Honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had since I started living in Japan. I’ve gotten tired of the Neapolitan style pizza and have been craving a proper New York style slice. This place definitely hit the spot and I was satisfied. Also the price of 550 yen per slice is pretty decent considering the size of the slice! Highly recommend if you’re tired of boring Japanese pizza.

Wanted to take a break from local Japanese food and decided to try out this place near Shibuya station. What an excellent decision we made to come here. The Pizza was to die for, the service was exceptional (never received table serve at store like this before), and the place was hopping. The Cheese pizza was Sooooo good for such a concept with great depths of favour. The Pepperoni and Mushroom were equally as good.

Google
Highly recommend this place. It’s a bit out of the way from Shibuya Station, but it’s totally worth it. The pizza slices are big but thin, and they have a variety of different toppings. The garlic knots are great too. Very delightful food and the atmosphere is really chill.

Homesick for pizza? Want something familiar, yet new? Then look no further, this place offers delicious, light and crispy slices of pizza. The sauce is lightly sweet and works so well with the simple toppings and cheese. We ended up have 4 slices (pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapeño, cheese), 1 chowder, and garlic knots. All of it was delicious, our personal favorite was the jalapeño, but I honestly believe there isn't a wrong topping choice. Arrived at 11am, no line. Lunch special of 2 slices + drink OR A slice calm chowder, and a drink. Toppings are as follows: pepperoni, Italian sausage, cheese, jalapaño, meatball, mushroom, and the daily special - panchetta and negi. ✨Bonus points for the classic TMNT merch decorative the store.

Google
Great place with good pizza 🍕 The inside of the pizzeria has a New York City feeling with TMNT and Hip Hop Artists as decoration. Pizza is also good, just the tomato sauce is a bit too sweet in my opinion. Nevertheless it is definitly worth a visit.

Google
The only reason I’m giving this place just shy of 5 stars is that the pizza could have been a bit fresher and hotter. I went at 9:40 p.m., just 20 minutes before closing, and unlike in the U.S., they don’t bake a new pizza just for one customer. You get whatever’s available, and that’s it. Which is fair. You are in Japan and that’s expected. That said, the ambiance was great. There were three or four young staff members working, and they were all very nice. They understand and speak English very well. The pizza itself tasted fantastic! As a vegetarian, I had three options on the menu: Cheese, Jalapeños, and Mushrooms. I only had time to try the Cheese since I had just 15 minutes to eat and finish my beer, but I’m definitely planning to come back to try the other two. For meat lovers, there are plenty of options as well. Definitely worth a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Google
Place is a bit far away from the main area of Shibuya but has a nice friendly atmosphere. Pizza itself was super delicious; huge slices, fresh out of the oven and marvelous cheese. However when we went there around 8PM there were hardly any left and we had to wait for the second slices which was a bit awkward. At such a busy hour I think they should manage the pizza inventory a bit better. Staff was nice and helpful though. Overall, a must visit for pizza lovers

Google
You can’t miss this spot if you’re in the area. The atmosphere and interior is such a vibe and the service is great! Food is amazing too! Pizza is freshly prepared and all tables are stocked with the classics of oregano, chili flakes etc! Feels like you’re in NYC! Loved it!

Yelp
My favourite place! recommend the french fries! Money is always well spent here. The soda is always super crispy. Lastly the pizza is DELICIOUS! always stop here whenever you have a chance

Yelp
We ordered to go a few slices and the flavor was super yummy for a good size slice. They are open late and have a variety of slices.

Yelp
After a long 2 week trip.in Japan we really just wanted a slice, after wasting our time at another Italian restaurant we walked 15 minutes to this one and had an amazing time. Ordered a slice of cheese, a slice of today's special (shrimp and jalapeno), garlic knots and a shandy gaff. It hit the spot and vibes were immaculate. 400 yen for a slice and just real good times. Perfect end to a long day

Yelp
Nice pizza spot we found on our way from Shibuya to ebisu. It had a really good take on a New York style pizza joint and it was just right there with a few subtle difference. Most notably less oil and dirt, which isn't always a bad thing. Pizza was delicious and by the slice and the sauce was a little on the sweeter side with a good dough. Nice garlic knots as well but needed a little more grease and fake butter to let the flavor sink in for that classic pizza shop taste. Overall a good Japanese interpretation of a classic American style of food that was probably 10x healthier for you. 4/5 would recommend to the American missing a taste of home.

Yelp
This place is a bit of a problem to find, and it's in one of the more "colorful" areas of Shibuya. Depending on when you come across this review, you'll have to scoot past several under construction skyscraper complexes. It honestly feels like, in a couple years, this is gonna kinda feel like Cyberpunk or Blade Runner, where you have 75-story buildings blocking out the sun, and then on the ground floor, you'll have graffiti-marked areas like this that are hanging on by servicing the rank-and-file. But, on to the main attraction, the food. Pizza here was good. This definitely wasn't like NY style pizza, but it could be NY Style Pizza - Japan Remix. When I've had NY style pizza in the US, and NY in particular, one of the defining characteristics of the pizza is that it can't hold up under its own weight. It becomes floppy, and you gotta fold it. Pizza Slice gets the size right, the amount of toppings right, and the thin crust right. But, the crust is too crispy. We had a kid with us, and she was able to fold the crust with one hand and chow down without having to do that thing where they're chasing the tip of the slice with their mouth and getting dripping grease on their face. If it's easy enough for a kid to master instantly, that's not the NY style I know. Aside from the Italian sausage (in Japan, any time you see Italian Sausage or even Chorizo, it's gonna look like small orbs that would be at home in a bag of kibble) all the pizza slices I had were fine. Meatball was seasoned with a sweet & tangy sauce, my friends enjoyed the Eggplant & Mushroom special, and the Jalapeno. We were here for dinner so, pizza had risen to 500-600 yen per slice, and if you're going to drink here, I recommend getting a beer. I got a rum & coke for 600 yen, and I just chugged that thing like a regular Coke. All in all, a pretty good spot, and if NY Style Pizza - Japan Remix becomes a common form of pizza, I ain't gonna be mad.

Yelp
The pizza had a decent flop. The cheese was pretty good too but the sauce was too sweet for my liking. It's a good pizza if you miss grabbing a slice like NJ/NY but the sauce wasn't it for me.

Richard B.

Yelp
What a great vibe. The pizza was great and as close to NY style you'll find in Tokyo! I'll go again for sure.

Yelp
If you're craving a slice of decent pizza in Tokyo, Pizza Slice is the place to go! Crispy thin crust New York style pizza without the grease. Cheese pizza is only ¥3, can't beat that price. Seating for roughly 40 people inside with an assortment of small tables for two and large tables and stools. For condiments, the cracked red pepper wasn't that spicy to me but good thing they had Tabasco! Sriracha would have been even better, but I digress. Cash only so bring the coins!

Yelp
This was really good. This place is pretty small with not much seating but it has a picnic style seating in the middle of the floor where a good amount of people can fit and sit and enjoy their meal. So if you are in the mood for New York style pizza this is the place to go get various topping pizza slices for 500¥ each. The cheese pizza is 390¥. They also sell ice cream, garlic knot, and claim chowder. They also have a bar where you can order alcohol. I had a jack and coke and it was pretty good. The service was good. You come in takeplace your order receive your food and then have a seat if you want to find some seating first that may be best if you plan to sit down inside and eat. To guarantee you a place to sit. I ordered the pepperoni pizza slice and a garlic knot which were both very tasty. I will be going back to slice pretty soon but will be trying the second location in Minato.

Yelp
It's kinda of a blink and you miss type place but it's anything but miss. Probably one of the top pizza places I've been in Japan. They serve the classic New York style pizza with a few toppings to choose from. If you need that American fix, then Pizza Slice should be on top of the list!

Yelp
I'm from New York so I was a little skeptical when we came to Pizza Slice as one of our first meals in Tokyo. However, the slices here stack up to the best spots in NYC. The thin crust is nice and crispy and the caramelized onion atop mine reminded me of a rich French onion soup. The aesthetic is also super dope and looks like it belongs in a hip Williamsburg neighborhood...which makes sense as it is situated in the so-called "Brooklyn of Tokyo" (at least according to Anna Wintour). That said, it manages to not be kitschy. It draws inspiration from the Off White clad denizens and rap music ubiquitous in New York while still maintaining its authenticity...probably because their customers are also hype beasts.

Yelp
I'm conflicted on the star rating for Pizza Slice. Though their slice is good for Tokyo, it's average and over priced too. If you're out of town/expat and craving a 5$ piece of heaven, it's the jam thou.. The vibe is cool, if you have a crowd (+4 people) you might have a challenge in finding a place to sit during peak times. (It's open seating) If you're in Daikanyama or Shibuya and looking for a slice, do it! lol
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
Pizza Slice a taste of NYC Pizza in Shibuya/Ebisu/Daikanyama area. Food I've been to this place a few times and can say it's gotten better each time. I've tried their plain and pepperoni slices and glad to say it's a nice reminder of NYC. Slices are a decent size thin crust slightly charred, with a thin layer of sauce and cheese. I personally would prefer a bit more sauce since it seems to get lost somehow. The cheese seems like a combination of mozzarella and maybe Parmesan...? They have garlic powder, red pepper, and oregano on the table to top your slices with. The garlic powder is a very light, flour-y, dusting powder instead of the garlic powder found in pizza places in NYC, that's closer to resembling grains of salt instead of talcum powder. Service The staff is very friendly and attentive and also speak English for those of us who prefer to deal in English. Overall Glad to see that with "NY style" pizza places like this and also Rocco's NY Style Pizza in Oji, that the NY "slice" is finally available in the Tokyo area.

Brandon M.

Yelp
This location is hidden and worth finding! We are from the US and the pizza here is one of the best we have had. Pizza Slice will be a must stop for our family during all future trips to Tokyo. If you are visiting Japan and are craving great pizza look no further!

Yelp
The real deal for a NYC style slice! I was so happy to find this place on our last day in Tokyo! I lived in NYC for years, but haven't found an adequate substitute for a NY slice since moving to Asia. From the moment see Pizza Slice you will feel transported back to NYC - even from the big blue sanitation grade ('A' of course) on the outside wall. Even the big red Coca Cola paper cups were a flash back I haven't seen since living in NYC. The inside decor feels like Liquor Store in the LES. The big open space with white and black floor tiles and wooden tables and chairs sets a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You can see the available slices and flavors in the display. Order your favorites at the counter and grab a seat. In only a few minutes, the slices arrive warmed up with a perfect crisp, slight crunch to the crust and gooey melted cheese. I had to survey a few choices so went with a slice of mushroom, one of jalapeño, and of course one pepperoni. I loved the attention to detail with the canned mushrooms instead of fresh. I would say that there could have been a few more pieces of jalapeño and pepperoni on each slice as there were some lonely cheese areas. I highly recommend the pink lemonade as well for the full effect. Now, I will agree to some degree with Robert G's review that if this place was actually in NYC and lined along a block of Pizza places - would it actually stand out as being really good? Maybe not but may so, but the point is A) it's pretty decent and there are plenty of worse places in NYC, and B) for most it's the closest you'll get without a 12-16hr flight.

Yelp
Went to Japan to have a New York pizza basically. They literally took aspects of a old school style pizza joint and transported to Japan. It was a chill vibe there with tons of seating. The pizza was really really delicious!!! Can't say it was as good as classic New York pizza but it was close. I had pizza at a more expensive place as well in Japan and this was definitely better. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Someone from NY told me about this place. And of course, the glutton that I am, I hit the road and check the place. The pizza is good. You would notice the size right away. The crust was amazing. The topping was lacking a bit. Feels like it's a 65:35 ratio for crust and toppings. I thought it was "too healthy" for a NY pizza. I was hoping there were more cheese and oil in it. The interior and atmosphere...Amazing! Very chill and welcoming. It's super good for hanging out especially for big groups.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a slice of the sausage and the jalapeño with a Coke. Both were super good. Big, greasy, cheesy slices of American pizza. Place had a cool atmosphere and I had no problem getting a seat even though I went on a Saturday. Definitely a must try for people who miss American pizza.

Yelp
Hands down the best pizza in Tokyo!! Big 500-600 yen slices of new york style pizza with real authentic pink lemonade on the drink menu!! It's definitely a place for the young n hip of Tokyo with its minamilist decor and neoseoul/rb/hiphop playlist. Yet it's not a pretentious hipster zone at all. Often families, tourists young n mature japanese workers are mingled in with the cool kids, making a cool n relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at ease. Seriously, I luv this place so much! N its staff are friendly awesome n a few that I met are straight up bilingual!
google avatar

Alexandra P.

Yelp
This pizza is by far the closest to New York-style pizza I've had in Tokyo, but if you're looking for a 100% match, this isn't it. Needs more grease! Haha Regardless, I'm still super thankful this place exists and I keep going back. The garlic knots were definitely on point.

Yelp
The pizza is ok, but the fact I can get pretty legit pie in Shibuya adds a star... If you get tired of your hotel's (that is you Cerulean Tower) price gouging for insubstantial and overpriced food, take a walk southeast for some solid NYC style food.... Pair that with some easy going alternative music and reasonable cocktail prices and you have Pizza Slice. Ok, the Mushroom was the clear winner, excellent quality mushrooms and good coverage... Second place goes to pepperoni, only had about 5 pieces, but good taste... Last was sausage.... And for reason...Plenty of coverage but lacked any taste or spice what so ever... Definition of Meh...Avoid. Each slice was 500¥... Not bad for the size of the slices...
google avatar

Yelp
The Pizza Slice offering is simple, but solid: a minimalist approach to toppings, some crunch in the base, and a size New Yorkers would approve of. The cheese slice (380 yen) comes fresh out of the oven, and the cheese to tomato paste ratio is well-balanced. Don't expect fancier toppings, either: Your only other selections are pepperoni, meatball, and the slice of the day. Hiroki Sarumaru, the owner of Pizza Slice, first encountered pizza through the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but it wasn't until a trip to New York City that he started questioning, "Why doesn't Tokyo do by-the-slice?" That trip would give him his first experience with New York pizza culture, and inspire a two-year pilgrimage to the Lower East Side - with hours spent in the kitchens of pizzerias like Champion Pizza, learning the tricks of the trade. With its large black doors, Pizza Slice looks a little like a randomly placed fire station, but the interior - vintage tables and chairs, and a long bar counter - gives off a diner vibe. It's a spacious, distinctly western design, and it works. Naturally, this is a great place to kick-start a night of drinks and clubbing, or if you're just craving for a taste of NYC in Tokyo, it likewise fits the bill. And the sign out in the front says it all: "We serve only New York slice pizza. Do not expect any other things from us."

Yelp
Awesome pizza!!!! Better than what I have around at home in the States!! You go in, make your order of the pizzas they have available and take a seat. They heat and bring it to your table. Omg talk about delicious!!!! Thin and crunchy!!! Loved the pepperoni and sausage!! Garlic knots are good too!!!! I highly recommend it. It stays busy but I believe you can reserve a spot (I saw a reserved sign for 3 guests on a table) but I guess you have to call ahead? The workers can speak English really well!!! Highly recommend! So good for that break for home food!!!

Yelp
I know my pizza, especially NY pizza. I lived in NY for over 3 years and have had more dollar slices than you can even imagine. Moving to Japan has been such a struggle because of the lack of pizza. Thank you, Slice, for making my life in Japan a little less difficult. I admire the owner of this place, who literally went to NYC and learned how to make its pizza. And then shipped an authentic pizza oven from the states to Shibuya so he could do the pizza right. And he DOES. Mostly. Things I can appreciate - the size (thank you for not having "Japanese-sized" slices), the variety (some of the toppings are questionable, but for the most part, spot on!), the tiered pricing (anywhere that understands that a standard slice of cheese should be cheaper than one with toppings is OK in my book), and the interior (it's definitely too nice of a place to be serving NY slices in the states haha). Things that make me :/ - The seating (lots of people reserve tables, which is making it more difficult to just be a walk in and enjoy a slice spontaneously), the price (usually, I'd say don't call yourself a NY slice and charge $5+ for a slice, but since it's Japan I guess I'll make an exception... there is a lot of cheese on the slices), and the music (standard Japan's-view-on-NY-culture, but a lot of places do this so I can't even be mad). All in all, though, this place is a shining beacon of hope in the pizza wasteland that is Japan. I hope this starts a pizza revolution (destroy corn mayo pizza!), and I will always remember the harbinger of the revolution: SLICE. If you're just visiting Tokyo and you can get a slice in the foreseeable future, you may not be that impressed, but for us who once lived in the darkness, we put our hope for the pizza future in Slice. The beer is expensive though.

Yelp
Great humongous and tasty pizza. The place is.quite hard to reach but I love the relaxing atmosphere there

Yelp
Excellent Pizza! Feels Great To Have A Different Feel Once And A While! I will be heading to NYC in a couple of Days Actually For Vacation so hopefully, it tastes the same!

Yelp
As an American staying in Japan for a year, I've definitely had some ups and downs with Japanese pizza (mostly downs). This place is like a godsend when you can't bear to look at one more potato and mayonnaise pizza. The slices are huge and delicious, just like a NY style pizza should be. It can be expensive (especially if you purchase an entire pizza like I did), but it is SO worth it! Their garlic knots are also super good, but get there early; it couldn't have been later than 8:15 when I got there the last time I visited, and they were already sold out. It seems like everyone here speaks English too, so if you're looking for somewhere to escape for a few hours, have a beer and some good pizza, this is the place to go. I already want to go back! Basically, if you're missing some good pizza during your time in Japan, come here! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Great NY Slice. Awesome room, tunes and team. Fits wells into this cool neighborhood.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Everyone has been raving about this place and now I see why. Thin NY style crispy crust with a thin layer of sauce, cheese, and any other topping you like. Every layer is perfectly portioned so you can taste every flavor. 500yen a slice and they are big. I had two slices with a couple of beers and I was stuffed. Best NY style pizza in Tokyo.

Yelp
I am confused. So to preface this review I just got back from Las Vegas New Years Eve where I had a drinking binge topped off with great imitation New York style pizza every night. I also went to college in New York State and routinely go back to New York City for the food. So I tried Slice less than a month after coming back from the states. It was not bad. It was decent compared to what I had. In all honesty, I feel bad trying it so soon from being back from the states. The pizza is New York imitation in Japan at its best. 1. Thin crunchy flat bottom with a thin crust 2. Grease from the melted mozzarella on top 3. Light sauce to not over power The sausage even tasted like NY style sausage. I had a sausage and a Jalapeño slice. They had 2 types of garlic, red pepper, oregano, and other add ins that make you feel like you are in that corner college dive pizza joint you used to love at 3 am. The only problem, it tastes like all the other ones you avoided because it wasn't as good as your favorite. If I had not gone back to the states, been abandoned in the toxic NY style-less pizza environment of Japan this would have been mana from the gods... But with the fresh memories of legitimacy, I find myself left wanting a little more to make me happy...

Nhina S.

Yelp
It's gigantic, cheesy and delicious. Although it's far from the pizza I'm used to back home in Sweden it was a relief to not spot a single tuna mayonnaise pizza. This was the good place to start a night out at. So to begin with the fact that I was able to make a last minute reservation for 10 people on a Saturday night deserves a gold star I think. And they do a special birthday thing where they make a birthday cheese pizza (4500¥ for 8 slices). The place has a very casual ambience and you pay when you order your drinks/slices by the counter. I actually think we did order all the different kinds of slices they do offer (apart from the garlic bread) and my favorite was the simple cheese slice. But the spicy pepperoni one was another favorite among my friends. They take reservations by phone only. But it's possible to just show up and grab a slice and some drinks. If you are in the neighborhood, or craving some pizza, this is a very good place to head out to!
google avatar

Masayuki K.

Yelp
Interior is completely American, from a shocking-pink EXIT sign over the door to an "Employee must wash hands" placard over the hand-washing faucet. You will definitely feel as if you were in a restaurant in the US. Pizza is a bit thinner than that of Rocco's in Oji. Snacks, cookies and brownies are sold as well. Credit cards are available for payment as Square is installed at the cashier. Staff is friendly. There is a free WiFi inside.
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
Guys. This place is just cool. If you want a good American New York style pizza, this is the place to get it. I got a massive pepperoni pizza for ¥500 for 400. Pizza tasted just classic. The pink lemonade was on point: not too sweet, not too sour. Come here and eat some goodies
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
This is the best slice place that I've found in Japan so far. Native New Yorkers like myself have different levels for pizza categories and though it may at fist seem degrading being a good slice place is a pretty high honor. I'm not talking about the dollar slice level either. Of course you'll pay for the luxury of having a good slice in Japan but it's well worth it and not really more expensive than you'd imagine for being so far away. This is New York style, no other, so don't go expecting super thin or ridiculously thick pizza. The bottled beers being in brown bags is a nice touch as well. The location is a bit far for tourists, but on the flip side also means that this is one of the few reasonably priced eateries in the expensive Daikanyama area. Know what you're getting into and you'll no doubt love it.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
Oh my gosh. If you are from NYC or NJ and know real pizza-this is your Japanese equivalent. The slices coming in all the typical New York toppings (including Italian sausage!!!!!!!!!!!) and they even supply the condiments you would find in a normal pizza shop in the states, chili powder, garlic powder, and basil. The slices are huge and start at 500 Yen per slice, but man was it worth it. They are delicious and right on point as others have said. For a moment I wasn't sure if I was in Asia of New York lol. The place itself is very cozy and cool. It is set up to be for more of a group thing but I was alone and they had no issue with me sitting at the counter. There is free wifi here, free water and seriously that pizza was delicious. Will be back for sure next time I am in Tokyo!
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
This is the only place outside of New York that has New York Pizza that I TRULY love. Super stylish interior too. Definitely peep this joint out :+)
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
Nice to finally have a good pizza-by-the-slice joint in Tokyo. Pepperoni on my pepperoni slice could have been more. That aside, good quality and quantity. Authentic. Will be accompanying my non-functioning metabolism here again soon. Need takeout-boxes for individual slices, though (see photo for what happened when my takeout slice went bagged but unboxed).
google avatar

Yuichiro N.

Yelp
This is so far the most authentic pizza place I've ever been to in Tokyo. In all honesty, I'm not sure how authentic their pizza would be for you American folks, but I've lived in the US for about 3 years and have had tons of slices there, so what I feel about this place shouldn't be too off from your standard. I found out about this place when I was getting a bit bored with Napoli (Italian) style pizza, and I quickly got addicted to this pizza here. Plain cheese slice only costs 390 JPY, which is definitely cheap enough to get a slice of this size at this quality in Tokyo. If you are from the US or a fan of American style pizza, this place must be worth a visit. I personally like it so much!
google avatar

Peter R.

Yelp
Great beers and great pizza. Super chilled, great spot for a night out. The seating arrangement and open style make it a great spot to have an enjoyable night in Tokyo! The pizza variety is good, and pieces are huge! Little bit of America in Tokyo!
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
Overall, a solid pizza place with reasonable prices. The thin crust had the perfect texture and crunch, but the tomato sauce was a little sweet for my taste-- probably caters more toward those living here. I thought the cheese pizza was better than the pepperoni best the pepperoni pizza tasted sweeter to me. Cool that they sell by the slice as they do in the states.
google avatar

Becca F.

Yelp
I only give this place 3 stars because I'm not a fan of sweet sauce, but if you are this is the place for you! They have friendly English speaking staff, the ambience is nice, and a lot of tourists come to visit.
google avatar

Camila V.

Yelp
If you're a foreigner looking for a taste of home this is the place to go! Good NY pizza and amazing garlic knots it's a little pricey to charge 500 yen for only a slice, but seeing there is not a lot of options it does the job.

James A.

Yelp
For the jet-lagged US tourist looking for a decent dinner, Pizza Slice is a welcome oasis. NY style pizza done in a simple venue with a large communal table section, along with some smaller two-seat tables. They have meat & veggie options available, so vegetarians take notice. Despite the cash-only signs the guy at the counter was set up with an iPad and Square credit card reader when we visited in early September. Also, if you're taking the bridge over the Yamanote Line train tracks to get to the restaurant you might miss the stairs down to the restaurant the first time you go. Look to the left side of the road for the down staircase once you're across the tracks.

Yelp
Good cheese pizza and garlic knots. It was kind of funny to me to see the "American-style" diner ware, like a coca-cola cup and paper plates, in such a trendy looking shop. But it is a really nice, clean place. If I was just rating the food, it'd probably be 4-5 stars, but every time I talked to someone it was kind of difficult. My boyfriend heard online that English was totally accepted (obvious from all the reviews here), so when we ordered, he used English. Unfortunately, the girl barely did. So next time I went up to get a drink I used Japanese, even though it was a different person. They then repeated my Japanese followed by English for every single thing I said. Which is it guys, English or Japanese? Because neither really seemed to be accepted by us. It was also pretty unclear, both orders, if we should go back to our seats and wait, or stand at the counter to be passed our food. We were just told to wait. I guess the mix of typical, trendy Japanese restaurant and ordering American food at the counter got me kind of confused. Again, the pizza was great, but there was some sort of weird disconnect. I guess you see this a lot in Tokyo though.

Yelp
The crust was nice and crispy and the sauce was delicious. I had the jalapeño and the Caramelized onion both were delicious. The jalapeño was spicy and the onions were nice and sweet. Also the garlic knot was very garlicky which I love. The service was also very friendly. Overall very happy I went!

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in tokyo in 2 years of being here. Highly recommend but stay away from their anchovy pizza (it's too salty). This place is cash only with no smoking. Staff was friendly. This is NYC style pizza.

Yelp
Great slice of pizza hands down. I'm from NY and would be more than happy to get a slice of this quality. About $5 a slice but really hit the spot after binging on Sushi. Friendly staff, plenty of space and the Coca Cola cups complete the ambiance. Make sure to go here for a slice to break up the local meals. And if you're not from or never been to NYC (or Italy) this may be the best slice you've ever had!

Yelp
Good pizza. Nice, spacious, clean and cool atmosphere. You order by-the-piece, which are large (Costco-size), with lots of cheese, but not tons of toppings. We got the jalapeño, and it had probably 4 or 5 slices of jalapeños. We also got a slice of the Caesar salad pizza- which is a very tasty Caesar salad served on top of a slice of cheese pizza. You can't get the salad by itself, or served on the side (Japanese rules), so just ask for an extra plate and dump it off the pizza and onto your extra plate. Suits me just fine. They also served the green iced tea in a pretty big cup with lots of ice- way more than you usually get here. They also had free wifi, though I didn't use it. We will definitely go back for more pizza and salad.

Yelp
It's hard to find authentic American pizza in Tokyo. Lots of delicious pizzas but nothing you would find anywhere else in the world. This eatery creates a nostalgic New York pizza diner with a variety of large pizzas by the slice. I would have liked to see more topping options but overall it was good and not greasy. Love that it's tucked away by the tracks
