Yelp
When you walk in and see groups of forty-something business people, mid-twenties hipsters, and a bouncy five-year-old all enjoying the same pizzas, you know this place has a broad appeal.
First off, it's cheap --- slices (cheese, prosciutto, and one other I forget) for a few euros; half or whole pies for only a few more. In our group, one hungry guy handled a half (~4 slices); I went for two slices worth of funghi (mushroom), some cecina, and a glass of wine.
Ah yes, the cecina --- called farinata some places --- is a standout here. Hot out of the oven, crispy, savory, and a perfect counterpoint to the pizza.
This will be my first meal next time I'm in Lucca!
