Pizza Madre

I’ll give their flatbread with burrata cheese a 10/10 🤩 It is just perfectly done and a very good combination! Very interesting staff’s selection for us to try out their vegetarian pizza, this is our first time to try this type of place, so I just gave them a go. It was fresh and actually not that bad. But since I’m not a full vegetarian, so I would say that was a very new experience, and freshened up the night tho ☺️

Really great place for plant forward pizza. Crust was really nice and supple. I ordered the carrot purée pizza, wood fired puccia and charcoal olives. All were interesting and yummy.

We have driven past Pizza Madre hundreds of times but they were either closed or full. We were finally able to visit on a Saturday lunch slot. The yellow zucchini pizza was really good, nice chewy sourdough base, well balanced flavours with a hint of sourness. The gorgonzola cream pizza was a bit too sweet. The gorgonzola flavour was almost undetectable. The chilli oil on the table could definitely do with more fire. Overall, these pizzas were pretty decent, working within the vegetarian theme. But it is hard for me to not imagine how much the flavours would be enhanced with a little bit of meat. The seating was quite limited and tight, but everything looked neat even though the tables were quite sticky. Service was minimal but effective.

Great vegetarian pizza options, with very innovative and interesting flavour combinations!! We got the eggplant pizza, and the chard pizza as well as the lettuce salad. Pizza’s were great as they were delicious in their own right, without trying to recreate meat options. Only critiques were the salad was a bit too marinated, and could’ve used a bit less pickled onions, and the pizza bases were a bit too thin for our liking, however that is personal preference! Overall would definitely recommend if you want to try interesting veg pizza with a great ambience.

10/10 absolutely delicious!! Pizzas are bursting with flavour and the natural wine is to die for 😍 my friends & I aren’t vegetarian and I would pick these pizzas over anything with meat!

Literally the best pizza I've had! We had only vegans and vegetarians in our group and we ordered pizza as well as their snack with pumpkins and hummus that came with a sourdough Puccia (puffed bread). That snack was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. The pizza was also lip-smacking! I ate my leftover pizza cold the next morning, and it was just as delicious if not better!

Good experience for vegetarian pizza! Absolutely loved our entree (hummus with bread) The cheese on Magarritta was a bit chewy though, not sure why. Pistachio with zucchini didn’t seem to match in my taste. Mushroom was great! Service was good. Environment was nice 😊
