overrated hotel, but I was completely wrong. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s artistic and industrial design. Every inch of space is utilized efficiently, making the entire experience both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It’s a place that never feels dull—there’s always something to admire, from the intricate art pieces to the thoughtful architectural details. The craftsmanship is remarkable, with high-quality, durable materials used throughout the hotel. The result? A timeless, elegant atmosphere that exudes excitement in every aspect—design, service, and dining. A special mention goes to Mbak Fil and Mbak Dika, whose exceptional service made my stay even more memorable. Everything was communicated clearly, and their fast response ensured a seamless experience. The sixth floor, in particular, offers a serene escape—an artistic sanctuary where clever design elements continue to surprise and inspire. Every corner of the hotel reflects a deep understanding of aesthetics and functionality, making it a truly remarkable place to stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough—whether for the design, the service, or the overall experience, it exceeds expectations in every way.

We actually visited this unique hotel a couple months ago. We just booked for a dinner in the resto on top floor. The resto is definitely quite small, only 9-12 person. The atmosphere is unforgettable. The visitor must use stairs to go up because the vacuum lift only for the hotel guest. This place is not disable and kid-friendly because limited spaces.

Pitu Rooms Hotel offers a truly unique experience as Indonesia's slimmest hotel! The concept is fascinating, and despite the compact size, the rooms are impressively clean and comfortable. The staff's service is top-notch—always friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall positive experience. While the price is slightly on the higher side, the novelty and quality make it worth it. If you're looking for something different and memorable, this hotel is definitely worth checking out!

This is my second time staying at Piturooms, unfortunately it's not as clean as the first time I came here. The bed sheets are not as clean as the bright white when I first came here. There was a brownish yellow stain. When I asked the staff, they said it was from the laundry. I hope Piturooms can maintain its cleanliness, because I think it's a great value for me--and I think for other guests--who have come here. But I can't lie that the bed was soft and the air-conditioning was top-notch, with the room smelling fresh. I think if there is another opportunity, I will come back. Recommended for a place to work creatively and contemplate here.

One of the unique hotels in Salatiga. I was there not to stay, but just enjoyed coffee & snacks. On the 1st floor there's a mini bar and a kitchen which can be used as a receptionist tho. At the bottom of the stairs near the elevator there is a display of local products from many brands & merchandise store. To maximize the available space, the edge of the room used as a seating area for visitors by adding a minimalist table and several plants in some corners. When we arrived, we were given a menu book and they let us to order directly, there weren't too many menu options, standard prices, but there were several menus that were quite unique, one of them was French Ting (if I'm not mistaken) a combination of French Toast & Enting2 gepuk. On the way up the stairs there are various art works displayed on the walls. The arrangement and placement on each floor are also very carefully considered, good lighting and the choice of interior materials made me amaze and of course I got different feel than just walk up the stairs. Arriving at the top, it felt like entering "my world" because the impression of calm, peace and comfort made me feel alive. The rest was spent by enjoying the food and music playlist while calming down a bit. Thankyou Pitu Rooms

A unique addition to Salatiga tourism. An architecture design by one of Indonesian Architect. We didn’t stay here, but we went to their restaurant at the roof top. It’s a unique experience to feel how a small space could accomodate a functions, and works properly. If you’re into new experience, you should try it.
