What a beautiful little pizza! Great service, greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff. Free little starter and champagne given. Pizza came out so quickly! And it was delicious. Their chilli oil is top notch! Lovely experience and would return. Only one thing…make sure you go bathroom before you come here lol. They only have a floor toilet, effectively a hole in the ground!

Google
Recommend by a local to here. Love the pizza! Starter Garlic bread is tasty enough!! It was busy, walk in only so, make sure choose a not busy time here! The tiramisu is fantastic, but a bit pricey than other usual restaurants. Pizza’s regular price, and good Naples Pizza in Milano! Worth trying

Google
That place was really nice and original. The workers were also very kind. Finally the food. They had like 6-7 pizza in their menu but they seemed all amazingly good. I really love the pizza there. The dough was nice and fresh the tomato sauce was tasty and the cheese was melting like it was one of the best pizza I ever had.

Recommended by a local friend. Lovely little restaurant, not right in the heart of Milan but still very easy to find. The staff sometimes offer prosecco if there’s a bit of a wait (we didn’t get any since our queue was under 5 minutes). The food is superb, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Special shoutout to the chili oil—absolutely loved it!

Google
One of the best pizzas I had in Milan. I really liked the Napolitanian atmosphere and small appetizer before even ordering food! Cannot wait to come back! Pricing is normal when you take in mind that you are in Milan!

Google
Great pizza, best in Mediolan, you need to try it. Fresh ingredients, thin dough, definitely worth to come. Tiramisu to be skipped 😇.

Google
My favorite pizzeria in Milan. Good price, good taste. The line is always long but takeaway is instant. I love most the spring onion pizza. Every month I will come to them two days when I diet vege.

After first visiting around 8 years ago, this was top of my priority list to return to and it did not disappoint. Still one of the best pizzas I've ever had (if not THE best). The prosecco and small starter on arrival is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Neapolitan brick oven pizza made in less than 2-3 minutes. Seriously, that fire fueled oven had our pizza on our table in less than 5 minutes from us ordering to trying to eat it. They came out hot and steaming. We had to wait longer for them to cool down than it took for them to cook. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, and what did you get? Think fresh basil, think the smell of molten buffalo mozzarella, think tomatoes, and lastly freshly baked bread with a slight amount of char. You got it! That is Pizza AM! YUM! How did it taste? Delicious of course! The crust was perfectly chewy but for the chared bits which crunched and at times shattered deliriously as I chewed. H.S. looked up one time and laughed because she heard me shatter some. I laughed too! The sauce was one of the best I have ever had. It was simple, like it is supposed to be, just San Marzano tomatoes and maybe, just maybe a little garlic.Ypu know what fresh mozzarella a d basil taste like. Both were scantily places on top of the sauce, again like it is supposed to be. This was my first pizza in Italy this trip and only my second ever. The first was a zucchini blossom pizza in Venice. Which was better? Hard to say over a year apart. Pizza AM may have taken the lead here! I have to say it is hard to beat eating pizza alfresco in a square in Venice, but it might have just happened. The people here are much nicer than in Venice so maybe that clouds my judgement. Don't know..... I almost forgot to tell you that when we sat down we immediately were given each a glass of prosecco and an amuse bouche of Pometto Pasquale (I think). Nice touch!

Yelp
This was a quick stop for lunch. Scan the qr code and you get a quick and deliciously fresh pizza in minutes. Plenty of variety to choose from and its super affordable. Very busy lunchtime but they took time to make sure the Americans knew how to order. When done just walk to the front, enter your table number and pay. Most places you dont really need to tip as its not standard but we left our waiter a few euros as he was hustling that afternoon. Keep it in mind if you are from the US, tipping is very different from what were used to. We will be back before the end of our trip! BTW - none of the pizzas were precut. You get a fork and knife to work your way through. Its a dirty job but someone has to do it...

Yelp
Very fun atmosphere! We were welcomed with on the house glass of champagne! And ended with a complimentary dessert! Free is always good! Loved and enjoyed the chili sauce with the pizza! Highly recommend! I di

Yelp
Pizza AM is my favorite pizza spot in Milan. They just do everything right. I recently came here with one other person for lunch. It was busy when we arrived but they were able to sit us right away. Our waiter was ultra nice and made great recommendations and answered all our questions. They had about only 6 different types of pizza to choose from which made it a little easier for us. I appreciated the simple menu. To start us off they give you free delicious champagne and little piece of pizza. For pizzas, we ordered the Positano and Margherita. The Positano was their version of a white sauce pizza. It was our favorite of the two. The Margherita was also really good. Both pizzas went well with their spicy hot sauce which I recommend you asking for. The pizzas also went well with the white wine I ordered too. We spent $31 for 2 pizzas and 1 glass of wine. For as cheap as everything was it was probably our favorite food outing in Milan the whole time we were there. The inside is colorful, casual, and cute. The tables are small but it was enough room for us. Service was excellent. Pizza AM is located near the train station so it was easy to get to. I highly recommend if you want some pizza and have time to sit down.

Yelp
This was my first pizza stop in Milan. We had high expectations given the great reviews. Pizza was the think crust type and very light- hence we each were able to finish one pie each. Ingredients were simple yet delicious. Dough was slight salty with delicious chew. We didn't make reservations but were able to get right in without a wait. Upon sitting they brought 2 glasses of Prosecco and pizza bites as snacks. Absolutely devious at about ACG ~10 euro each. No civet charge here.

Yelp
Great service, good pizza if you like this style. I initially went into town due to the ratings here, I didn't go back, much prefer American style pizza, not impressed.

Yelp
We had dinner at Pizza AM before we departed Milan. We were totally blown away by the quality of the food and service. We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm right before its opening, and there were already 20+ people waiting in the queue, a tell tale sign showing its popularity. We each were given a welcome champagne and a small dish of sliced pizzas, and ended up with a in-house made melon drink. All were delicious. We ordered Margret and Al Procco, both were thin, juicy and tasty. Highly recommend and definitely will come back again.

Yelp
Menus are only in Italian. I got the special pizza with olives which the waiter recommended and it was delicious
google avatar

Yelp
Only waited 3 mins for the pizza. Unbelievable quality for 12€ pizza. It is a hidden gem.

Yelp
This pizza was phenomenal. The ingredients were so fresh. The meal came with a welcome champagne and limoncello to finish. The menu was a little confusing but the staff was very nice and helpful. Ask for the online QR code for help. The pizzas were very simple and delicious. Well done.

Yelp
Californian here. This is by far The best pizza ambiance in Milano. Love this place. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing. We placed our order to go, and it was done in about 5 minutes. The best pizza of our trip.

Yelp
It's the last night of our holiday and this is the best pizza of our trip! Very friendly staff!! I would come here all the time if I lived in Milan. Thank you so much for the great service! Till next time!

Yelp
When we approached the restaurant I was nervous because there was a line out the door and it seemed a bit chaotic to get added to the list, but the wait ended up being pretty short and absolutely worth it. I even noticed they sat families with kids first...which is great because no one wants a hangry kid throwing a fit while they wait to eat. This was one the best pizzas I've ever had and their customer service was top notch. I would travel back to Milano just to have it again!
google avatar

Karissa G.

Yelp
Pizza and service were amazing. I have to give only 3 stars, however, because they charged us for 10 pizzas when we ordered only 7! Also, the place was FULL of mosquitos (inside!) that were eating the crap out of my legs. You can tell the locals love the place, but maybe they don't get screwed on the bill since they're locals.
google avatar

Margo T.

Yelp
Best ambiance. Free drinks. Great pizza. And great service, definitely a staple in milan for a fun lunch or dinner spot.

Aurora O.

Yelp
amazing staff and amazing food. they gave us free wine and free pizza. such a fun atmosphere. definitely recommend

Yelp
Wow.... In my 3,000 hours of traveling Europe I've never seen such great customer service from a restaurant, especially from one of this price range. While you wait for your table they provide free Champaign and an appetizer they'll even bring it to you across the street in the shade. The pizza was fantastic and in my opinion the best pizza I've had in Italy and it was fast. If you're in Milan I highly recommend this establishment. Update: even got five free shots after we paid the bill. I'll be back.

Yelp
Great customer service from the manager/owner (not sure who he was but he was awesome and even took a pic with us). We were greeted with a glass of wine and a square piece of pizza. Complimentary wine with pizza!?! Yes please! We ordered the margarita pizza which was good. I wish it was hot instead of warm but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Once we were done we were also given complimentary shots of a flavored liquor (lemon or fruity). Luckily we got there shortly after they opened because by the time we left it was a line outside of several people waiting.

Yelp
Full disclosure, I am a carnivore and Pizza AM is purly vegetarian... But I still love it. We got Saturday morning before opening 12:15PM and was greeted by the most joyful and friendly owner. Upon entrance before you are seated you are welcomed with a small sandwich (arugula, cheese and tomato) and a glass of prossecco!!! Wow, this is amazing. Two tips, ask for their chili it's amazing, and their wine pours are very generous! All in all 100% it would have been 110% with some prosciutto or sausage but perfectly fine without.

Yelp
I'm currently waiting to get seated right now..but I just had to write a review because I've been to the pizza man location in Florence! It was seriously the best pizza ever!! ^ Whoops didn't get to finish.. I was seriously soooooo excited that they had Pizza AM (aka pizza man) in Milan. The service was impeccable. We were greeted by the owner with champagne and appetizer when we arrived. My boyfriend and I ordered a caprese pizza to share, but i ordered another one to-go because I'm obsessed..lol. The caprese pizza is light and seriously delicious. Def different from the pizzas here. After our meal, we were offered free shots. I spoke with the owner after our meal and was telling him how I had pizza man in Florence. He was so nice and offered us more shots! Seriously love this place. BEST PIZZZA EVERRRRR

Yelp
This place was excellent, what an experience! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with joy and excitement! The owner was handing out free slices of pizza to everyone that came in and a glass of champagne! My siblings and I were taking a minute to look at the menu and it was clear we didn't know a few of the words on it, so one of the waiters came over to help us and offer assistance. Very nice of him. The owner was goofy and had a big smile on his face, you could tell he was passionate about his business and his positive attitude was infectious! We took our pizzas to go and they were excellent so I can only imagine how good they would've been fresh out the oven! So delicious, next time I'm in Milan, I will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
Sitting in my hotel I pulled up Google and wrote "Best Pizza in Milan," to no surprised Pizza AM came up near the top and it was a block away from my hotel so I took a walk to try it out, I had high expectations considering the number of reviews this place has. I walked in and was greeted by the staff, handed a sandwich and a glass of wine which I returned back to them. Not only am I not really a drinker, but I also got flashbacks of the men trying to put Elephant bracelets on my hand at Il Duomo, and being from New York, no one gives you free stuff without finding a way to get money back later. The whole entrance experience made me feel so awkward I felt like I walked into a tourist trap, and being someone who speaks fluent Italian I was almost uncomfortable to the point I wanted to pull a 180 and walk out but I figured I'd roll with the experience. The menu is extremely limited, the pizzas on the menu are basically all the same if you look at it. I ordered a simple Margherita. The pizza came and I was extremely disappointed, there was so much water on the top of this pizza it was way too wet. The dough wasn't crisp and I had to tear it with my fork and knife because I couldn't cut it. So again, after this visit, I will no longer base any of my meal plans on reviews because I don't know if I caught a bad day or if the people giving this place 5-stars are hypnotized. This place also charges you $2-per person on your bill for no reason, so that's them trying to recoup the "free gift" you thought you got when you walked in.

Yelp
The pizza is very good and the staff is great. It's clear they care about their customers

Yelp
This place was an absolute delight and a must visit pizza joint when you are in Milan. This location appears to be the sister location to Piz. We decided to go to Pizza AM as it is a nice stroll from the central district. The wait was 45 mins but well worth it. The host was a happy Italian man that was dishing out Prosecco to everyone waiting on line. At this location, the majority of people waiting on line were Italian which is a good sign. As they seat you, you feel this raw energy of goodness and happiness. We were seated upstairs so we had a nice view of the operation, including the kitchen where the magic happens. The prices are ridiculously moderate and the menu is simple. The service is prompt so be ready with your order to keep things moving so that the 30 people waiting outside can get in. Pay it forward. :) Be sure to order the Margherita because it will not disappoint. See below pic for the amazing treasure. Cheese, sauce and crust all come together for the trifecta. I highly recommend pairing the pizza with a glass of red. Pizza AM receives additional praise for having a mix of latin music playing. Quite impressed with the Bachata, Salsa and Cumbia mix going on. Tasted several of the complementary shots on the way out as the bartender hooked us up. Try the pistachio flavor if you can. When in Rome.... The entire staff is thanking you on the way out that you feel like a rock star. Can't wait to go back. Chi vi diamo!

Yelp
Belive the hype! From the moment you walk in, you are handed something to eat and some champagne to drink, the staff is more than just friendly, they are quick witted and very cool despite it being an insanely busy and popular place. As far as the pizza goes, it is VERY good, and everything tasted really fresh. Best come right as they open, we were seated right away, but the line was out the door within 40 minutes. A unique restaurant for sure!

Yelp
Totally worth the wait. Pizza is outstanding. Service Is incomparable. It's as good as the best reviews say - actually,, I think it's better. My fav was the pizza with the smoked cheese and leeks.
google avatar

Debbie H.

Yelp
Amazing soft thin pizza with burrata cheese - the locals love it- this is their hang out. They brought us this delicious wrapped up sandwich like pizza that was so fresh- from the cheese to the crispy outside and soft center with arugula and cherry tomatoes, we also got a glass of their homemade prosecco -they just bring it out while you wait. They know how to make you stay for the wait, after this experience how can you leave? The best pizza in Italy. We also tried their artichoke pizza which was perfect, slightly salty not overwhelming at all. They have a sister store at piz, which we also tried and you get the same kind of service- consistent.
google avatar

Aaron L.

Yelp
Quite simply the best pizza I have ever had. I am vegan so I asked if I could have one of the pizzas without cheese. The waiter was very accommodating - not only did he say "no problem" to no cheese, he also offered to add some arugula and cherry tomatoes on top of the pizza. It was delicious. The crust was soft and bubbly, the tomato sauce fresh and beautifully flavorful. Perfect pizza.
google avatar

Tristan B.

Yelp
Delicious pizza from local owners. They speak multiple languages and are very friendly and open to tourists as well as locals. Seeing this mix immediately when you walk in makes you happy knowing the pizza is going to be great. The location is small but the restaurant feels like home with grandma making food in the kitchen. Bright and vibrant ambiance and in the end... the pizza is declined and incredibly priced. Would return again when in Milan... it was a pleasure visiting with my friends.
google avatar

Clara L.

Yelp
the service was excellent the line was wrapped around the block and the owner came out to hand out little samples of their pizza but the pizza itself was a solid 3.5 in my book im rounding up because the service was so fantastic

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Near the end of our Milan trip, we decided we needed to have some pizza and wandered over here to grab a bite. It was a bustling place, and there was a bit of a line-up, but we were treated to glasses of prosecco and pizza while waiting. Seriously. Best line-up ever. We were eventually seated in the upstairs alcove, and we noticed that there were several certificates for pizza championships decorating the walls. When we asked about this to our waiter, it turns out he was the owner and that he had won them - he was the pizza champion!!! And a very friendly and colourful individual to boot. While we were chatting, he told us about how he came to make pizza and how he sourced all of the ingredients for his pizzas locally and seasonally - from his cousin's cousin's friend's farm in the valley, sort of thing. He knew where every single one of the ingredients came from! It was so nice to chat with him. As for the pizza itself? We had the positano and the pometto pasquale, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. ZOMG. I wanted to eat everything on the menu, but 1 pizza later, and I was stuffed. The meal ended with complimentary shots of limoncello and meloncello. They left us with the bottles and it was an honour system. Such a great place, definitely a "must" while you're in Milan!
google avatar

Jordan R.

Yelp
This place knows how to treat its diners! In true Italian fashion they made sure you had fun and were well fed! The pizza was amazing some of the best I've ever had, but the atmosphere was incredibly fun. As soon as you walk in you get glasses of Prosecco along with an appetizer of pizza. I recommend getting there about an hour and a half before close to avoid a long wait. At the end of the meal make sure they bring out the digestives and give them all a try! Thank you for treating me and my friends like family as soon as we walked in the door, it was a dinning experience I'll never forget!

Yelp
This was the first supper I had in Milan. My friend studying in the city brought me here and really hyped it up as an incredible restaurant. He was right ! We got there and the place was packed (a great sign). The manager of the restaurant (Mauro) greeted us and told us it would be a 30 min wait. Seems long right, not really it actually flew by. While waiting you are given a piece of pizza and a glass of proseco. 5 min later we got another glass and then 2 more in the 30 min wait. Okay so the pizza, The menu is very small I think there were 5 pizza options. Which is pretty awesome actually. This place makes simple classic pizza and it does it to perfection. I got the Napolitana which is a margarita with anchovies. I can without a doubt say it was the best pizza I have every had in my life. Every ingredient tasted fresh and the tomatoes sauce was perfectly spiced. The crust was nice and thin but still crispy. After we ate it was time for limoncello shots ! Mauro kept pouring us shot after shot and we ended up having 4 each. This was one of my favourite suppers during my trip to Italy and the greatest part was it cost 9 euros ! If I am ever back in Milan I will be back here in a heart beat !

Yelp
Top notch service. The owner greeted us by shaking our hands and heading us a snack and offering free wine or beer. We wait approximately 30 minutes for a table for two. The owner came around multiple times during our wait offering more alcohol. Once seated the menu was all in Italian, however the waiter explained the menu to us in English and recommended pizzas. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and we were offered free limoncello afterwards.
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
SERVICE - The waiter was really fun and talkative to my group. I really enjoyed the glass of champagne when we were seated. I believe we got a free shot as well. A really fun atmosphere. FOOD - The pizza was really good. We tried three different ones. The margherita was my favorite. I honestly preferred Pizza AM's pizzas to Gino Sorbillo's. I'm sure there are some of you shaking your head in disbelief, but I mean it. Pizza AM had good sizes for good prices, made even better by the friendly staff and fun atmosphere. I would definitely stop here again when I'm in Milan.
google avatar

Christopher C.

Yelp
This is a small traditional pizzeria Fantastic Pizza, great service, good ambience. We were greeted with a handshake, a capreae appetizer and a glass of prosecco. I ordered the Margherita pizza and would highly recommend it! The ingredients tasted so fresh and the crust was so tasty and soft.
google avatar

Cheyenne Z.

Yelp
I love everything about this place from the decor, small town atmosphere, service, and especially the food. Don't be fooled like I initially was by the cheesy sign. At first sight I saw the sign and a line of people and red flags immediately popped up saying warning tourist trap. But at a closer inspection I realized that the long line were all locals. Always a good sign when choosing where to grab pizza. The wait was a little ridiculous but it more than made up for it by the possibly the friendliest owner of all time handing out a caprese sandwich and all you can drink prosecco to all outside waiting. Additionally don't be surprised at the lack of options. This is a small traditional pizzeria with a few options but trust me, you'll love them all. And last but not least, a complimentary lemoncello shot will always send you away with a smile.

Yelp
Wow! What a refreshing experience in dreary Milan. From the moment you walk in, until the time you (unfortunately) leave, you will have a fantastic time. Service, food, atmosphere are all amazing. The prices are great too. I went right after they opened and was greeted warmly by Mauro and seated immediately. Food comes out quick and hot. Wish I would have found them on my first not in Milan instead of my last.

Paul N.

Yelp
Mario, Anna and the Staff, Thank you for giving our Europe Vacation another place to remember. The service, food and atmosphere was incredible. We followed Mario's recommendation, and were very happy. The pizza is out of this world, and once your there, then the fun begins..buon appetito

Yelp
My expectations were extremely high given a huge recommendation from a local sandwich shoppe. Pizza tasted good not great. However, the free items (a small pizza sandwich, prosecco and after pizza fruit liquor) felt appreciated. I would give five stars however, I'm rating the actual pizza not the very generous hospitality.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
Phenomenal. The combination of the pizzaiolo who has won a bunch of awards and the front of house staff giving away slices of calzone and liquori after the meal wins. There were a bunch of people in line so I asked for pizza to go. By the time my pizza was ready, they asked me if I wanted to stay because they had an empty table upstairs. Above and beyond the call of duty.
google avatar

Anastasia H.

Yelp
Really great place in Milan to eat some pizza! You get a snack at the beginnig and the owner is really nice, even asking where you're and everything is warm and cozy here! I mean it isn't something unbelievable or special - but pizza can be really bad too. You'll get a limoncello at the end and the beer suggestion was perfect. Prices were okay. We came early and the place was already full.
google avatar

Melissa D.

Yelp
I know what this place gets an almost perfect rating- service, food, and atmosphere. You are greeted with a complimentary small 'pizza' sandwich and glass of champagne. I could have left just with the sample, but their warmth and welcoming personalities made me over look. The place is lively and crowded, but turn-over is quick. My sister and I shared a pie (about 12") with tomato sauce, basil, and garlic. The pizza came out very quickly. Only complaint is that the garlic was raw, and it stayed with all day. The crust was nice and thin with the perfect coal char on the edges. Side note- I don't think there was a bathroom.
google avatar

Kenneth Z.

Yelp
Best restaurant experience I've ever had! The owner treated us like royalty offering us free samples and free drinks! He truly made me and my group feel as if he truly cared about our experience at his pizza shop. The food was also to die for!! Every pizza we got was amazing and some of the best pizza I've ever tried! You need to check it out!!
google avatar

Charan S.

Yelp
Undoubtedly the best pizza you can have in your life! The ingredients are so fresh and the crust is so crunchy and soft. Do not miss this place if you are in Milan!
google avatar

Adrianne S.

Yelp
Omg. So good. I'll admit, the sign coming off the metro made me think this was some tourist trap chain - BUT it isn't! It was the BEST pizza we have had. In. Italy. I had the Margherita (best way to compare pizzerias in my opinion) and my husband had the Special - they were both great. A fantastic last dinner in Milan. Do yourself a favor and GO here!
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
A wonderful experience while stopping in Milan. The service- Great! The Pizza - Great! Mauro (sp?) welcomed us and allowed us to instantly love this place Jenny was our server and she did a great job. This is a must visit!

Yelp
Fantastic Pizza, great service, good ambience. Place is a MUST GO TO if you are in Milan. If there is a wait do not worry, they will give you glasses of Prosecco outside as you wait and slices of pizza (crust with cheese and basil inside). Good selection of beer, alcohol, and speciality pizzas! Truffle Ice cream was also fantastic.
