Pizzeria Italiana Liberta

We had a lovely stay at Pizzeria Libertà. The owner made us feel welcomed and made sure that we were looked after. The premises are clean and comfortable. We finally found a place with hot water and good food! I can highly recommend to try the pizza, It was super tasty! On top of that, Biba the dog is adorable and super friendly. Pizzeria Libertà is a great place to stay if you plan to visit Isalo. Grazie Gianni, Nico e Maria

We had a lovely 3 night in the lodge here! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean, and you need to ask them for hot water but then it’s great. The restaurant is great but if you want something besides Italian, you’re within walking distance to Chez Alice which was great and had more variety.

Last resort if you really want to deviate once from local food and feel like tasting something different. Other than that, there should be no real reason to pick this pizzeria. Flavors are weird and pizza is really heavy to digest. better dining somewhere else.

Very delicious Pizza. I didn't expect to find such good pizza in rural Madagascar. Staff was very friendly and started the wooden fire to make our pizza just for us.

Great restaurant for pasta or pizza( pizza from 19:00hrs). We had pasta penne puttanesca, al dente ofcourse. Great service, friendly italian owner. Too bad we couldn’t try his pizza! A little hard to find, follow the signs and continue straight ahead. Wifi is available as well.

It is possible to find a good Italian pizza in Madagascar? yes it is! if you need a rest from the zebu and rice standard menu here it is a very good alternative. The ingredients are mostly local but the quality is very high The owner too is nice and friendly. Not really easy to reach at night as there are not many lights in the path that leads you there, but the taste it worth the little effort. Don't forget to taste the chocolate cake too!

Friendly owner and tasty pizza. In the whole village this is a nice "western" place with necessary comfort for 110.000 Ar.

I have a serious problem with this restaurant and how it operates. Don't get me wrong when you get the food it's amazing. Even Italian with us approved it. But the problem is that the first day they run out of pizza and pasta after serving only 7 clients. But we said OK. It happens we gonna reserve a table and come back next day. But the next day we come just 30 minutes after opening, there was no clients and they said they run out of pizza. How is it even possible? Maybe I'm frustrated but sometimes you really really want some pizza and they tell you they have no dough. Give me a break.
