The Best Disneyland Hotels: Where to Stay In and Around the Park

"What was formerly Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will become Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel in late January 2024. The newly remodeled hotel will include rooms paying homage to iconic characters from Pixar movies like The Incredibles and Toy Story 3. There’s also a rooftop pool area in the works that’s themed to Finding Nemo with a splash pad and a Crush-themed water slide. This hotel also offers direct access to Disney California Adventure Park so you can hop in line for the Incredicoaster faster than Dash Parr."

Our family of 4 throughly enjoyed our stay at the Pixar Hotel in Disneyland California. |The gentleman, Rex, who checked us was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. He was very friendly and the attention to detail truly made us feel at home.|The room was fantastic- modern, spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, and a perfect place to relax after long days in the parks.|We also loved the hotel’s facilities. The access to Disney California Adventure park was very convenient and we enjoyed having early access to the park. |All of the staff members were friendly and helpful with tips regarding where to dine and instructions on how and when to access the parks. Our family throughly enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to return!

We had never had the chance to stay on property before. It was a lovely experience. The Disney magic touches started the moment we stepped in. The location was great. Right across the street from California Adventure and a 15 minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland with kids. Less than a quarter mile to an entrance of downtown Disney. The rooms were perfect for our family of five. Beds were very comfortable. We didn't hear much noise from other rooms or the hallway. We do take a sound machine for when we sleep but even during the day I heard little noise.

I stayed at the Pixar Place Hotel for my birthday and just had the greatest experience. The rooms were beautiful, hotel was clean, and pool was amazing. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful! Downtown Disney and the parks are within walking distance. 100/10 stars, I did not want to leave! I cannot wait to go back :)

Recently stayed at this hotel from the first time and we loved our experience! The location, park access, staff, and attention to Disney detail as well as hotel theming were perfect! Rooms are very nice and comfortable and as someone who is very picky about beds and pillows, these were great. The only complaint like many others, is the elevators. The weird, new elevator system itself took a little getting used to, but I don’t think that is the problem. The problem is that there are only 4 small elevators for a 15 floor hotel. At busy times, it would take a little while for an elevator to come. If there were simply more elevators I think the issue would be solved. Overall wonderful stay though and we will be back!

Had a fantastic time at the Pixar Place Hotel a few weeks ago while visiting the Disneyland Resort. The hotel is clean, beautiful, cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend the hotel for your next stay at the Disneyland Resort. We had a theme park room which was totally amazing. The view is worth a million dollars. You can totally look in on California Adventure every morning and watch the shows at the end of the night at your room. The only downsides of the resort and there not huge deals at all are the shower heads aren’t attached at the top of the shower so you have to start with the head facing the wall which was annoying and the second there really wasn’t any dedicated quick service restaurant inside the hotel like at the Disney World hotels. I would have liked that for a quick coffee at the end of the night. But nothing crazy. All in all, resort was amazing and would definitely come back again.

This hotel was perfect for us. I love how close it is to DCA and DL by going through the Grand California. The elevators were no issue at all and we were on the 10th floor! Check in staff is super friendly and bell services. Super clean hotel with perfect amount of Disney touches . I like how the Sketch pad is open early so you can grap something quick before heading to parks.

Our stay was excellent, our room was very clean and updated, nice linens and towels. Everything was of high quality, as expected from the Disney brand. Walking distance was about 15 min from the main gate, A faster entrance to Ca Adventure with some restrictions. Monarail is close by also. Lovely pool area with activities going on at night. Will return again for sure.!!! Sad I had to leave....

Worst experience I had with a hotel. First off we pay 1,000s of dollars to stay there. They charge $250 for a security deposit and $180 for 4 days of parking. They double charged my card and when I went to them to try to get the refund the guy was super rude. He was yelling and talking to me very rude. I told him we needed the extra $430 for our trip so I couldn’t just let them charge me $860 I needed the extra $430 they took out. He kept yelling and arguing I told him he didn’t need to be rude to me I wasn’t being loud or rude was just trying to understand how and when I would get the refund my brother in law walked up because he seen he was yelling and arguing with me he then apologized and said he’s yelling at me cause his hearing aids and the double charge was a training mistake because the lady that double charged me was training and new. I told him it’s not the yelling it’s the way you’re talking to me. Not to mention on top of that elevator times were ridiculous we waited 30 minutes to get to the lobby. Another family got so tired of waiting they went down the stairs with a stroller. The good thing about this hotel is they’re super clean and the decor is beautiful. Overall I would not stay here again 😞

Yelp
Had a blast staying at Pixar Place in early May with the family! Staff were very welcoming, attentive & helpful. Loved the decor, the characters & music. There was still some construction going on but it didn't bother us since we were up early anyways (bodies were on Texas time) and gone all day. (The noise I heard was from outside, not the interior work). The room was very comfortable, clean, & well setup. The lighting and art were nice and I appreciated the piece of art as a welcoming gift. If I could change one thing it'd be to add soft motion censored under cabinet lighting in the bathroom (for night time). I had a connecting room with my Sister's family which was a gem to open that door and have the kiddos come in and for sleep overs! We could see the park from the room which was neat at night time for the light show and was exciting for my nephew to see staging area for parade with the characters when we took his sister back for a nap. Outside pool and lounge areas were so nice! They had shuffle board & some other games along with multiple seating areas and fire pits/places. Hot tub, pool, splash pad, & slides were convenient and a nice place to just chill and rest after busy days at the Parks. We didn't get to see fireworks while there due to the wind. The small bytes snack & refreshment area wasn't open the few times we were there. The is also a gym & nice cafe area. The cafe has beverages and grab & go foods including charcuterie. Gift shop also on-site. There is a restaurant, Great Maple, attached to the hotel which is good for any meal of the day or just winding down with an adult beverage at the end of a long day. Super convenient access to the park. Easy parking in garage. Very walkable to Downtown Disney. We will keep great memories from our time at Pixar Palace and Disneyland for a lifetime.

Yelp
Stayed here this past July 2024. Never experienced this hotel when it was Paradise Pier, so I won't be able to compare it to the new renovations, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Easy walking distance to DCA, just need to cross the street and enter through the side of The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Make sure to check which days are early entry during your stay so you can plan accordingly and take advantage of your early hour! Guests start lining up around 7am, so definitely expect to head out of the hotel by 6:45am. Everywhere we came across in the hotel was 100% themed to Pixar, it was so awesome! The lobby, the gift shop, and the restaurants all had Pixar decor and paid homage to their films. Disney is pretty good at keeping their magic present throughout all their hotels, and Pixar Place Hotel continued that tradition! No issues with cleanliness or staff, everything was to our satisfaction. Would recommend staying here at least once to give it a try and will most likely stay here again in the near future!

Yelp
Honest review time, I didn't stay in the hotel (but I wish I did!) But I have eaten at Great Maple here twice recently. And both times were a dream come true. Great Maple is a chain restaurant, so it's not a Disney exclusive restaurant. BUT, there is still a ton of Pixar art inside so you feel right at home. I highly recommend the ribeye sandwich, but they do run out of it on a busy night so kindly ask. But as far as the hotel common areas, it is really what Pixar dreams are made of. Mini sculptures of the OG's, Nemo, Incredibles etc look really cool on the display cases. And the massive Luxo Jr. lamp they have at the entry inside is a major photo spot! A hotel with an actual Joe Gardner playing piano and Hiemlich themed couches? Yes please!! It's still under some contruction (at this time) so the hotel is not super busy yet. Parking structure is right behind the hotel and literally a 2 minute walk in, leaving is just as fast, that's a literal dream of a situation at the Disney resort. Still feeling adventurous? Disneyland Hotel is a 7 minute walk away, all on the same side of the street if you want to experience some more Disney!

Yelp
I was amazed at everything within Pixar Place hotel, from the staff to the rooms and views. I was supposed to stay in 2020 and completely lost that hope when everything shut down. When I heard they were redoing it, I jumped at the chance. Ive stayed at all three Disney hotels and have found this one to be my absolute favorite and this is why - Most themed - everything from the Carpet to the light fixtures. The music to the themed food. There are hidden Pixar in everything and where you go! Location - literally across the street from a hidden, exclusive DCA entrance. We clocked it in at 10 mins from door to door and took us out by Goofys Sky School. Can't get much better for the value price. Cast - walked us and showed us around. They love where they work and it shows. Super helpful and courteous. Club Lounge - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks included. While it still feels a bit bare, it was nice to have that option, especially if your kids aren't big breakfast eaters like mine. View - We had a view of world of color from our room. Better view than in the park and with the music too. At night, you can go to the pool deck and watch the fireworks. This hotel has it all, and for the amenities that you get, it's cheaper than others just across the street. We will be staying time and time again when we come back to CA from FL. Definitely a must do!

Yelp
We had a fantastic time during a one night stay to celebrate our son's 10th birthday. We were pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to check in via the Disney app which we also used as our room key and pool/gym access. We were notified our room was ready about 10am the day we checked in. We chose this hotel as it was the more budget friendly of the three Disneyland hotels. We stayed here last summer before the rooms were all renovated and can say they definitely did a fantastic job with the renovations of the standard rooms. I would definitely prefer this hotel over the Disneyland Hotel when it comes to the room. The pool and splash pad area is very cute and cozy. Definitely better for little ones but the Disneyland Hotel has a much bigger pool. It was nice that we stayed during a not so busy weekend as the area was pretty empty. We didn't try the new onsite restaurant. They had one shop for souvenirs and drinks/snacks that closed at 10pm. We just wished they had a vending machine since we came back late after fireworks and were thirty.

Yelp
Unfortunately I wasn't a guest here but through tik tok, I found out I was able to check out the lobby, the restaurants and the sketch pad cafe. The lobby was so cute I love it. The barista Stephanie took my order. Sweet person and I noticed she was multi tasking. She took orders from the customers, made the drinks/ warm up the food items, and call out people's orders. I ordered the build your own cold brew with caramel syrup, whole milk with rainbow glitter. Super cute drink, it's pricey but I had a magic key for a discount. I'll go here again one day :)

Yelp
Place was newly remodeled and everything looks well decorated. The staff and cast members were superb and made everyone felt welcomed. Some floors and areas were still under construction, but we didn't hear any noise in our room from that. However, the noise from the room next door was horrendous. We could hear everything, and they weren't loud, it's just the connecting room setup and poor sound proofing. The pool looked really fun but we didn't get a chance to try it out. Bing Bong also shows up every now and then at the front lobby to greet guests and take pictures. Location is great for DCA since you get your own "secret" entrance to the park and it's a pretty short walk and basically no wait. To Disneyland it's a bit further, either go through Grand Californian or go out the back exit and go north to the west entrance. The fitness center looks pretty unused most of the times I went. They provide some simple snacks and fruits early in the morning, but doesn't seem to be replenished throughout the day. This is a pricey hotel, if it's worth it varies per family. I think the biggest perks are the proximity to the park, and early entry. If you can't make use of it, might as well save some money.

Yelp
Had a lovely time at Paradise Peir. The staff was overly friendly, greeted up front by valet, Dale, who was very kind assisting us with self parking. Started off our weekend with a warm welcome. Any questions we had there was always someone around to help us. We had dinner our first night at the hotel restaurant. It was beautiful and really pretty. They had pictures on the wall of woody from Toy Story and other characters that reminded me of childhood. This place gave me such homey, comfortable vibes. Only a 5 min walk to the park, literally.

Yelp
Love this hotel and staff. Also secret entrance into California adventure is a plus! Definitely worth the extra money to stay here

Yelp
I loved our stay at the Pixar Place Hotel! I haven't stayed on Disney property in a VERY long time. I think the last time was actually in 2005 when it was still the Paradise Pier! I am a frequent Disneyland-goer, and have been to a LOT of the hotels surrounding the area. This was definitely a 5-star stay! The updated renovations were so nice. The tiny details in all the floors and rooms was so fun and exciting. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms roomy and pristine, and the staff was kind and courteous and so so nice to us. It was also nice to be able to leave our car after checkout and not have to move it to the dreaded parking structure. The private entrance made this stay so worth it, there were only 15-ish people with us and we were the first people to get onto the Incredicoaster for the day. And when you're done with day-two Disney feet at 6pm, that short walk was the greatest part of my day. I will say, it was expensive. It was about double what I would usually pay staying at the other local hotels. But to not have traffic in and out of the park, a private entrance, a themed room, and staff who actually care about your experience? I think it was worth it. Could I afford to stay here each time I visit? No. But would I let myself splurge on it once a year or so? Maybe!

Yelp
The elecators ruined our entire trip. So congested we missed early entry to the park which was the whole reason we stayed here. Customer service did NOTHING after several mentions of the problem. Not worht it as they are a liability. They basically trap you on your floor with completely full elevators at all times of day/night .. then has the audacity to lie and say some of the elevators were out of order when in fact they just dont work and trap people. Terrible on every level.

Yelp
With the beautiful remodel, I feel as if this hotel has finally stepped up as a Disney hotel. I love the beautiful Pixar theme throughout the hotel. The artwork everywhere is spectacular and well done. Including the stair case to Heaven. Mostly known as the "Soul" staircase. Disney does so well with the details. This hotel has a cafe and a store inside. Along with a restaurant that I do not recommend. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Yelp
We loved this hotel! The entrance was so fun and my kids love the Pixar lamp photo op. Great gift shop and we enjoyed the coffee shop and the snacks by the pool. The room was really nice and clean and cute Pixar touches. The pool and slide were such a fun activity for the kids to burn off steam and cool off. This hotel is a 5 minute walk to Disney CA with the private entrance and 10 min walk to Disneyland. Another bonus was seeing Bing bong in the lobby and Joe from soul playing the piano! Highly recommend staying here!!

Yelp
Okay. I have a lot to say, so strap in if you're reading this haha! I made sure to research as much as I could because Disney is a luxury we may not be able to afford again. TLDR: great staff, thin walls, fireworks viewing, Bing Bong, convenient, highly recommend. We've never stayed at a Disney hotel and they do cost a pretty penny but the Pixar Place has given us so much! We (party of 5, 2 adults 3 kids) stayed for 2 nights and upon check in, the person who helped us was so attentive I'm so sad I didn't catch their name but he made sure we knew where everything was. On the first day we checked in at 9:00AM and got onto Goofy's Flight School by 9:12. That's how close to the parks you are. And Dale at bell services was especially sweet and enthusiastic, he definitely inspired the kids with more energy when they were exhausted. The entrance to DCA is the most convenient thing I've ever come across, I'm so sad about losing that perk if we come back and stay at a different hotel. The kids were pretty jet lagged so being able to go for early entry, go back to the hotel at 1pm and only walk 5 minutes to get into the middle of the park and then back into bed? Was a godsend. We were able to ride every single thing before 1pm and come back for World of Color. Then to get into DL we walked around 10 minutes and got into the main entrance. We got a standard room so no view of the park but we got great views of DCA coming out of the elevator! They also have a fireworks viewing party on the third floor (which is also where the pool is) which I highly recommend for smaller kids and some older folk who aren't too keen on going into busy crowds, standing the entire show, loud noises, etc. you won't be able to see the castle and there are some palm trees blocking some fireworks but I think it's a great introduction for little ones with sensitive ears as the fireworks and music aren't as overwhelming as in person, plus you don't have to deal with Disney crowds. But back to the room, we had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed only fits one person and the queen beds weren't bad. Everything looked quite clean except our closet was a little dusty but you get a coffee machine, hairdryer, the essentials basically. Extra pillow and blankets are sealed in the closet for you to use. I think the room does the best it can with the space provided but it's obviously not the height of luxury. Outlets are in the center of the beds and on the far sides of the headboard. You also get a cute piece of art from one of the designs shown on the hotel wall. We got the Up art. Currently there's a lot of Inside Out perks your kids (or you) might like, right outside the villas is where the "exhibit" is, which features some concept art and models. Bing Bong also comes out to take photos if you can catch him at the entrance of the hotel. The Sketch Pad is a nice cafe with soothing lofi Disney music, great place to do some work before the park opens or after the park once your kids are passed out on their beds. Now some cons, I'm sure a bunch of people have mentioned this but the walls are thin. We were blessed with a floor (shoutout to floor 13!) that understood this because everyone was quiet the entire time! We had some excited giggles or exhausted whines from people walking down the hall but overall, it's super easy to get some peace and quiet. Our kids are heavy sleepers too so it wasn't a problem at all. They did have a slip of paper mentioning that fire alarms were being tested but we didn't hear any during our stay. Other con is most if not all the water and ice machines were out of service when we were there. Trust us, we went on a scavenger hunt on every floor for water and returned empty handed. But, if you've read this far, a little tip is to go into the gym! They have a teeny water dispenser and small plastic bottles in limited supply. Please please please be a kind person and not hog all the water during these trying times, while you wait and pray that there's still water in that little machine, you gain a sense of camaraderie with those who share this secret watering hole in the desert that is this hotel Extra tip if even that machine is gone, you could just drink the tap water, it's perfectly safe. But if you've got fussy kids who would rather die than drink water with that special Anaheim tap taste, the GC resort is only 5 minutes away and has working water stations.

Yelp
After brunch at the Great Maple, I walked around the hotel and got mesmerized with the cute displays, walls, statues, mobiles, etc. If Pixar land exists, this is exactly how it would look like. I haven't checked in the hotel but everywhere I go, I have been greeted by all the employees with a sweet smile and friendliness. If I had a great experience just by visiting, I can't even imagine how amazing it would be staying at the hotel. If you have a chance, come and check this cool place out.

Yelp
Booking this hotel was a major mistake. We thought we were spending the extra money for the experience and for the convenience of being close to the park if we needed to take a break and return, but it was a major mistake. There is no stair access to rooms and elevators constantly are broken down. We forgot some things that we wanted to take to the park but going back to the room is not practical so you're just kind of stuck. When you go to the elevators, you stand around for 20 to 40 minutes. All of the employees just act like nothings wrong and don't even wanna make eye contact with you. One time out of four days the staff member came to help us and they ended up having to take group of us up to the service elevator because the three elevators they have were not working. I saw a mother with her baby and a stroller coming out of one of the elevators and everybody not to go in because she was stuck in it for 20 minutes in the in the heat and it didn't go anywhere.

Yelp
The Sketch Pad cafe is a nice quick pit stop before hitting the parks. Coffee and London Fog were great. The brownie was amazing. They also play Pixar shorts and the lobby music is different Pixar movie songs.

Yelp
I had the greatest time at this hotel! Sure it's a great hotel to stay at if you spending one night in and it's not expensive! I think it was $400 something a night. I sadly didn't have chance to go in the pool but I love the inside and details they put into this hotel the little secrets at every step of the hotel! I loved the middle of the lobby! The cast member who worked there something started with an E was really nice she and I talked for a bit then she gave me a rice crispy treat and some birthday stuff too, which was really was awesome! The view was great from the room to see DCA in the distance each room was unique and different and also had the best view deck for seeing fireworks at Disneyland! However the food is expensive at Great Maple I didn't go to and or the Cafe but the Shoppe the gift shop inside the hotel is cute and good for the kids! Also you can meet Bing Bong form Inside Out only at this hotel he either in the lobby or on the pool deck level near the same place where you see the fireworks from! However at night you might intentionally have a noise or two either being the elevator going off or noise through another room behind or in front of you. I'll be back again for sure! It was definitely a lot better than Paradise Pier!
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
I never stayed here, but I was here to eat dinner at the Great Maple. Besides dinner, I just had to come here to check out the remodel from Paradise Pier to Pixar Place. In short, the hotel looked great! When I was there, they had Bing Bong at the entrance greeting people. I was able to snag a quick picture with him and check out the STOR-E before my dinner reservation. If I weren't local, I just might have to spend the extra money to stay here! While I was walking to and from this hotel, I did notice that the cost for parking was insanely high! $40 per day for registered hotel guests and for non-registered hotel guests, it was $40 for the first hour and $10 per hour after that. Yikes!

Yelp
My first time staying at Pixar Place Hotel and I was very impressed. This is one of the Disneyland Resort hotels on property but it is very different than Grand Californian or Disneyland Hotel. It is very small in comparison, it's more like a small hotel chain in size. The lobby is small and full of very friendly cast members ready to help you. The atrium has a very special treat, Riley's imaginary friend from Inside Out, Bing Bong and he is so fun to interact with. There's also another character to see in the late afternoon Joe Gardner from Soul, he plays the piano and talks with you. It is so fun to have exclusive experiences like that at this hotel. Anyone can come and see them as well as get some coffee at sketch pad cafe or dine at Great Maple, and the Small Bytes pool bar. I enjoyed snacks and meals from them all. The room has everything you need and it was so nice to stay at a freshly remodeled hotel where everything is in perfect condition. The room has a beverage cooler, coffee maker with coffee and cups and sugar and creamer. There was complementary art to take home if you want and great little touches of Pixar theme. The remodel was inspired by the Bauhaus or de Stijl art and design movement, very clever being that Pixar's logo is blue yellow and red. I enjoyed the pool and splash pad located on the third floor, which I could see from my standard room. The Small Bytes bar delivered our order poolside. If you just want to visit the hotel pool bar there are games themed to Pixar that you can play while you eat. This is also fireworks viewing for hotel guests at night. The absolute best part of staying at Pixar Place is the exclusive walkway to Disney California Adventure, this makes it all worth staying here. This means you have your own security check, no long lines! You pop out in DCA by Seaside Souvenirs and you are in! You can also use your key to get in to Grand Californian gate. This is part of the Disney bubble making everything so close and not losing any magic.

Yelp
We stayed her about 2 weeks ago as first time guest. I liked how everything was Pixar theme. My youngest daughter couldn't stop asking about the meet and great with Bing Bong in the hotel. This hotel brought the inner child in me while staying here. Hotel was very nice and clean. We stayed on the 12th floor with California Disney Adventure as our view which by the way is beautiful! The swimming pool/deck area is nice. I like how it provided the water play area that my 1 year old could enjoy and they also have a water slide that my 4 and 13 year old enjoyed and was able to go on multiple times. Nice clean pool and big enough hot tub. I enjoyed eating at their restaurant downstairs. I also enjoyed that it's super close to CDA and we had our own entrance to the CDA park. The only complaint I had was that the 2nd day of our stay, my 1year old had a really bad blow out on the bed that morning. However it left a big mess on the bed that the whole bed set/sheets needed to be replaced because it leaked through the sheets. That same morning right before my son had an accident on the bed, I had called for extra towels. When they delivered the towels we told them what happened and that we wanted housekeeping that morning. They asked what time, and we said we should be out of the room by 9am. A few minutes later we got a call from the front desk and was asking if we received our towels we asked about. I said yes we received our extra towels and I told tell them we are requesting housekeeping that morning because of my son's accident on the bed. They confirmed that it would be taken care of. That morning we left and came back a little after 1pm almost 2pm to rest but when we entered our room, housekeeping still has not came and cleaned our room. Because it wasn't taken care of, when we walked in the smell was strong because of my sons accident and on top of that my little ones were not able to rest because now we had to leave again for them to finally clean the room. When we returned the housekeeping dept apologized for the inconvenience and also decorated the kids bed with cute pictures my kids can color on, and decorated with Pixar theme decor. At that moment I felt that they were really sorry for not taking care of it right away. Finally we were able to relax before heading back out to Disneyland. It was a nice experience staying at one of the Disney hotels. I would come back and stay here again. Hopefully no more accidents on the bed next time! lol

Yelp
We stayed at The Disney Paradise Pier Hotel, for my daughter's fourth birthday , this hotel is a convenient option for those looking to be close to Disneyland and California Adventure. However, the ongoing construction and renovation detract from the overall experience. The best part of the staying at hotel is its location, as it is within walking distance to both Disneyland and California Adventure, guests can enter the parks 30 minutes early, by being a hotel guest. We opted for a Premium View room, which provided a great view of California Adventure and the World of Color water show at night. However, the feature that used to allow guests to hear the show's music and sound through a TV channel was unavailable during our stay. The rooms are nice but nothing special, and for the cost, some guests may feel that it does not justify what they are getting. The makeshift check-in area and lack of restaurants and functioning pool also detract from the overall experience. Unfortunately, the parking situation is not ideal, as there are no elevators or escalators in the parking structure, making it difficult for those with small children, strollers or mobility issues. To unload your vehicle, you have to park on the first floor, and a bellhop will help you. However, there is no ATM located in the hotel, so it's awkward if you don't already have cash to tip the bellmen that help you. On the positive side, the hotel offers a fitness center, also a snack shop where you can buy snacks, but it's a self-automated area with no cashier. They also have a fitness center that doesn't look that inviting; it has weights, cardio machines, and benches. Nothing fancy, no frills. There are also no food or restaurants in this hotel because of construction, and the pool is not functioning. They do offer free delivery from downtown Disney if you want to order food. You can use the pool at the Disneyland Hotel next door or across the street at the California Grand. We did use the Disneyland Hotel pool, which was also was great to grab a drink and food poolside. They do provide a golf cart service that will drive you from this hotel to the Disneyland Hotel pool. The Disney Paradise Pier Hotel is an okay option for those looking for a convenient location. With the ongoing construction and renovation, it is not the best value for money at the moment. When the hotel is complete, it's supposed to be named the Pixar Hotel. I hope it will live up to the expectations of being a Pixar hotel brand. I would say that if you're looking for a hotel that is close to the parks and are willing to put up with the construction and lack of amenities, then this hotel is an okay choice. However, for the price, I think there are better options out there. One can only hope that when the hotel is completed and rebranded as the Pixar hotel, it will live up to the expectations of being a Pixar-branded property.

Yelp
Cleanliness 2 Cost 3 Cuisine NA Customer service 4 I wanted to stay in this hotel before it goes through its renovation. The outside looked nice (already being renovated) but as soon as i took the elevator up to my floor that's where the "nice" vanished. it was old and smelled like an "old folk's home." The carpet was old and dingy. Our stay was 3 days there and 40% of the time our room smelled like sewer. I didn't complain as we were at the parks most of the time vs our room. This hotel is old and needs a renovation bad. Unless management contacts me to offer a better room then we will not stay here ever again and I advise you not to unless you are looking for a cheaper stay at one of Disney's hotels. We did have a good view of California Adventure though... That was the only positive thing there as well as all the workers were super nice.

Yelp
I really enjoy staying at this hotel at the Disneyland Resort. It is the cheaper option of the three Disney hotels, and I feel like the price of staying here is worth the perks. The hotel is right next to California Adventure Park, and guests get their own path into the park. Staying at the hotel also gets you early entry, an extra half hour before the normal opening time to both parks. It is a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney as well, and to get to Disneyland, you can hop on the monorail in the downtown area, which opens for the Early Entry guests close to 7:30am. The room is cozy, the beds are nice, and it includes all the amenities - fridge, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. The employees are very helpful and friendly. They have a marketplace downstairs that has coffee, various drinks, breakfast items, and snacks so you can grab & go. They are currently doing construction to turn it into a Pixar themed hotel, but they have made it so it is easy to get around. The lobby is currently located in a conference room plus the pool & restaurant are closed. Guests can use the pools though at the other hotels, and there are a lot of dining options close by in Downtown Disney. My only complaint would be that the elevators are slow, but overall I really enjoy staying here. I will be back and look forward to seeing the new design!

Yelp
We were planning to visit Disneyland and return home the same night. We were also planning to be at Disneyland ALL DAY. I knew we'd need time to rest so we booked this resort and stayed for an impromptu visit from September 8-9, 2023. It was for my little girls 7th birthday! The front desk cast member was fantastic. She gave us a lot of info about the resort and when we told her we were celebrating she gave us birthday pins. She also gave the birthday girl a marshmallow, Oreo Rice Krispie treat. It was delicious. This resort is across the street from The Grand Californian Hotel. This resort got a pretty good face lift a few month ago. It looks a lot different than the last time we stayed here. It's getting inspiration from Pixar and looking so much nicer than before, but it's still in the refurbishment stage. There's also the Early Entry of 30 minutes into Disneyland because we stayed at a Disney resort. We just had to show our reservation as we were entering Disneyland early to prove it. It was cool to get on some rides and it was even cooler to see the regular admission people take off once it hit 8:00am! Wow, it was a sight to see. We love the Disneyland resort hotels! We enjoy the convenience to the parks. When we need to go back to the room to rest to get our second wind before heading back to the parks, this is great. Our room was nice and had a view of the fireworks and CA Adventure. We are looking forward to the final remodel reveal. It cost $611, including Self Parking for 1 night. Convenience is key for us. We will return to try out the pool and other amenities next time!

Yelp
I checked into Pixar place on Friday (8/2). Our stay has not been great. First issue came with checking in. We got our room keys and headed up the elevator. The elevator situation is terrible. They only have 3 working elevators that run off of a iPad. There are no buttons inside the elevator, only a tablet that is on the outside of the elevator. It assigns you to elevator A,B or C and that elevator will take you to your floor. You can imagine the issues that brings when it's the weekend and it's packed. Everyone was going into the wrong elevator, ignoring the assignments they got. When we finally got up to our room, our keys did not work. We had to go back down to the front desk and have them fix our keys. Then we had to go back up to our room to drop our luggage off. Our room felt hot in the beginning but it was easy to figure out the air conditioning. We just had to leave the fans on and not let it cycle on auto. So that was a easy fix. The tv system is terrible here. I hated Disney on demand. I have Disney + and my daughter loves watching it. She was not able to watch it on this vacation. Chromecast is a terrible app that constantly glitches. You have to mirror from your phone instead of signing into Disney+ on the tv. My phone did not work and I own a iPhone 13. I had several maintenance workers help me out over my stay. Christine was able to help me at 11pm on Friday night. She was a saint even though she couldn't get the tv to work. She tried her best and suggested I call the front desk in the morning for maintenance to check it out. She is definitely a worker I would give a 5 star rating to. We roped dropped the park in the morning so we ended up calling maintenance around noon. They never came and we waited a hour. We ended up going to the pool and canceling the maintenance call. Then I called guest services once we got back to the hotel room. I asked for maintenance to come down and explained the issue. We waited for 90mins and ended up leaving. They never called or knocked during that time. We needed to get to the parks before the day was gone. Flash forward to 11pm, I just get back to the hotel. I have a baby that's tired and two teenagers that are going to want to stream movies. If I don't stream those movies, they will be disconnected this vacation and immersed into social media. Maintenance came in about 15 minutes and stayed for a hour trying to fix the tv. In the end, it only worked for the iPhone 15. I own a iPhone 13 and it did not work for my phone. I downloaded two apps, both were not specified to download. One Chromecast app was trying to charge my card $4 weekly to use the app. Maintenance couldn't understand why my phone didn't work but their iPhone 15 did. They ended up hooking up my cousins iPhone 15. I was finally able to enjoy one movie at 12am Sunday. We have to check out at 11am on sunday. I'm exhausted and maintenance left my room right before midnight. I went down to the front desk, asking about late checkout. I'm exhausted and so are the kids. Checking out at 11am seems daunting. They told me late checkout is at 12. The man who was helping me had to get it okayed by the manager. I saw him go over there and she shook her head no. I didn't yell but I got upset. I feel as if our stay has been subpar. It has not been great or had any Disney magic. The tv barely started to work 11 hours before checkout. The digital room key didn't work on my phone. The hotel elevator situation was terrible. She ended up granting me the late checkout, only when I asked for someone higher up. I felt ignored this trip and it's upsetting that we spent almost $3,000 on this vacation. She only gave me late checkout because I asked for a higher up- not because I had some one doing maintenance in my room until 12am. It's crazy how inconsiderate this feels and I'm not sure it's on par for the Disney image. Also upset because I spoke to a guest who was not staying on Disney property right next to our hotel. They only paid 1600, had more people in their party and got more days at Disney. They also got free breakfast and their tv worked. They said that they could sign into their account on the tv. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It is nicely renovated but that's about it. Some staff was helpful but others weren't. Would I come back to this specific hotel? No, I would not. I would rather stay at a budget friendly place that actually has working amenities.

Yelp
I can't wait to see the new renovations when they're done. We stayed in the half that was not yet updated, but had a beautiful view of the World of Color show. We watched from our room, with the audio feed available on the TV. I wish the bathrooms had vent fans, because one shower fills the room with humidity. AC works great, beds are comfy. Pullout couches are nice if you have a big group. You get early park access as well of course. Staff is friendly, I love the new Pixar theme!

Yelp
To be honest, I was expecting more. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was just ok? It was fun to send our expenses to the hotel and to get in early, but was it so cool that I'd stay here again? No. I just wasn't impressed with the decor here at all. I'm not sure what I've seen elsewhere but I was just expecting more Disney stuff everywhere. I would be willing to check out other places but I'll definitely be checking out pictures of the rooms online to see if I can find what I've seen.

Yelp
Most Memorable Staycation!! My family and I recently stayed at the newly remodeled Pixar Place Hotel. From the moment we drove in to our grand exit, the cast members were AMAZING! In our short stay there we felt like we were welcomed to the Pixar Hotel family! A HUGE shout out to Jerry for making our experience the best and taking the time to talk to us when you were available . Thank you as well to Donny for taking your time to talk to our family! The Hotel as a whole was a great experience. Very fun atmosphere, super clean, and once again great customer service!

Yelp
We had such a fun and memorable stay! Julie at the front desk went out of her way to make our celebratory weekend the best it could be. Room: newly renovated and keeps true to the fun Pixar theme and very spacious even with the king bed and the comfortable pull out daybed. Best part: being able to view the World of Colors from our room!

Yelp
I wanted to love this hotel but ended up just really liking it. Here's my breakdown: Strengths: 1. Great location! Easy walking to downtown Disney and Grand California Hotel (early entry access). 2. Room was awesome and spacious! 3. Pool and water slide were amazing! They also provided free bottled waters and popsicles. 4. Staff were amazing and friendly! Improvements: 1. There was NO elevator in the parking garage! Lugging the luggage and stroller were awful! 2. Never got my text saying my room was ready so I had to call and we checked in after 4pm which was disappointing. This was the only way I'd find out my room was ready without checking in the front lobby. 3. Outlets were not near the beds so I couldn't charge my devices close by. 4. Pool floor area was extremely hot and burned out feet! My poor kiddos! 5. Restaurants were still closed which was a bummer.

Yelp
We always stay at Paradise Pier, but with adding an additional child to the family last year we debated staying offsite to save some money. Ultimately we decided on Paradise Pier because of its proximity, and this last trip sealed the deal that it is worth every extra penny. Paradise Pier has the Disney magic, and then some. Even while under construction, the hotel was clean, beautiful, and had the most friendly staff. We decided to stay because our youngest is freshly one and we liked the idea of being able to cut through California Adventure if we needed to get to the room quickly or someone needed a nap. Upon entering, the staff excitedly greeted my four year old daughter and made sure to shake her beloved Bunny's hand (a stuffed animal she can't live without). When they found out we were there to celebrate her birthday, they got her a birthday pin and made sure to get Bunny an "I'm Celebrating" pin. One of the worker's pulled a strawberry shortcake Rice Krispie treat out of his pocket to give her, which made her so excited. A separate worker also grabbed an activity book and crayons as a small gift. We felt completely fawned over, and promised to never have the offsite conversation again. Proximity to the park can't be beat. You get to walk through the beautiful Californian to get to the Magic Kingdom, and have a separate minimal-wait security line to non-Disney hotel guests. You also have a semi-secret separate exit from the California Adventure theme park that takes you straight to the Californian. With two little kids, being able to get in and out of the park easily was critical. One day, we got to the Magic Kingdom to discover we left our carrier in the hotel room. Our one year old is squirmy and I didn't feel safe with her on the rides without being harnessed in. It only took us about thirty minutes to get back to our hotel, grab the carrier, and back to the Magic Kingdom. No big deal at all! This is also a huge plus at the end of the night when everyone is tired and wants to get back quickly. You can't overestimate how important it is to be able to get to your room quickly and easily. I am a loud and proud Disney adult raising two little Disney princesses, so our time at the park is precious. The Paradise Pier hotel honored that in every way and added additional magic to our trip. I highly recommend this hotel, and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Between reviews on TripAdvisor and horror stories from friends who have visited, we were expecting an overpriced Motel 8. But it turned out alright. Pros: 1. Location: Both Disney parks were an easy walk away, though you do have to go through another hotel, The Grand Californian, then Downtown Disney before arriving at the plaza between Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park. 2. Admission included with stay: It was a little tricky to access, but admission to the theme parks are included with each night of your stay. You must still make reservations for your visit. The people at the hotel helped us change our reservations in just a few steps, all within the Disneyland App (STRONGLY recommend downloading). 3. The water slide and pool are open! And the lifeguards move like sharks--constantly walking and watching, even in the shallow areas. 4. Windows that work wonders! Neither the sounds of the pool nor the nightly fireworks could be heard inside our room. Cons: There is superfluous technology all over the place that hinders rather than helps. Just getting onto the elevator requires entering your floor number on a touch screen, which then assigns you an elevator (A,B,C, or D). If you get on the wrong one, there are no buttons to push to go to your correct floor--you get out and re-assign another elevator to the correct floor... Or use the stairs, like you have to do in their parking garage. There are at least 3 levels to the garage and no elevators of any kind, touch screen or otherwise. Plus, the driveway between the garage and the hotel was closed off while we were there. So good luck walking your luggage, baggage, and stroller down the car ramps or carrying them down stairs. Once you finally get to your room, make sure the phone's Bluetooth is on because that's how we had to unlock our room. Not once did it work on the first try, which makes for a maddening and messy experience, especially when someone needs to use the restroom after a long, hot day. Take away the unnecessary complications, and you have yourself an adequate hotel.

Yelp
This is an overdue Yelp review from my stay back in early June of this year. A lot of reviews are mixed about this place but my family and I enjoyed our stay. We opted to get a room with a "view", which meant we had an angled view of DCA and were able to catch the World of Color show each night of our stay. I thought it was cool that their hotel room tv synced with the show because you're across the street from DCA but not that close to the actual show. They also have a synced audio for the Forever Fireworks show and you are able to go to the little area adjacent to the pool deck to see some of the fireworks. Is it the most ideal spot, no, but you're able to see some of it without the hassle of actually waiting for the show in person and in crowds. The self-parking wasn't a problem at all, we got in and out of the parking structure just fine. It is $35/day but we are staying at a Disney property hotel, we are shelling out the extra money for the ease of experience and for the location. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the fact that during peak hours, the elevators are impossible to use. They have a system where you push the button and then you're assigned a letter to which you will stand by your designated elevator to your room. Well for those who are impatient or even patient, if you're waiting more than four minutes you're going to push it again and when there's a large crowd just waiting it gets tricky. The other reason for 4 stars was because of the construction and their reimagining the hotel design, the restaurant was out of service for hotel patrons. They do let you know that you're able to order food from other hotels but it's not the same experience. I was pleasantly surprised that prior to booking our hotel trip, most of the negative reviews at the time were about their pool being closed. Even though you are welcomed at both of the other Disney Property hotel pools. When I checked in, the sweet lady at the counter exclaimed that the pool was now open! This hotel is known as "the cheaper" options of Disneyland hotel properties but even though it was more expensive than what we would have liked to pay for, we did it because my daughter is autistic and we wanted the ease of being close to the parks and walking distance away for all the breaks we would need to take during the day. This was her first trip to Disneyland and staying at this hotel was amazing for her and I'm grateful to the kind staff who were nothing but sweet and kind to her.

Yelp
This hotel is currently undergoing construction. I think all things considered, Disney did a good job trying to make this an enjoyable experience for guests. The lobby is moved to a conference room, and there are plenty of employees around to show you the correct way for check-in. The hotel even called me the day before as a reminder that I could check-in online without having to go to the desk. The location of the hotel is very close to both DCA and Disneyland. As a perk, hotel guests are able to walk to the other hotels for access to restaurants, pools, etc. The rate per night is expensive, but to be fair everything at Disneyland is expensive. However, it is really nice to be so close to the parks. Usually I like to come back to the hotel midday and just put my feet up. The room itself needs an upgrade for sure (ie more USB ports), but as I mentioned earlier the hotel is undergoing construction. Hopefully, there will be room upgrades as well.

Yelp
PIXAR HOTEL HAS ROACHES!!!!!!!! This was one of the worst experiences that me and my family have ever had. The suite was plus $600 a night and on the first night we saw a ROACH in the room!!! This was horrifying. We communicated with the front desk who offered to use housekeeping to clean the room. They also would not let us speak to a manager. Housekeeping came, and we saw three more ROACHES!! The hotel and staff did not accommodate any of this in the customer service response was terrible. We never heard from a manager, and we would never go back to this hotel! We have photos and videos of the roaches in out room and plan on escalating this to the Corporate office

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay here, everything was amazing, even got to experiences some Disney Magic. Got the chances to spend a mini Disney vaca with my fam - hub and my baby girl. Parking structure located right next to the hotel, upon arriving an hotel staff checked for our name on a list. I assume they get a lot people parking here when they are just going to the theme park? Price is $35 a night, no valet. There is a loading and unloading area. Bell desk is located inside, next to the check in area. Checking In: I got a friendly reminder call the night before arriving, reminding and letting me know that I can check in ahead of time on the Disney app, which is what I did. Deposit was $250 a night. They also let me know that they are doing some renovation at the hotel, which I already knew when I booked my stay (back in July). While I was at Disneyland, I got a text message around 1:45 pm that my room was ready. I was able to unlock my room door with my phone. My hubs was able to link the key to his phone as well. My room was spacious and clean with 2 queen size beds, really like that they had a small fridge with a tiny freezer. Bathroom had a bathrub which was very helpful when showering the baby. Room decor and design was a bit old, but I get it, it wasn't the newest hotel. All the hotel staff I encountered were super nice and friendly. But I do want to give a major shout out to Dale who I met at the Bell Desk on my way out, leaving. While I waited for my husband, he asked how our trip was, how old my daughther was, if she been to the park before, asked if we got the first time at Disney pin, which I told him, I tried both parks, zero luck, and he just surpirsed us with one. On top he gave us a few Disney themed luggage tag too. Beyond grateful and happy that we got to experiences a little Disney Magic with a cast member. It's the little things that made all the difference in the world. Perk: with hotel stay, you get to have early antry access, quick access to downtown Disney, you come right out the where Sephora is at, and thru Grand California Hotel you can get to DCA Noticed: that you can order food from downtown Disney to get it delivered as room service, didnt get to try it, but I def would next time Overall my experiences was good, I would recommend to stay here, it was the more affordable option for Disney Hotel.

Yelp
You know what they say about real estate: location, location, location. The hotel is located right across the street from the Disneyland theme parks, so right away, that's pretty prime real estate! You could almost stop the review there. But... It's really nice, honestly. The theming is a bit restrained compared to the amazing resorts down in Disney World (sorry...), but it's no less fun. It's a Little Mermaid theme, mostly, with a light nautical flair without too much frilliness. I think the kids will still get a kick out of a lot of it, though. The rooms are nice, fairly spacious for a hotel, though not overly so. Room to run around slightly, but not much beyond that. It's more than adequate on space, though. The decor is again beach-sea-themed, with big posters of famous Walt classics. We had "Going to the Beach" in our suite. I think our friends had Goofy's "Learning to Swim." It was a nice touch to bring back the olden days. I wasn't really thrilled with the color scheme and carpeting, though. The off-yellow had an aged unkempt feel, though I think they were trying to go for sandy? It might have been brighter a long time ago, but it just looked faded. The carpet was dark and nicely patterned, but it didn't have a lot of color going for it. Look for the "hidden Mickeys" though; that's always a thrill! The pool was fine, pretty shallow for the most part, but ideal for families with smaller kids especially. The waterslide was really fun, but it's not too fast until right at the end. The kids couldn't get enough of it, though, so it's more than great for them. (As a rather large adult, I went down without issue, so weight limit didn't seem to be a problem either). The restaurants inside the hotel were closed when we visited, so I can't really speak to the amenities too much. Firework observations were also closed, so not a whole lot going on activity-wise. There is a self-service sundries shop, though... novel concept, I guess... if you're very trusting! I will say that the staff was really excellent. As always, they tend to be the shining stars of any Disney experience, and these cast members were no exception. I always forget to jot down names, but let me just call out the entire concierge and check-in/out staff specifically for their helpfulness, cheerfulness, and awesomeness. Overall, it's a great place to stay that's walking distance from the parks and has enough other features to keep kids and parents alike occupied. Oh, and be sure to check out the lobby for whatever decorations are in season! We were greeted with a three-story tall Ursula around Halloween!

Yelp
Just book it! We are local and we've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and The Grand. Pixar totally exceeded our expectations! Beautiful hotel. Beautiful room. Everything feels brand new. Get the premium view - we overlooked CA Adventure and had a perfect view of the Colors of the World show!! It was so fun to see what that park looks like after / before hours, not to mention seeing the sunrise! The pool, splash pad and water slide are awesome (especially for our 6 and 8 year olds). The pool is a little on the small side but kudos to the aquatics management staff, that ratio of guards to people in the water was outstanding! Staff throughout the hotel gave a great Disney customer service experience. Joe over at the piano is so talented! Early access to the park is so much fun!! You can be super productive getting there that early. We had a blast. Thank you!!

Yelp
Wonderful ! Disney hotels always have great customer service , in Jan 2020 was our 1st experience at a Disney hotel.we have had Disneyland passes over 20 years . And in Jan 2020, pre CoVid shut down , we stayed to celebrate birthdays . My moms spouse had just passed in Nov/2019 , and she has been a Disney fanatic for decades . She loved it . Her and my son went to World of color show , we had a room we could see the whole show from our window , which was great . The hotel also sent up a cookies surprise to my mom for her birthday, which made her cry . Post CoVid , alll these variants, we hope to go back . I was gonna take her this year , for her 80 th , but CoVid too prevalent , right now ! But we WILL b back !

Yelp
Stayed one night. The staff were super friendly and got us checked in early. Room was adorable and looked over Pixar pier. Down side is it's a hike to get to the Main gates of the park and the monorail. Not the Hotel's fault. I do want to pay special compliments to Jerry, the concierge and George the bell-hop. They were so friendly and kind. George was even playing with my son to help him relax around all the strange people. You guys rock! I am definitely coming back to stay the next trip.

Yelp
I came to Disneyland to attend a seminar at the Convention Center. This is the cheapest of the hotels at Disneyland. A week before I came to the hotel I found out it was under construction and a lot of the services will not be available. But it was too late because the Disneyland Hotel was booked up. The hotel lobby was bare minimum. I felt like I've arrived at a motel 6. There was a small convenient store with snacks that's self serviced. It's got a good selection of snacks and coffee. There was nothing else on site. To get a simple breakfast I needed to walk to either downtown Disney or the other hotels. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint about the room was that the shower started hot and within a minute it turned colder and colder. First night was fine but starting second night it became really uncomfortable. I brought this concern to the front desk. Another complaint I had was that I went to get breakfast at another Disneyland hotel since there are no restaurants on site, I came back and housekeeping was turning over my room. I have not checked out. It was 2 hours from check-out. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I still had some stuff in my room. I don't really want people in my room without me being there since I had sensitive materials from work. Im not sure how that mistake happened. Again I brought up this concern to the front desk at checkout. Overall it wasn't a horrible stay but had some issues I can't overlook. The room was quiet and clean. If it weren't for the renovation, the water and them entering my room when they were not suppose to, it would have been a 5 star stay.

Yelp
Stayed in a one bedroom suite with an amazing theme park view. The room itself was so pristine and clean. That aspect truly lived up to the price tag. However, everything else was lackluster. The decor left something huge to be desired. It was way too minimal. And not eye catching enough. It didn't even feel like we were in a hotel at all. It felt like a tall office building. I've seen nicer hotel lobby's in embassy suites or majestic garden hotel. Not to mention the cafe closes way too early here. The pool slide closes early too. The hot tub is small and the pool is not heated, so it can get cold up there and the jacuzzi has a maximum capacity of 8 people. So expect to wait your turn. The restaurant at the hotel is great and I recommend it and the staff at the hotel is very pleasant and kind, so that's a plus! Would I stay here again? Probably not. I don't really feel the magic here like I did at Disneyland hotel. And they are very comparable in price, so I'd probably pick Disneyland hotel next time or just go with Cambria or the Hampton like I usually do. However, for a splurge, it was nice to try.

Yelp
Absolutely would stay here again! We loved the special entrance to California Disney. Not really good food options which was ok since we were right next to downtown Disney.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this hotel. There were minor cosmetic issues with our room 707; a broken toilet seat hinge and a broken body wash spout, but that didn't effect our experience. We were able to complete our check in online via Disney app. All I needed to do was show my ID upon arrival to retrieve my room keys (which also acted as a parking key for the self park garage). This was the only interaction I had with the front desk my entire stay. If you're going to California Adventures, I would suggest walking across the street to the Grand Californian Hotel and use their alternate entrance directly into DCA. You can also follow the walk way from parking to Downtown Disney and into the parks that way. The hotel as a whole is nice and clean. Elevators do not have key pads inside; only on each floor where a corresponding letter will pop up on a screen once designated floor is inputted. Noise level was at a minimum from hallway and conjoining rooms. Their pool area is great. Water slide, kiddy pool, main pool and hot tub. Life guards on duty make the environment and surroundings very calm and safe. I also noticed every morning they run their safety drills and exercises. Would consider future stays here.

Yelp
Never stayed here before but gotta say it was a great staycation. Our room was pretty clean and had a great view overlooking DCA. We could see the World of Color perfectly and a plus, the tv cues in the music. That was a plus since it was a hot weekend. Elevators here are pretty cool. You select your floor and it tells you which elevator to take. It helps with traffic and COVID protocols. The pool was a plus. They remodeled the pool deck but not sure what was upgraded. Lots of siting areas and also a firework deck which was cool. Unfortunately, fireworks were cancelled so couldn't take advantage of that perk. The slide in pool area was fun. Not scary, so little ones can enjoy it too. There is a cool store where you can buy snacks during the late hours or when you get back from the parks. There is a self check out where you can ring up your items yourself, since no attendant. Overall, great location and convenient to the parks. Early entry for hotel guests coming back to so def take advantage of that.
