Pizzarella Italian Restaurant

I lived in Hollywood for 2 years and never saw this place till the other day and said I have to pass by. On 02/25/2026 i decided to have lunch and sat at the bar to order, as I was sitting down I was speaking to the owner not mowing who is was. I must say the friendliest place you can go and enjoy an amazing lunch it was worth me stopping by. I have to say that I’m from NYC and have not eaten a pizza so close to my home town. Thank you for the great experience and most definitely I will be coming back multiple times.

After a day at the water park we wanted a bite to eat. So we stopped here. The server was very kind snd welcoming! I got pizza for the kids and a chicken Cesar wrap for my self. We enjoy the food so much we ordered a medium pizza to take home with us for dinner. Definitely will be back!

Having lived in Chicago, I have high standards for pizza. This didn't come even close to meeting those standards. There was a pool of grease/liquid in the middle of the pan which made the crust soggy. When we asked the server about that, she used some excuse about the mushrooms cause that. If you know mushrooms have that much water in them then pre-saute them. Don't just say that happens on every pizza that's ordered with mushrooms. Don't know about other readers but I abhor a soggy crust. Service was strange, not sure we had a dedicated server, seemed to be multiple people. So if you asked one person for something and they didn't get it, you ended up asking someone else. Would not recommend this place for pizza.

If you want pretty bad food that may or may not ever arrive, Pizzarella is the place for you. The food is mid to awful, at best, the staff is rude and they really don't act like they want to stay in business at all. Can't wait until they do go out of business so a decent pizza place can take over the space. You can always tell when a restaurant has their friends and family write false five star reviews. It only takes a simple search.

My family has enjoyed eating here for a long time, but the place is going downhill fast. Where I used to rave about the food but two times in a row now have been extremely disappointed. Tonight was the last time I think...the stuffed shells ordered tonight was cheese soup. The shells were burnt and stuck to the pan, there was literally no red sauce and 98% cheese. I couldn't even bear to take it home. But on a good note, the salad and garlic rolls were very tasty. And by the way, the waiter never even checked to see how we were doing. So sad.

Amazing; FLAVORFUL PIZZA, garlic bread to die for the Pasta A must have, the Sangria was perfect. I was amazed with the prices the entire table was very cheap. Will definitely, I live in Miami and was in the area and stopped by for a slice and the experience was great.

This is more of a Brazilian/Italian restaurant. They serve a wide array of pastas and other yummy stuff, but the pizzas are the best. I also recommend the garlic breads with cheese, as appetizer. It's a ridden gem that I found while driving around, and I stumbled upon it, and I'm always coming back.

Nice neighborhood place, service was good, portions very generous, prices very reasonable....and everything I have ever had there was very good. The draft beers are always ice cold and the wines, ( while on the lower end of the price scale) are very tasty and smooth.) This past Easter, instead of having the family and a few friends come to my house, I used the small private dining room in the rear. It couldn't have gone better. We had one waiter, and it was amazing how , in a small establishment, all of the food for 20 people came hot and at the same time . Everyone loved it. Except for my neighbor , who is on a diet and ate way too much over his limits ..... and then had to cut his normal portions for a week to make up for it,

The hunger pains started and noticed this pizza joint in the center of the plaza a prayed they sell pizza by the slice. Went inside and was happy to find out that they do offer a slice of pizza for $3.00 which I ordered. While waiting the five minutes to finish in the oven, the back room was available to rent for $3.00 per person. Seemed like a fun secluded place to watch a sports game with some friends and pizza. The small pizza slice had a nice under char and the crust was crispy. Although, the sauce was not zesty and not enough garlic but that's just my taste buds and personal opinion of course. Happy Hour is from 4p - 7p Buy 1 get 1 Free on domestic draft beers. The restaurant has sufficient table seating to host a busy dinner hour. The bathroom was clean with beige tiled flooring which continued up the walls.

ordered a Caesar salad... Croutons were stale and had mold. Manager was not concerned. Other reviews same... Kitchen not sanitary/expired food.

Great meal! I had the Brazilian salad and the wedding soup. My Italian sister in law would be jealous. The salad was so full of good food. The wine was better than anything I have had at home. The staff was so helpful and kind. The staff and the food is why we keep coming back.

I went on a Tuesday and got there special. It was a large cheese pie. The crust and tomato sauce was okay but the cheese was extremely salty, like they put extra salt in their cheese. I wiped off the oil on the cheese and it was less salty so definitely so extra corners being cut. Also there was an older male server and he was extremely rude talking about how he has no empathy towards others. Beautiful lunch conversation. The guy works in a service industry for gods sake and makes a living of people tipping. Made the food taste even poorer.

I come here for the Brazilian pizza and it's the closest thing in the area to authentic Brazilian pizza.

Servers very personable, caring. Go there regularly, never had a meal that was not superb. Very clean. Quiet, enjoyable.

Surprisingly Good , so I went with the sausage and peppers is Italian restaurants are a dying breed and the combination of the baguette toasted around the edges. The sauce red sauce is a boy now entertaining me to order, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and everything else because if you don't have a good sauce, nothing so I ordered the eggplant and sausage with mozzarella cheese. Excellent the size in the portion. Excellent making me want more. I recommend this place.

There are hidden fees on the Ubereats menu. For a large pie was 18.99 and then I had to choose a "side" of a small, medium or large pie (an extra 4$). When I called to ask, the woman on the phone about it she said Ubereats charges this not the restaurant and then said the restaurant tried to fix it but couldn't. I called back and asked her to include a water to fix this but she got mad at me, raised her voice and told me it's not her problem that I order from Ubereats. I felt disrespected and will never order from or visit this restaurant again. My family and friends all live in Hollywood and they will definitely hear about my experience. All this while im in the ER with a sick child. So rude!!!! Oh, and a small bottle of water is 2.75. The pizza is pretty good though.. shame

Pizzarella is a local neighbor favorite Italian for my family. The Brazilian style calabreza pizza has tasty New York style crust with great flavor! The pastas are also great. We have had the fruitti de mare, lasagna, and clams in white sauce. All these dishes were very well made and served in a hot hearty portion. Garlic rolls are of course solid! Also love having a bottle of pinot noir to add to the flavors. Thank you for being a consistent warm welcoming restaurant.

We have visited Pizzarella for lunch several times and I've never been disappointed. The pizzas and the sandwiches at lunch have always consistently been good...on point. Tonight we tried it for dinner and it was a huge mistake!! Whoever was in the kitchen, sent out an eggplant Parmesan dinner to my wife that was literally burnt so badly it was singed! I ordered a chicken dish. I had the first bite of the boneless white mean chicken swimming in cream and it was rubber. I was so turned off by the first bite I could eat no more. The chicken was obviously poorly rotated and sat in the walk-in forever. Chicken becomes rubbery when not turned over properly. This was a big mistake. I pointed it out to the waiter. I feel totally ripped off. I will never go back never ever!! PS I was forced to add one star so that I may post this review.

How not to run a business. I ordered three meals and a pizza. Two meals were wrong and they left out the third meal. I purposely repeated the order twice. When I told the owner that if I spend over $100 they should try to get it correct. He never said a word. No apology. Nothing. When I tried to call him on my way home the guy wouldn't take my call. I have them the benefit of the doubt my wife and I got very sick from a mushroom pizza. A total mistake I will never set foot in there again. One star because there is no zero.

I ordered 3 Brazilian pizzas last night and I'm impressed, still salivating. The chicken pizza was the best! Exactly like I remembered it from Brazil, only missing some ketchup packs but I know it's not common in the US. Well packed, good portions, arrived fast and warm. Will be definitely ordering again!

What has happened to the food at Pizzarella? It was very good for a long time, but tonight the eggplant parmigiana was a joke. Just pieces of burnt eggplant covered in cheese without any layers of sauce. The calzone had peppers instead of olive. There must not be the same chef. The service is very good though.

Best pizza in the neighborhood also has a great friendly staff they also carry a good amount of specials with good moderate prices

Pizzarella looks like a descent place and the service was good. The food was just average at best. I had the Italian wedding soup. It had no vegetables in it. Usually Italian wedding soup has spinach or escarole with carrots. It tasted like Campbell's chicken noodle. The soup was bright yellow like canned too. There were two tiny meatballs in the soup. The pastina was over cooked. They brought me a salad instead. It was fresh with cucumber and tomato. The steak sub had small pieces of steak with peppers, onions and cheese. It had good flavor. The eggplant parmesan sub had pieces of cooked, chopped eggplant with sauce and cheese. I was not a fan of the sauce. It needed to be cooked more. Overall it appears that too many short cuts are going on here to produce any wow factor with their food. Maybe if I had tried the pizza I would have had a better experience.

The pizza was nice and fresh as well as the garlic rolls. Delivery was super fast. I would give it a 5 just wish the slices were a bit bigger.

Located along Sheridan Street, Pizzarella is a cozy pizza and pasta restaurant that offers take out, dine in, catering, and delivery. There are plenty of table seating for customers and there's a large table in the middle of the restaurant that accommodates a group of twelve. To the left of the restaurant, there's a bar that has a fine selection of wines. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed and handed a menu. After overlooking the menu, I decided to order a medium cheese pizza to go. I was told it will be ready in about 15 minutes. There was a variety of dishes on the menu such as various whole pizzas, appetizers, soups, salads, subs, wraps, desserts, pastas, chicken, veal, seafood, calzones & stromboli, side dishes, kids menu, beverages, and beer. Happy hour is from 4pm-6pm. Lunch specials are served from 11am-4pm. Once I received my box of pizza, I headed straight home to enjoy it...it did not disappoint. Nicely baked thin crust with an even layer of tomato sauce, which was flavorful, and cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to return to try their other dishes

This is one of my favorite Italian neighborhoods restaurant. The dishes taste good. The portions are a good size and the staff cares. I specially like the food recipes. I ordered there really good garlic bread. I love to put extra garlic on bread. No vampires come near me lol. This place accommodates on the extra garlicky order. With a nice freah garlic chunk butter that is delicious. Today I had the chicken Francesca. It was tender and full of flavor. Delish. The spaghetti that came with the dish was good too. It had a good amount of sauce. I appreciate that so the pasta doesn't go dry after 10 minutes of driving home. It came with a salad. Good house dressing. When I was there I noticed a sign for coxinhas. That was unexpected. It's a Brazilian appetizer. It's like a small stuffed mashed potatoes ball with a shredded chicken filling. Its pretty good. A must try I recomend this place the staff is great, the service is good and tje food fantastic.

Stopped in the other day, the food was superb and verrrrry affordable. It is on my "visit often" list.

Pizza has gone downhill, garlic roll are still fantastic, service is good and the staff is friendly.

Placed an order after 2 hours waiting I called to see what happened and only then the restaurant informed the order has been cancelled. The excuse is that the restaurant is really busy. There was no willingness to remedy the situation. And I was told to write a review. So here it is. I'm a recurring customer that was lost tonight.

We just had a wonderful experience here, the mushroom soup is a delicacy and made in house. So it is the sauce in your pizza made in house just for you. Exquisite and very nice Serice !

If I could give zero stars I would. I work in a clinic and we ordered pizza from them so that the doctors and all my coworkers could eat. My coworker (who is allergic to cockroaches) almost ate this pizza with a roach in it. The doctors ate slices of this pizza. They are all grossed out. When we brought it to the managers attention she told us that she has never had this problem but when we check the reviews something just like this happened two months ago. She was even saying how she doesn't know how that got there as if we were the ones that put it there. We work in a clinic that works with allergies so why would we even have cockroaches. You can even see that the cockroach was cooked in the cheese. We used to love this place, but never again are we ordering from here.

I have been a customer from early last year. My friends have referred me to the Italian pizza restaurant they, serve pretty decent dishes and are tasty. On scheduling on the website doesn't mat up of what they say in person. The closing hours earlier when you walk in and I got denied as a custom for asking servicing food on a Monday at 9:30 pm when on Google/Apple Maps in the details states the restaurant closes at 10

The pizza was great and the shrimp Parmesan was great. The cashier was nice and friendly. The place is great.

I have tried this place several times. Don't order delivery, it is never on time, or you never find out what happened. Tonight delivery was almost an hour late, no apologies, no call back.

very bad customer service! the manage it's the most disrespectful person. our pizza came cold after 4 deliveries before us. we're clients from more than 6 years! Never more we're ordering there. It's a shame!

We ordered Pizzarela special pizza, wings and calzone. I don't understand the negative reviews. The pizza crust was on point the way I like it, not too thin or thick, generous amount of toppings and great tomato sauce (especially for me that usually order white pizza). The Calzone was big and cheesy.. delicious. Another important note is about the dough, light and you can tell is made with good ingredients. We are very happy and will order again. Next time we want to try the Brazilian pizzas: Calabresa and Portuguesa.

Fast friendly service from Vander. Cold pitchers of beer at a good price. Can't beat that. Coming back for sure.

Sorry it took us so long to discover this local, neighborhood jewel! Really delicious and amazing value for the price. The Italian wedding soup was the best I ever had! The eggplant parm was great and my husband (fussy eater) really enjoyed the chicken francese. We'll be regulars from now on.

My sister and I have been coming here for many months with our elderly mother as a safe nearby lunch spot. The service, the food and the prices way over exceed our expectations. The pizza is delicious but the rest of the menu is also terrific. The portions are huge and we always have enough for a second meal. Most of all the waitstaff is friendly and accommodating. As soon as we sit down they know what to bring us and make us feel a part of their family. Thank you Pizzarella for giving us a safe place to feed mom!

We're back at Pizzarella in Hollywood and they have the best pizza I've had in South Florida. Their salads are a step above!!! It's a Brazilian restaurant and they pay attention to detail. Their salads includes black olives, red onions, cucumbers, carrots, red cabbage and more. They're garlic rolls are phenomenal!!! If you have been here before, you need to come here !!! The best pizza in South Florida and I cannot believe somebody has not made a franchise!!!! It's that good!!!

Like anyone who has customer service experience, I believe first impressions are very important when it comes to dining in a restaurant. Upon arrival, there was no greeting us and no one asking if we needed assistance. This was our first time at the restaurant. The employees were not friendly in the slightest, and our pizza came out very undercooked. I do not plan on returning.

Use to be my favorite pizza place. I would order at least twice every week, but they've recent went down the drain. My last visit I was delivered 2 cold and overly greasy pizzas. We called and explained what happened and they told us we'd be comped our next visit. When we called later on in the week, we were treated beyond rudely & told they would not accommodate our order in anyway. Personally, I find this absurd with how much business we give them.

We smelled the aroma of garlic goodness from the CVS in the complex and had to follow the smell. The food was enjoyable but the eye stares weren't. The staff and a few customers acted as if they have never seen anyone with brown skin tone before in the restaurant. The stares were very off putting and uncomfortable. Staff would walk by singing and staring but wouldn't say "hello" or "how's your meal". We have never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant before. This was a very unfortunate experience.

I've had their pizza in the past and it was really good. This time, I tried the baked ziti. Not my favorite. Overcooked and very bland. I'll still order from Pizzarella but will stick with the pizza

Brazilian owned where they make Brazilian Pizzas plus New York Style Thin Crust Pizza . The sauces and dough are homemade every day . They have a lunch special, 2 slices and a soda for $6.99.

The first two times we came here we had to order their special Pizzarella pizza. I had chicken piccata the last time and it was very good. The best pizza that I have found in Florida. I highly recommend this place and the staff was very pleasant. Thanks, I'll be back
