Pizza Pizza Wanaka

We ordered at the truck during a busy time and the wait was less than 15 minutes. Staff were super friendly and there was plenty of seating in the food truck area. The pizza is a little doughier than I’m use to, but it was tasty! I do think that’s why certain people say it’s undercooked, but it’s just a different type of pizza. We brought beer and drank and ate it the little food park area after a hike - highly recommend!

We had the garlic pizzabread but sadly there is no garlic being used. Despite it would be SO easy to make great garlic bread even preparing it for weeks by using fresh garlic and make garlicbutter... they use dried garlic granulate which burns in the oven so that it's brown burnt. Very salty and oily but no real garlic flavor, so sad.

Stop reading this review and get down there now. Best pizza in town, and in quite a few other towns. Proper hand stretched dough, real flavorsome ingredients, the woodfire adds a lovely and authentic taste. Tandoori chicken was insanely delicious. Vege was really great too.

It is always a treat when a food truck has a real pizza oven and knows how to use it. Excellent pizza in this food truck park. Perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. Seafood pizza has great flavors from all of the different ingredients. Looking forward to the next one I get to try.

This base was ok. But the garlic prawn were cheap shrimps, sauce tasted sweet, the rocket was missing, and then dumped on top when we returned pizza. The chorizo was tiny crumbs/ dots of something, but not restaurant quality chorizo . This was the worst $33 spent on food in Wānaka . Pizza could have been mistaken for a Dominos one. Choose one of the neighbours food trucks for some yummy food

Easily the best value for money in Wānaka. The slices are huge, the crust has a great crunch, and it’s way more affordable than other spots in town. Perfect for a quick lunch or a grab-and-go dinner by the lake. The pepperoni is a classic, but the peri-peri chicken is also a winner!

The meat lover pizza costs me 32 nzd, but it tastes super good and definitely worth it !!! Please add more chilli oil and chilli flakes on top of the pizza!!

Finally, someone in the South Island understands the importance of a proper sourdough hydration level. Most places in these 'quaint' towns serve flavorless cardboard, but the char and blister on this crust was surprisingly authentic. It’s almost on par with my favorite spots back in Auckland. ​The staff were actually quite efficient, which was a relief since 'mountain time' usually means waiting forever. If you’re visiting from the city and need a slice that doesn't taste like a supermarket frozen aisle, this is essentially your only option. Refreshingly competent for Wanaka
