What an amazing place. I was honestly not expecting to find pizza this great in the middle of the Berkshires. The place is very nice, cozy, with friendly staff. But the pizza was AMAZING, highly recommend for anyone in the area (or willing to drive for great pizza). Perfect thin, crust, oven burnt borders, fresh ingredients.

Excellent place to grab good quality stone-oven baked pizza if you are in the neighborhood or passing by. Free street parking available; not sure about Wi-Fi (Verizon coverage is bad). We (3) had 2 pizzas for early dinner. They were so good that we decided to grab another for take-out. Service was exceptional from start to finish.

What an amazing pizza! We were amazed by the taste of the dough: simply delicious! I had the allium pizza: incredible taste and my husband got the bbq chicken and really enjoyed it too! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great and service impeccable!

This was one incredible pizza shop! They serve Neapolitan pizza and they have a vegan menu with tons of great options. The pizzas are cooked in a brick over at high temps (900° is what we heard) so don’t be surprised if the pizza has a few charred spots. It’s normal and typical of the style. They’re about 12 inches in size and good as a full meal if you’re hungry. The restaurant itself is charming, well decorated, and clean. It’s not very big, but it still feels nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and pleasant with every interaction. It wasn’t very busy on a Sunday afternoon and our party was seated right away. Our food didn’t take long either, just about 15 minutes for our 4 pizzas. My wife and I split a salad and they kindly split it into two plates without us even asking and I appreciated that. The pear and Gorgonzola salad was refreshing and light , well dressed, and added a nice brightness before we dove into any pizza. We ordered both the Bianca and the Pepperoni they were absolutely heavenly. The dough and the sauce are the perfect compliment to the wonderful toppings. Both of the pizzas balanced sweet and savory flavors and all of the ingredients were fresh. This is better than any Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had. Our friends had 2 of the vegan pizzas and gave similarly glowing reviews for the margherita and the tartufo. Making a beautiful pie like these is not easy and this place absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Nice open, clean space. I was really looking forward to this place. I ordered the white beans with focaccia. The focaccia was good, the beans tasted like they had been soaked in vinegar - like pure vinegar. The extreme acidity resulted in instant heartburn the moment I ate some. I will give this place a second chance but somebody needs to lighten up on the vinegar. It ruins the dish. Pleasant server and extremely happy to see they had a vegan menu. Oh - bar stools are too low for the height of the bar, unless you’re six feet tall. Updated… went again and had the Vegan Mediterranean salad with Feta. It was very good!

Flavorful pizza, friendly staff, and a great dinner option in downtown Lenox. We happened upon Pizzeria Boema when plans to go elsewhere fell through. Their cleverly placed outdoor heater caught our attention and drew us in - and we are happy our original plans did not pan out because our dinner and evening was much better than we anticipated. The decor is stylish, but not over done while the menu includes many traditional options as well as several creative combinations as well. We have the cheese garlic bread, which is really a mini pizza. Served with marinara sauce, the appetizer was a great place to start. We followed with a pepperoni pizza that is drizzled with a spicy honey - flavorful and not at all sweet- this hit all the right notes. Though busy, staff were attentive and did not seem stressed - even after children at the next table over spilled soda on the seat and floor. We loved the humorous letter in the wash room, which shows an appreciation for the local community. We do wonder why no insects have made it onto the menu though (read letter in the attached he’d photos). They do a large take out business as well.

We came back just so we could both get the Allium pizza, truly the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had. If you love garlic TRY this pizza!!!

Google
Such a delightful place that I’d come back every time I am in town. Went twice, about a month apart, during the summer festival. Consistent great service; both times the servants were happy and attentive. Loved the artistic and refreshing decor, and the fact that the tables are not crowded and you get your own (comfortable) space (compared to other places nearby). Loved the pizza, the arugula salad, and the red sauce of meatball (I cleaned the bowl with rim of the pizza, that’s how good the sauce was 😆). 4-min drive (6-min on a day of Yo-yo Ma) from Tanglewood, and is one of the better places that open early (12pm) to allow enough time to capture the 2:30pm performance. The second time there we saw musicians from the orchestra - pretty cool that two hours ago you were in the same restaurant a few feet apart and then you saw them on the stage.

Yelp
This place is cozy! I recommend booking reservations if you would like to eat inside. We did not have reservations but they have an attached barn that is lightly heated where you can dine. The service was good but since it was busy and I felt the waiter wasn't readily available when we needed him. The pizza menu changes so the items we ate are no longer listed. We ordered the Rudy which had fig, arugula, cheese and stracciatella. I love fig and was excited to try their version. Overall good pizza, nice crust and not too sweet. My husband ordered the out west that had corn, bacon and jalapeños. We did enjoy our dinner but not sure if I would try them again. I come from a state where we have great pizza locations so I was sad when this place didn't live up to the expectations I set.

Yelp
Stopped in with my daughter and grandson for dinner and we were all impressed with our meals. My grandson is gluten free and they offered a cauliflower crust pizza ..very good. My daughter get the margarita pizza and I got the allium ... we shared and enjoyed both very much. Service was good and the ambiance was very chill and informal which worked for us. I would recommend this for sure.

Yelp
Pizza + Wine + Outdoor Music = Perfect Afternoon This place is a gem...good food, great service.

Michael W.

Yelp
What a cute little spot. Love the feeling when you walk in the door. Unfortunately for us the main restaurant was packed and we did not have reservations. They offered us seating in "the barn" which is detached from the rear of the building. Yes it's a literally barn which means it is exposed to the elements. They did have some heaters but we were still a little cold and not as cozy as the main restaurant felt. The pizza was good and my cocktail was also good (even tho it was priced a little steep). Service was ok - I understand he had to walk a long way to get from the main building to our structure but sometimes it felt like we didn't see him for a while. Consider this review to be more of a 3.5. I would return again but only if I had reservations inside the main building.

Lisette R.

Yelp
First of all, the pizza here is AMAZING. We've tried the tartuffo and a vegan one with tomatoes and arugula, both just delightful. The salads are fresh and perfectly dressed. Try the Rosa Reviver cocktail, it's PERFECTION. The service is really great. It's a bright sunny place with a low key wood based decor style. Perfect for lunch. We've been here twice and will return when in the area.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Great pizza at the Berkshire. Service is attentive n friendly. It feels like a neighborhood place. Salads a nice. Not too overdressed. It's a great place to come w your family ordered a few different pies and share. I had to drive home so I didn't have a wine. They have great selection of wine.

Scott K.

Yelp
The pizza here is absolutely amazing--a true masterpiece! The Caesar salad, on the other hand, could use a little more excitement. It's like the salad showed up to a pizza party without a costume!

Michael R.

Yelp
Great food and service! We arrived for $10 pizza night which was a fantastic value. The wood fired pizza was very tasty. We ordered the southwestern chicken, mushroom and the Allium. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although they had no room for us, they set up a table for us outside since it was a nice night. It was the first night they had outdoor seating of the season. It was also our son's first restaurant experience!

Joseph M.

Yelp
I went there twice so far and not disappointed. The first I ordered a wood oven pizza for pick up. After I hung up the phone i thought of "I hope I find parking!" Well!!!! They have reserved pick up parking right out front, perfection! Next time I went for lunch and had the garden salad with shredded chicken and it was excellent! Service was the best! The pizza was great also! They have a great cocktail bar and the bartenders are excellent! This restaurant is worth the stop.

Allen F.

Yelp
What a great place to enjoy superb pizza and cold beer. The real northern Italian style baked perfectly. Modern cheerful atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommend for a satisfying pizza fix!

Bart L.

Yelp
I quite liked it, though my family was less enthusiastic than I, I think because they liked the pizza topics we chose less than I did. I thought both the pizza and the salad we had were very good and the service very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself can get a bit noisy and it can feel a bit cramped.

Jenna R.

Yelp
I'm not drinking currently because I'm pregnant--but really well selected spirits. Amazing pizza! I got the allium, and added chicken. So delicious! The roasted garlic is everything. My partner legit got a side of it to add it to his pizza! Their date night special for winter and fall I highly recommend. It's available Sundays to Thursday's, and includes two pizzas and a bottle of Portuguese wine starting at $35. Great deal. You won't be disappointed coming here.

Darrell K.

Yelp
Boema was an excellent choice: very good pizza and a really fun setting in a barn behind the restaurant.

Don C.

Yelp
We had vegan pizza for lunch, (garlic, tomatoes, corn, etc) superb. AND ordered thefamily 3 vegan pizza , with large salad, for takeout, Excellant service ,food and atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend for vegan pizza. We will return. Pizza packaged @home after 30 min. ride still piping hot. Don

Danielle S.

Yelp
the best pizza, service, and atmosphere! Boema is a MUST when visiting Lenox. My friend had the margherita and said it was delish. I had the vegan tartufo on cauliflower gluten free crust. The best gluten free, vegan pizza I have ever had!!! Our server Don was also amazing! Very helpful and attentive!!

Benjamin F.

Yelp
Everything was great as usual. Service was outstanding. The only reason for the low rating is due to a 3% kitchen fee added to our bill. When asked about it, we were told that the non English speaking kitchen staff did not have the same opportunity to make tips like the wait staff so the fee is to compensate them. This should not be on the customers and the kitchen staff should be paid a fair wage. The food is already a premium price.

Vijay N.

Yelp
Given how good the crust and sauce are, the speed and friendliness of the service, and the spacious outdoor seating under market lighting in the heart of Lenox, I am surprised there are not always lines out the door at Boema! We enjoyed pizza here both after Tanglewood morning rehearsals and before evening concerts. The margherita pizza doc (buffalo mozzarella) was our all-around favorite, with perfect pillowy charred crust, lively tomato sauce, and flavorful cheese. The vegan pepperoni with mushrooms was also very compelling in terms of its smell and flavor, and came fully loaded (note, you can get it with real cheese if you lean vegetarian and don't mind dairy). The watermelon summer salad was also refreshing (we substituted the citrus vinaigrette and were very happy with that bright option), but perhaps a little lackluster with no crunch element and perhaps overpriced (similar price to a pizza for a far less filling dish). Perfect for a quick bite basically anytime, we'll be back again next season!

Howard J.

Yelp
Excellent artisanal pizza, good salads. Pleasant, informal atmosphere, good service. For a larger menu, go to Frankie's , next door (same owners)

Mike H.

Yelp
THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!! It was amazing!!!! Sat at the bar. It was early so it wasn't too busy. It was loud but manageable. The bartender was a young girl who was pleasant, sweet, and attentive, but not annoying. We had beer and wine and relaxed. I ordered the pepperoni with additional goat cheese. AMAZING!!!! The crust was light and fluffy and steaming inside. My gf ordered the prosciutto pizza, and she killed it! We live 2 hrs from Lenxo, but I can see myself making the trip again just for pizza!

Kevin A.

Yelp
Excellent pizza and interesting choices. Good salad. Sat at the bar, which was comfortable and friendly. Local brews on tap. Price was reasonable. Only thing to be careful of is that they seem understaffed so they will not seat you immediately even if there are a bunch of open tables.

Alice M.

Yelp
Incredible pizza! The crust is amazing. Great take-out in Lenox. I also liked the fresh salad.

Marie G.

Yelp
I arrived at Boema at 4:30 in the afternoon, with less than an hour to eat and get to my next appointment. I was the only customer there. I never said I was in a hurry, just placed my order and sat down. The pizza, as you can see, was severely undercooked. As I was in a rush, I decided to eat a piece anyway, and get back to where I needed to be. When the waitress asked how everything was, I showed her the underside of the pie. She seemed to have no idea what to do or say, and nothing was in fact done. When I reheated the pie in a hot cast iron skillet the next day, the crust cooked up nicely, and the pie was in fact quite good. I'll give them another chance, but I'll check the underside before digging in, and make sure I have time to send it back if necessary.

E S.

Yelp
Loved this place. We ordered the Allium pizza to take in to Tanglewood. Yum. The place was very busy, but the live music out back provided entertainment while we waited for our food. Next time we'll stay and have a drink as well!

leisa s.

Yelp
Cute place in a cute part of town. Pizza and drinks were good. Service was attentive and helpful.

C S.

Yelp
The pepperoni with the honey drizzle - a MUST! Will definitely come again. Especially for $10 pie night.

Gabrielle M.

Yelp
Beautiful space! Very friendly servers who worked well as a team. The vegan pizza with balsamic and garlic was delicious! The pizza dough was perfectly chewy. The Mediterranean salad was fresh and the dressing was perfect. For dessert we shared a vegan berry tart with sorbet which was exceptional! Although we didn't have any drinks tonight the selection of wine looked extensive! A cheerful and satisfying end to our day.

Ed F.

Yelp
Great little place, friendly bar staff and amazing pizza. We just ordered a salad and pizza off the specials menu for lunch and both were great. They asked if we were sharing and then split the salad onto two plates, which was nice. The pizza topped with arugula is cooked in a beautiful tile pizza oven and the crust was perfectly light and chewy. Highly recommended!

Larry P.

Yelp
Some of the best brick oven pizza I've ever had - especially for those that like interesting pies. Ambience is great, service is amazing. Try their white bean appetizer. I get this every time!

P D.

Yelp
This is a great place...we just stopped in and everything was great. We shared a Roasted Cauliflower appetizer that has pine nuts and parsley. I had a special Meatlovers pizza with extra char and my wife had a gluten free veggie pizza w extra char. Both were exceptional. I also had a Bright Ideas Under Cask IPA and my wife had the hot apple cider. We enjoyed everything tremendously

Lloyd M.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Fast, fun & casual with great decor! Pizza is delish!

Jax S.

Yelp
Lover and I took an extended bike ride (e bike because lover is a lazy piece of shit) through the hills of Lenox Massachusetts before stumbling upon BoeMa. We decided to sit in "the barn" and darn... that wood barn had charm. Incredible tunes playing and old milk crate decor slaying we were ready to chow da fuck down. And oh mama... the vegan options. As you loyal followers know lover and I are dairy free baby and so the vegan pizza menu made lover almost as hard as the reclaimed wood. We ordered the artichoke salad with chicken. Fresh, crispy and delish but quite light on artichokes the salad was a seven. The chicken definitely was needed because otherwise the salad was pretty much just lettuce and nuts(haha deez nutz). The tartofu pizza was the star. With the best thin crust east of Italy and a shmattering of truffle mushrooms we devoured that shit. Great service (love you Monica), pizza, ambiance and outstanding tunes. BoeMa if you are reading this send me your playlist. 4 stars. Stay hungry, not hangry.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, cheerful cozy lighting, great decor, and a killer playlist! We loved everything we had and especially appreciated all the options for restricted diets. Just wish we didn't live so far away and could come back often.

Malia U.

Yelp
Some of the best wood fire pizzas I've had. Salads are great too! Would definitely return.

Albert R.

Yelp
Had a holiday dinner here. Nice vibrant space. Good wine and beer list and reasonably priced. Pizza was very good with lots of options for vegetarian or meat eaters - either make your own or order one of their specialty pies. Desert was good as well with gelato and the flourless chocolate cake. Coffee was French press and reallyyy good. It was busy and they missed two small parts of our orders but compt us for those. Overall great experience.

Matthew R.

Yelp
Rode my bike into town and landed here. The lunch special was a perfect treat : pizza and a salad (for 10 bucks!) I got their 8" Boema Pizza with vegan sausage and a Caesar salad. The pizza dough is so soft and the toppings were perfection. Our waitress was super kind and efficient. I must say, The bathrooms are always tidy and well maintained here, which is something that can make or break a dining experience (for me)! I always leave Boema very satisfied.

David J.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! The warm bean salad is so tasty. The Cesar salad was extra special. Not sure why, it looked typical but the croutons tasted like grilled chicken. The margherita pizza perfect. Nice soft but crispy crust. The tea measure of any pizza joint in their Margherita pizza. This place is firing on all cylinders.

Peter V.

Yelp
Great dinner location for pizza and Italian specialties. DJ and I share the warm bean crock that were marinated to perfection. It came with toasted pizza bread pieces to dip. Yummmmm ! I also had that arugula salad and we also shared a personal pizza. Very brick oven styled. Loved it. Will be back!

Daniel B.

Yelp
Excellent service. Attentive, prompt and friendly. Food quality was also excellent and value was good with the "date night" deal. The wine that came with was admittedly about a $10 bottle at retail but it was surprisingly drinkable and good with their robust pizzas!

Steve N.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Neapolitan pizza with its super thin, floppy, knife and fork center. Along with its puffy, slightly doughy, oh so tender but chewy, char speckled 'cornicione' (outer rim.) It's nice to see that Neapolitan style pizza is slowly making its way out of the big cities and into areas where it may be unfamiliar. Too many parts of the country lack any pizza diversity. Choice is good. High quality ingredients are a hallmark of Neapolitan pizzas and Boema delivered. All three of our pies were excellent, and fine examples of the form. I enjoyed my three cheese with chorizo. The cheeses were a flavorful blanket over a delicious, naturally sweet, simple tomato sauce. I liked the light sprinkling of fresh thyme on top, it added a needed herbiness to some bites. My only complaint is our pies were topped too generously for my taste. Neapolitan pizza is by design very thin, and is best topped with a judicious hand. Neapolitan pies should be light, unencumbered by an overabundance of toppings.

Nikki C.

Yelp
The food was great. Manager was excellent. Ambiance is sophisticated. They were also surprisingly very kid friendly!

G P.

Yelp
Pizza is a solid 3 but due to cost giving a 2. Decent pizza but no where close to the 4.5 on Yelp. Plus it's expensive, I would pay $18 for a good pizza any day but for this size and quality it's way overpriced. I don't recommend this for a great pizza, go pick some up a Guidos much cheaper and better than this

Jeanie N.

Yelp
Great pizza restaurant addition to the cute "downtown" main street strip of Lenox. Serving deliciously bold pizzas, salads, and adult beverages - for a very reasonable price! This place will definitely hit the spot for pizza cravings! The interior is super cute and there's outdoor dining seats available. Staff is all really warm and friendly, and wearing masks due to covid19 Got the pizza of the day which has smoked salmon on it. Thought that was a unique topping. The pizza isn't super thin, but it's definitely not super thick. They are generous with the cheese and toppings - yum! Their crust is yummy and made well Shaved salad - a lot of bitter greens balanced well with chickpeas and their vinaigrette. A wonderful way to cut the richness of the pizza. Highly recommend, would get again! Ample parking

John C.

Yelp
We knew dinner reservations were a problem in Lenox so we got reservations early by walking up right after lunch and making them in person for that evening. We were greeted, seated and our drink orders taken. A bit of a problem getting the QR order code for menu up on our cellphones but we got it solved. Boema has a huge wood fired pizza oven and three people preparing/cooking the pizzas. We were seated so we could watch the process. We split a Summer Salad, mixed greens, watermelon, feta, and a balsamic dressing and split the Chicken Caesar pizza. Tasty. The owner came over and talked to us about his operation. Turns out his wife runs Frankie's next door. We ate there the night previous (see review). Food was great, service professional and the owner friendly. A must stop in Lenox.

S B.

Yelp
This was the second time I had received a pizza here that I felt had WAY too large an area for crust, and not enough for the "artisan" toppings I was paying for. I asked for my money back, but they insisted they could make another one quickly. I'm giving them 3 stars for doing so. Sorry, but the product is just not consistent.

Caitlin W.

Yelp
Chic barn seating. Decent food, though the boema pizza was a bit sweet and confusing to our palettes. We had a attentive waitress. She was diligent to follow up on requests. The power went out due to a car accident, we were surprised there wasn't a generator and patiently waited the twenty minutes needed for management to create a last minute plan on dealing with checkout.

Roni C.

Yelp
WOW great pizza, great food overall, gorgeous ambience, and hyperfriendly servers (and owner)! We had the roasted cauliflower appetizer and the pear and gorgonzola salad to start--highly recommend both. Then we split the mushroom truffle pizza and the garlic goat cheese pizza--both were amazing and it was hard for us to tell which we liked better. This was our first time eating at a restaurant since the pandemic began. The whole restaurant seems to be taking COVID-19 safety very seriously, and the waitstaff made us feel very comfortable and cared for.

Chris C.

Yelp
Boema was the perfect place in town for a late lunch. Our server was attentive and friendly. Good quality ingredients in the pizza and salads. I just wish the crust on our pizza was cooked more in the middle because it was a bit soggy .The ambiance was light and modern.

Smelly D.

Yelp
It was some of the best pizza I've had in the Berkshires! The service there was quick. And it had a very relaxed ambiance. Would definitely return.

Andrea B.

Yelp
Stopped here unexpectedly because no other restaurant in Lenox was open before 5 (nobody does late lunch/early dinner in Lenox before a show at Tanglewood!?) - but we were thrilled with it. Food was not just great, it was amazing. Simple and not fancy, but really fantastic! The balsamic glaze on the pizza (which is optional) was genius, the salads were perfect with just a light touch of dressing on every single piece of lettuce. Can't say enough about this place. What a great find!
