Great super thin crust pizza. All with the same margherita base but with option to add salami, salami picante, etc. got the salami picante and loved it. They cut a chunk of pizza for you and weigh it to determine cost. Great option for quick meal or snack.

Pizzeria Da Felice was highly recommend by the host of our apartment, having read the reviews I was a little worried that we wouldn't be welcome as tourists however please ignore the reviews! The staff couldn't haven't been more welcome - we felt so at home and comfortable, everyone was so friendly and most importantly the pizza was delicious ! Thank you so much ❤️

I’M 62, from Queens NY. Been eating pizza since I was old enough to hold a slice. I’ve dined in 5 major cities in Italy. I had the best pizza I have ever had here at Felice in Lucca. Mangia!

Google
Excellent fresh crusty pizza and delicious local-favorite cecina. Warm and welcoming staff.

Google
Delicious, quick lunch at an excellent price (15 euro for two of us, including sodas!) Loved that you could add any toppings to the focaccia and the pizza, and the cechina was great too. Staff very helpful.

If you like food on the go it’s great place to get Pizza while walking around Lucca. Very tasty pizza made in front of you and is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to try their pizza

Google
Just got done with my pizza slice from Felice, it's great, really tasty, 4 Slice and 2 soda's and the family was happy all for 15 Euro!

Google
The owner is not FELICE at all, quite rude and always gives you a mean look if you do not pay with cash. The sauce is great but the dough is average, also all of Lucca is pet friendly except this place.

Yelp
We felt like staying in and having pizza and wine! This place was great for pizza to go. 23 euro for 2 large pizzas. Delicious!

Yelp
Searching for an outstanding pizza place open at 5:30 we came to Pizzera da Felice. When we entered there were no customers as we ordered a whole pie with half and half spicy salami. Draft beer and Moretti are available along with soft drinks. By the time our pie arrived there was no room left in the tiny establishment, even the outside benches were full. People came in and out for a slice or two. Those who sat inside enjoyed a full pie. The pie has a thin crust and is exceptionally good. A coup,e next to us said they come here each year to eat the pizza all week. And we know NYC has some very good pizza.

Yelp
This is a small pizza shop with cheap, quick and tasty pizzas. There are a few seats inside, but when I arrived there were no seats, so I sat outside on a couple benches connected to the storefront. They're pumping out pizzas like crazy and they have a pretty large menu actually, but I just got the simple and basic Margherita pizza, which is just tomato sauces and mozzarella cheese. You pay by weight, so I asked for one slice and they cut me what looked like two slices and a bit, it ended up being only 3€. It was hot and fresh, had a nice thin, firm and crispy crust with oozing cheese and tomato sauce. The sauce was a bit sweet and balanced nicely with the savoriness of the cheese. Overall, great pizza and I'd definitely come back again for a slice!

Yelp
Terrible service, very rude lady spectacled staff who wasn't pleasant and welcoming at all. This is a hole in the wall with no place to sit outside except for tiny benches and little stools. Inside has only a row of bench table and 2 small table seating by the wall. The pizza is so so only, nothing spectacular. We had margherita, prosciutto and anchovies with capers pizza. It's affordable pricing, bigger slice than usual, thin crust. But I find lack of cheese and not too sure what is the crazy rave about on the reviews and by Lonely Planet. Closes at 2.30pm. And they take cash only.

Yelp
Best pizza in Lucca. Fast service. Expect to find a crowd and expect to get your order fast. Order one slice of pizza (that is how you order) and don't forget to get some cecina, a chick pea flour based tortilla like. The place is tiny, and the inside is very 1970s which is charming. The family who runs it is friendly enough. It closed early so arrive before 7pm. The castagnaccio with ricotta is to try as it is a traditional dessert in Lucca!

Yelp
I wanted to see what the hype was about. Thin crust, barely any cheese. I ordered a slice that was charged by weight. You get for what you pay - tomato sauce on bread with a sprinkle of cheese.

Yelp
Average.. Not sure what all the fuss is? Came here because of the reviews. The pizza is a little bigger than normal round standard pizza and the price is quite good but the pizza overall is just average. We bought 3 whole pizzas and brought the rest home to our apartment (Diavola, Cheese and sausage). Remember its CASH only

Yelp
In search of a trattoria that my husband forgot to write the name and address of, we came across this pizzeria because we were fumbling to get past all the people trying to get in! We came back to Pizza da Felice and ordered a few slices and they were delicious! Waiting time is short because they only make specific types of pizza. Inexpensive, quick, yummy and exciting! I put up some pictures, one of them being the storefront and am a little confused why the pizzeria is named "Pizzeria da Felice di Grazzini Marisa" on yelp and google, but "Pizza da Felice S. Volpicelli" on the store front.

Yelp
One of our favorite places while in Lucca. It's not fancy by any means and don't expect lots of options with toppings, etc. just good, handmade, wood fired, pizza. We ate slices here for lunch one day & returned for a whole one the next to take away. Good quality, fast, and tasty!

Yelp
When you walk in and see groups of forty-something business people, mid-twenties hipsters, and a bouncy five-year-old all enjoying the same pizzas, you know this place has a broad appeal. First off, it's cheap --- slices (cheese, prosciutto, and one other I forget) for a few euros; half or whole pies for only a few more. In our group, one hungry guy handled a half (~4 slices); I went for two slices worth of funghi (mushroom), some cecina, and a glass of wine. Ah yes, the cecina --- called farinata some places --- is a standout here. Hot out of the oven, crispy, savory, and a perfect counterpoint to the pizza. This will be my first meal next time I'm in Lucca!

Yelp
I wish they had one of these places in San Francisco. So far my favorite pizza place away from home. It was simple and quite tasty. They sold the slice by weight. I also tried the garbanzo bean slice but did not care too much for it.

Yelp
I can't place my finger on it but it's just the best pizza I've ever had. I traveled all over Tuscany with a 9 year old who only ate pizza and so I would get to try his leftovers and this was just inexplicably the best, eyes rolling to the back of my head good. I've only had the margarita pizza here but the sauce and cheese and crust are amaze-balls. It's a very tight fit inside the joint and you have to be ok with eating your slice standing up or at the one of a dozen high barstool seats. There are a few stools outside and always a steady crowd.

Yelp
Best pizza in the World - especially quattro stagioni. We come here as much as we can, and part of Why we keep coming back to Toscana and Lucca.

Yelp
Charming little hole in the wall...the closest I saw to something like an old school American pizzeria while I was in Italy. I think I paid 4 Euro and change for a slice of pizza, a piece of cecina (a must-try), and a glass of wine. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful, and I wish I had had more of it! A great place to stop for a meal or a snack, especially if you don't have a lot of time for a long, sit-down meal. And even if you do eat elsewhere, save room to stop by Pizzeria da Felice anyway!

Yelp
This place was great. Thinner crust than Napoli, but all the ingredients seemed very high quality and the execution was good.

Yelp
We were walking around Lucca and saw that this place was crowded with locals, as well as tourists. So we figure the pizza must be good. We order a margherita pizza and a chick pea pizza. It came out of the oven, and all the locals were ordering the chick pea pizza, so we gave it a try. The pizza was really good, and the chick pea pizza was good too! Two big slices was only 3.89 Euro!

Yelp
Delicious! Very small, friendly staff, lots of locals. Loved the pizza (margherita, prosciutto). The ceccina was very good - could go for one right now! Cash only.

Yelp
Delicious pizza at a reasonable price!! Friendly staff. The address is actually Via Buia 12.

Clayton H.

Yelp
Small but charming. Pizza by the slice and an interesting choice of chestnut pizza with herbs! For a quick lunch break, this is recommended.

Yelp
The crust is terrible, not hand made. It is clearly a factory crust. Service was ok. Poor selection of types of pizza. If you want a better pizza, try Pizzeria Mara Meo in Piazza San Francesco.
