Pizzeria Braceria CESARI!!

Charming Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant in the heart of Nagoya. Feels like you stepped into Italy and the ambience feels very authentic. Service was very good and attentive and the they do set menus. The food was pretty tasty and you do get a lot of food in the set menu. Their pizzas 🍕 are award winning and they were pretty good. But I really love the quirkiness and feel of inside the restaurant. Loved the experience!!

Championship award well-deserved. The pizza was done perfectly. Soft center with the crunchy crust. The pasta was also really good we had to order 2 bolognese. Staff was very welcoming and gave us full attention throughout the meal.

We stumble around this restaurant after spend our day visit Osu Kannon and Osu shopping street , we were kind confused with the next door pizza place too , we in then out then in again … since not sure if they were same restaurant … honestly was quite busy so we sat , near the kitchen bar table … we order antipasti , salad , pizza , pasta and tiramisu … and it was absolutely good … our bill was AUD130 with 6drink … and we got food coma after 😆🤣… Even our 6yo daughter rate 100 out of 10 for the food .. it’s that good 🤩😍

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very good. We came there right after opening and ordered eggplant with tomatoes, liver pate, wine, steak, tiramisu, and coda di aragosta. The eggplant with tomatoes was a 10 out of 10! The liver pate was the worst I have ever tried in my life. I don't know what this recipe is, I have never tried anything like this. It was very sweet, and the taste of the liver was very fishy, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. I ordered two glasses of wine and didn't quite understand why the amount in them was different. The first glass was brought literally with wine at the bottom, and in the second glass, the amount was twice as much as the first. 😅 The steak was great, and the amount was just right for two, somewhere around 800 grams. We waited a very long time for our desserts to be served, and at the moment when we got up to leave, they were just brought. The portion of tiramisu was ridiculous, literally half of what people are posting here. The coda di aragosta was very difficult to chew. I had to remove the top layer of dough to finish it. As I understand, this dessert should be crispy, but because they store it in the freezer, it changed the texture. The cream inside was frozen like ice cream. Should’ve taken more pictures of food, but we were so hungry that it didn’t cross our minds

Nice pizza and cold cuts. You have to order by yourself at your phone and the wine was just delivered to our table and i had to serve it by myself, a bit weird. But overall a nice spot for some Italian food.

Itameshi (Japanese: イタ飯) kind of fusion cuisine originally from italy that combines traditional elements of Japanese food and Italian food. Great service with lots of choices from menu. Long line at lunch hours , so get there early. Also so many interesting small shop at this strip . Recommended and orders , what we order. Grilled beef is nothing to excited. We Should Try to order more fusion sashimi dishes .also there is table charges for 330 yen per person. We are only two persons. We got charge for 4. Not big deal. But this is not Japanese way . I have lived in Japan for almost 10 years. My husband speaks Japanese. We received terrible service at this restaurant. The hostess made a point of “not understanding” what my husband was saying. He didn’t explain how the restaurant’s service worked. After we ordered dishes for two adults (our two children don’t eat the dishes served there), he said that he would charge a couvert. If the place isn’t prepared to serve non-Asian people, it shouldn’t be considered an Italian restaurant in Nagoya.

Over-rated. We went here due to previous reviews and waited about 20 plus minutes for a table. Upon entering, we noted numerous empty tables and wondered why we were kept waiting so long. Pizzas and cocktail came out on disposable plates/cups-not acceptable for what we paid, and in this day and age (what about the environment folks). Water was also self serve (again-tiny paper cups.-I almost didn’t get any, but I was very thirsty). There was no service provided by staff-we ordered from a machine and collected our own food (once we were told it was ready). Pizzas were ok (mine tasted a little fishy). There must be better pizza restaurants around than this one.

I heard that there's a pizzeria that won a 1st place in the worldwide pizza contest. I could not believe, but I searched and found this little Italian restaurant tucked in the Osu district where countless merchants are competing their popularity. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. The pasta was ok, but their pizza was very, very good. Definitely better than some tourists oriented pizzerias in Venice. My wife ordered a white peach wine which had a fresh peeled whole peach inside a carafe. I don't drink, but she said it was amazing. If you just want to take home a pizza, you can get it at their pizza counter adjacent to the restaurant. Tuesday and Wednesday are closed.
