Someone here really figured it out: a spot-on Neapolitan Margherita, a lively casual atmosphere, and that perfectly orchestrated combination of “intentionally scruffy” service with friendliness.
They capped the meal with an orange limoncello on the house — served with a knowing wink — and I’m convinced they mixed in something enchanted (not really, of course), because I floated out of there feeling unusually euphoric… and I don’t get tipsy easily.
There are plenty of excellent pizzerias in Milan - some even better than this one - but you can’t argue with the formula here. Everything just works: the vibe, the service style, the attitude, the pizza. It’s pure, effortless Milanese charm.
