I was desperate for a pizza, (I hadn't had a pizza in at least two months)
While I did not dine in, the decor and design was a modern twist on an classic Italian, with a neon sign for instance.
31 dollars, In my opinion is quite pricey for a pizza so I was sceptical it would justify the price.
While it was very good, it didn't quite justify the price for me.
The tomato sauce was lacking in flavour in my opinion, not any rich, tangy flavours, nothing really too special.
The mozzarella, while not bad quality, was exactly like the tomato in the sense of being good quality but not being that bit better.
The "Rocket" supposed to be on the pizza was more a salad mix rather than just rocket, not really adding that peppery, fresh kick that just having rocket would.
Where the pizza picks up in it's points is the stone baked base (a stone baked pizza always is a big pro for me.)
The whole pizza was charred just enough, the crust being not too doughy with just a slight crisp to it.
The balsamic glaze paired particularly well with the parma ham, the sweet tang complementing with the rich, salty ham perfectly.
Would I come here again?
Yes, but I would pick something different.
