I visited **Pizza by the Bay, Marine Drive**, and the experience was worth it. The location itself is unbeatable – right opposite Marine Drive, with a perfect view of the sea that makes dining even more special.
I tried their **half-and-half veg pizza**, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The base was thin, crisp, and baked just right – not chewy or soggy. On one half, I went for the **classic veg toppings** (tomatoes, capsicum, onions, and olives), which had a fresh and vibrant flavor. The other half was **loaded with gourmet toppings**, with a rich cheesy layer, mushrooms, and bell peppers that gave a nice savory balance.
What stood out was the **quality of the cheese** – creamy, stretchy, and not too oily – and the **balance of spices and herbs**, which kept it flavorful without overpowering the freshness of the vegetables. Portion size is good enough to share if you’re not a heavy eater.
The **ambience** is calm and elegant with the sea breeze adding charm. Service was decent and staff courteous, though the place can get busy, especially in the evenings. Pricing is slightly on the higher side, but the taste, quality, and overall experience justify it.
✅ **Highlights**:
* Great sea-facing view
* Perfectly baked thin crust
* Fresh veggies & quality cheese
* Half-and-half option gives a variety in one pizza
⚠️ **Minor Cons**:
* Slightly pricey
* Gets crowded during peak hours
