Calzone 10 (Unexpectedly delicious, even better than the pizza) Atmosphere/Music 5 (house music on a pizza place?!) Pizza 8 (could definitely have more salami, even though I paid for extra)

I have enjoyed this place since it opened. I do not, however, care for their tables and chairs/benches. Not particularly comfortable. Also, I don't recommend doing any food delivery orders. I have basically always ended up with a cold pizza that way. Not the store's fault really, but still negative.

Robyn Henry

Google
I ordered from Uber Eats . Best pizza. I wish there was a location in Maryland.

Gaby Gomez Carett

Google
This is a non usual pizzeria, the menu offers combinations that I never imagined. The crust was think and crunchy, flavors were incredible. Try the fresh squished lemonade! Just personal size, if you are very hungry order 2, but one for each one was enough for me and my daughters

Google
I absolutely love their pizzas. The Caprese is my go to. Their pizzas are always made fresh to order. Their fudge brownie is also delicious. I usually go during a mid week lunch time and they are quick and there is plenty of space to sit and eat them.

I do love this pizza spot it’s one of my favs! But unfortunately the customer service my girlfriend and I received from the cashier dude with the curly hair and bandana was rude. We approached him very nicely and when I asked what gelato flavors they had he just pointed at the sign above him which I hadn’t had seen. Then when he brought us our drinks he just dropped the straws on the table very passive aggressively. Weird vibes.

Google
I really like this content build your gourmet pizza, it is fast and has a very good flavor. I will definitely be coming back. I tried the staff recommendation and I was very pleased with both option.

Google
I have to admit the crust and balsamic glaze on the caprese pie was pretty darn good. I didn’t care much for the beef steak tomato slices that were added after the bake; they were just too big and they weren’t cut so it made it hard to eat. Also they didn’t taste the best - call me spoiled with my organic tomatoes I’m used too. Honestly nothing that really makes this place stand out for me...it’s a typical setup just like Pieology or MOD pizza but at least those guys have gluten free and cauliflower crust options.

Yelp
I was hesitant to go here because the menu didn't really have what I thought I wanted. We were in the area, and reluctantly , we stopped. We have been back 3 more times in the last 6 weeks! I have always got a pizza and substituted white sauce for marinara. Those with me have gotten their choices of pizzas until today. My husband got the canzone. Each time, I got a handshaken pear lemonade. The crust, for pizzas and canzone, tastes wonderful, isn't too heavy, and is easy to chew. You want to finish the crust. They are individual pizzas, 6 slices. I usually eat 2 or 3 slices & save the rest for another meal. The calzone was huge, enough to share or for two meals. My husband doesn't eat Italian sausage much anymore. It doesn't settle well. The Italian sausage in the calzone is House made and very good. The lemonade! Oh my. If we didn't live 30 miles away, I would stop in for the occasional lemonade. It is so good. They have other flavors, too. I'm not very adventurous. Once I find something I like, I tend to stick to it. Maybe one day, though!

Yelp
Food was really good. It was better as a dining experience then it was ordering to go. The service is friendly and that it is so fast and clean. I really enjoyed their pizza.

Yelp
Best personal pizza chain restaurant in my option! My co-workers and I enjoy going to this convenient location for lunch. When they're not offering the banh mi pizza, I always get the caprese pizza. I love the fresh tomatoes and basil, and the balsamic adds a nice tangy flavor. I like that their crusts are thin and crispy. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is super friendly and offer suggestions to enhance the pizzas. My co-worked ordered the Di Bosco that doesn't include meat. They said it was tasty with chicken so they tried it and loved it! They are also reasonable priced at around $10 a pizza.

Yelp
I love getting the pera pizza and the caesar limone salad! I recommend the pera for those that enjoy sweet and savory from the pear and prosciutto. My only complaint is the portion, the salad and pizza are quite small for the price.
google avatar

Yelp
Not my favorite. The crust was decent. The cheese was okay. The sauce was seasoned poorly. I had high hopes for the burrata pizza and it was very disappointing.

Yelp
I ordered online on a Friday evening and the eta was 45 minutes. When I got there I could see why, it was fairly busy. However my pizza seemed like it was finished way earlier. There was a tracker online that showed when they accepted the order so I thought it would update when It was ready. It never did so I headed in at the given pick up time. The staff was friendly and the pick up was quick. The pizza it's self was nothing too special. It was a little cold which made the crust a little soggy. Like I said I'm guessing it was just finished earlier than expected. I think if it was fresh it would have been much better. Over all I won't be rushing back here, but the next time I give it a try I'll go in person. It seemed pretty popular given how busy it was. And the staff was really nice so I see the potential.

Yelp
After a long day of studying, my buddies and I decided to go to Pizzeria Limone! It is a pizza location that is just off of the University of Utah campus and has plenty of spots for parking. As we go into the restaurant, the menu is conveniently located while we wait in line and gives us enough time to choose the perfect item that we want to eat. There are also very cool designed walls that I think definitely brings a positive vibe. As we order, the service is excellent as they are nice and quick. You can even see the items on the pizza being added in front of you. There are also dessert times to select from which are aesthetically displayed to get anyone tempted to grab one. Coming to the food, I thought the pizza was not the best I have had. It is bitter and slightly over cooked. I also thought the price of the pizza was a little expensive as well. Overall, the service and location along with its designs were very pleasing. However, I thought the food could be better!

Yelp
Get what they're known for. The Pizzeria Limone. And add the Limone Cesar salad. You will not be disappointed. Excellent for takeout and I often order a half salad and crosta formaggi at the airport for my in-flight meal.

Jessica M.

Yelp
I have been to this location more than 20 times, they've always been my favorite location. Clean dining area, and nice staff.. I've never had an issue with my food not being up to par until tonight. My pizza was completely burned on the underside - please tell me if I'm being ridiculous, but I don't think it should look like this. All I really want is a refund or a complimentary pizza next time I go in - not sure if that's going to happen, it doesn't even look like someone from this location reads these reviews. I guess just beware everyone, 19/20 times you'll likely have a good experience, but you may want to check the underside of your pizza if you're ever getting carry out.

Anya S.

Yelp
Pizzeria Limone is not a good place to eat and order food from. The workers are very slow and disrespectful, the environment is too small and the lobby is filthy. The prices are ridiculous and the food is overcooked. Worst restaurant experience ever
google avatar

Yelp
Very good char on their crust! Thin crust minimal ingredients which made it bomb! Perfect portion size for 1 person. Would recommend this place! Although it's cheaper to get a pie they built instead of making on of your own.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a fast casual pizza joint that doesn't skip out on the quality-- Pizzeria Limone is for you! By FAR my favorite quick pizza in Utah. The crust is baked to perfection, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is so unique. I highly recommend getting a side of balsamic glaze to drizzle over your pizza! Also the house herb caesar dressing is my fav.
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza at Pizza Limone is delicious especially the Caprese Pizza and the Tre Sorelle salad. The pizza makers are polite and helpful. We go often BUT we are no longer going to eat at this establishment until they demand their landlord stops booting cars in their parking lot. We just watched two car owners pay to get the boot off their cars. It's despicable, hard to watch and is effecting their business. Sadly, great pizza but not worth it.
google avatar

Benjamin P.

Yelp
The smell is incredible! There are definitely some eclectic pizzas on the menu, and they let the ingredients speak for themselves. A great fast casual experience with options for salads, pizzas, and desserts. The lemonade was terrific, and I want to try the gelato at some point. I had the caprese. The crust is great and cooked very well. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice and casual, though I took mine to-go. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed things were very clean and comfortable.

Yelp
We go here at least once a month. It's some of my favorite pizza! I love their handmade crusts! I usually get the Pera pizza and my husband gets the Burrata pizza, which I don't think is on their regular menu anymore but they always do it for us. It's basically a pizza with arugula, grape tomatoes, and red onion and a large piece of Burrata in the middle and topped with balsamic glaze. You get your salad and your pizza too! Their salads are always fresh and unique and the hand-crafted, fresh lemonades are some of the best I've ever had. Top off your meal with a lemon buttercream-iced fudge brownie. The combination of lemon and chocolate is bright and decadent and melts in your mouth. Service is usually fast and friendly, however there have been a few mishaps. But patience is key wherever you go. It's usually clean, but sometimes the tables are not wiped. However it fairs far better than some other places I've been to recently.

Devin F.

Yelp
I've considered this place many times but always opted for somewhere else. I finally gave it a shot and was happy I did. The lemonade I had there was one of the best I've ever had (I think it had pear in it) and the pizza was also fantastic. I thought I'd finish it and still need a snack, but I was struggling to eat the last slice (solid portions). Great food, great service, and at a fair price.

Yelp
I came here several times and it was always a great experience! Although sometimes the wait times were a bit long, the food was always exceptional and the staff was always friendly. Plus, there were only 2-3 staff doing all of the work usually, so the wait was definitely justifiable. This place was definitely one of my favorites when I lived in Salt Lake!

J T.

Yelp
excellent food! great price - $10 for a $25 specialty pizza! this will be our new go to !

Yelp
Walk in at 11:00 through their unlocked doors. Have them tell you they are closed. Tell them that it says online that they open at 11:00. Watch them walk outside to their car, pop the hood, and look at the engine. Wait for them to get "open" To be fair, he was nice once they were ready.

terry j.

Yelp
So, are these guys still in business? I see a lot of great reviews but the last one was a month ago. Anyway, we ordered for home delivery directly from their website and they never showed up. We got a notification from a grubhub driver saying it had been delivered but nope, no pizza pie. We tried to contact the driver we got the text from but it didn't go through. We also tried every number we could find for pizzeria limone but no answer.... Either they are super busy at 6:30 on a Friday night or they have vanished. Regardless, we are disputing the charge and replacing the credit card we ordered it with. Super annoying!

Yelp
I've usually gotten the margherita napoli or the verdure. The pizza is very good, though I wish it came with more cheese. It costs quite a bit extra to add more cheese. I do think the pizza's a bit expensive for what you get compared to other pizza places. It's consistently good each time, in any case. I've tried the lemon brownies and haven't loved them, but the gelato is very good! I just wish their dessert pricing was more obvious. Nobody's going to remember the price from the wall when they walk in. You should be able to look at the menu behind the cashier and trust the price there, but it makes the gelato look much cheaper, so I do feel like the cost can be quite a surprise if you're expecting it to be $2 for the gelato and it's closer to $4 (just going off of memory; might be different). Their drink machine is one of those fun ones with a touch screen and tons and tons of choices. :) Maybe an odd thing to comment on, but they always have the napkins stacked nicely, haha.

Yelp
Service was super mid, they won't even let you add toppings or substitute olives off your pizza. Honestly super let down, didn't even want my pizza after they refused to take the olives off. Ended up just tossing out the pizza after I bought it and went to Burger King across the street. Plus, wobbly tables inside the establishment.

J. D.

Yelp
Pizza margharita napoli was so sloppy and runny. Looked like a 3-year-old's art project. Obvious zero effort went into building it. Not a fan of the automatically included tip for carryout. Crust was the best part, quite good. But it's basically bread.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently great pizza and salads. I tried a calzone today and it was ridiculously good. This is Neapolitan-style pizza, meaning fresh marinara, real Italian cheeses, homemade marinara, olive oil -- the best in town to my tastebuds. I was in Naples a month ago and this is as good as anything I had there. We are lucky to have Limone!
google avatar

Hanna N.

Yelp
You really can't go wrong with pizza! Plus, it's wood fired & delish!! We also love the lemonade the place was so clean & quiet. Great, fast service.
google avatar

Mallory M.

Yelp
I've had the margherita and the pera pizzas, and loved them both. The dough is so yummy, and the amount of toppings is just right, not overwhelming and not underdone. The desserts aren't my favorite, they're just "meh." Go for the pizza, go somewhere else for dessert. I love a good fast casual restaurant. As far as chain restaurants go, Pizzeria Limone is great.
google avatar

Mitchell R.

Yelp
The pizza was awful. Barely any sauce. The sauce that was on the pizza was about 1/8 covered in cheese. Not to mention they literally put 6 pepperonis on the ENTIRE PIZZA. By far one of the worst pizzas I have every gotten, you might as well go to domino's or some other major pizza company with quality like that. This was such a bad experience I will never be back to this place.
google avatar

Abby R.

Yelp
Did you know Pizzeria Limone has secret menu items? I didn't...until yesterday when I was with a group who ordered "Ferrari" pizzas that weren't on the menu! It had a yellow center and red toppings all over and I honestly can't remember all of them but there were fresh cherry tomatoes with a few different meats and it was really tasty. Their dessert Davino pizza was also incredible. Dessert pizza's always seem to lean into apples and cinnamon type pizzas and those are good. But PL's dessert pizza was all melted and gooey chocolate on a perfectly crispy crust. Too good. I couldn't. In the past I've skipped over Pizzeria Limone for other local spots but I regret all those nights I had. All those nights I missed out on a fresh and chewy personal pizza for less than $10 and I'm kicking myself. But I'm planning on making up for it in the near future.

Yelp
Crazy, tiny parking lot. Employees acted like they were working in a factory and could only do one task. Pizza was just okay--burnt crust and no flavor. Salad was drenched with dressing--should have asked for it on the side. Their chocolate dessert pizza, pistachio gelato and Sicilian pear lemonade were delicious. Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly for other lunch patrons. They have more items on their menu and are good to customize orders.

Margo G.

Yelp
I tried this for the first time this week, they had a really cool menu and seemed like a good vibe. I requested arugula as a topping on my Di Bosco pizza. When my pizza arrived it had so much arugula on top it was basically a salad. It was very strange thing to do and basically ruined my pizza. Bummer.
google avatar

Shannon L.

Yelp
I had a good experience here. Ordered the Salsiccia, but got extra meat and cheese. It made the pizza more full. It is expensive for what you get but I do like the fluffy, crispy dough. Not quit a New York pizza, not think like the pie. I don't feel super heavy afterwards.
google avatar

Tara C.

Yelp
This is the 3rd location I've tried of Pizzeria Limone and I have no complaints. They were super quick (helped that they weren't busy when I arrived) and my Margherita Napoli was delivered promptly to my table. I immediately asked for a "To Go" box since I needed to dash to an appointment and the server was really quick to respond. The pizza itself was delicious and it's that flavor--plus the quick service nature of this place--that keeps bringing me back. You cannot go wrong with Pizzeria Limone when you're in the mood for a quick quality pizza!
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
pizza Limone has good food but this location in general has VERY young staff. I was told they had to close the kitchen at 8:30 so that minors could get picked up? It's happened to me a few times . I get off work at 8 and come straight here and every time weather I get there at 8:15 or 8:30 they tell me they are closed and their online pick up stop working after 8pm also.
google avatar

Victoria V.

Yelp
Workers were friendly and fast at preparing the pizza. My pizza was burnt on the bottom, but I do love the pera pizza and so I ate it anyways. Hopefully next time, it won't be blackened on the bottom.
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
So I ordered through door dash. And the pizza was in a container. With open gaps and cold. The dessert was ok But as Far as Covid safety measures this did not comply. Door dash doesn't care so I just had to throw it out. Sad. Huge loss of money for me. 25.00 for nothing. Do not order from here if you have Covid concerns or even if you want warm pizza.
google avatar

Annie P.

Yelp
I have always had a great experience here. Restaurant is always clean, quiet, staff is friendly and fast with my orders. But above all the pizza here is really really good. I just returned from a two month trip in Italy and this was my go to place that reminds me of the style, dough and oven style of pizza from there. The crust is perfect in thickness and can hold up to the amount of ingredients. I only buy either the Margherita or Verdure with added prosciutto. It's tasty and light! So thank you Pizzeria Limone!
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a (mostly) fast casual pizza spot, Pizzeria Limone is a great option. I've been several times for lunch and dinner and have always been happy with what I've ordered, the price is on par with similar fast casual options. Service is always friendly, though not always fast. The pizza is good. I have tried branching out and the salads are fine, the desserts are okay. The pizza is the reason to come here. It's good, and generally if they're bringing it to you hot out of the oven, it's really good. I've experienced varying degrees of cleanliness in the restaurants, though if it's messy, I've noticed it's usually because they're understaffed and everything else is moving fairly slowly. Temper your expectations, you're not in Naples. But for 7pm on a Thursday night or if you're looking for a place to sit down and chat for a while with friends while you eat a couple of pizzas, it gets the job done.

Keith W.

Yelp
After a rough day my son and I decided we needed Pizza Limone more specifically a divino and a Ferrari. Wilinton the life saver behind the counter could have turned us away because we arrived two mins before closing but instead was happy to see us and welcomed us with a smile. Made our night!!
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Went here last night and was delighted to find a new pizza available...the Burrata. Apparently it is only available for a limited time, but hoping it makes it on the regular menu as this is my new favorite. Light application of marinara, cherry tomatoes, arugula, balsamic, red onions and that heavenly ball of soft, cool, creamy cheese right in the middle that I couldn't get enough of. The idea is you take this miracle of dairy and spread it around on your pizza. I wanted to spread it over my entire body. Well done Pizzeria Limone...now just make this a regular!

Yelp
It's funny how something seemingly insignificant can change your outlook on life. My wife and I were cruising around Salt Lake City in the familiar dinnertime haze, that phenomenon where you're hungry but don't want to cook/pay for food. It's quite a dilemma; anyone who has suffered through it will agree with me. We continue to drive until we come upon what looks like a less-than-impressive pizzeria off of 400 South. Hunger and boredom took their toll, and deciding that even bad pizza was better than most of our options, we branched out. The cute yellow sign and juxtaposition to Jamba Juice didn't promise Italian excellence, but, enticed by the offer of something different, my wife dragged me into what looked more like a boutique than a pizza shop. As we walked through the doors, we were met with an unexpected amount of class. The walls were a distinct charcoal, with maps of the world and chic modern menus hanging around the restaurant. The menu was simple, not boasting any incredibly complex pizzas; blissfully, there was no barbecue chicken pizza, slightly resurrecting my expectations, but rather simple classics. My wife, the less adventuresome of the couple, settled on a standard five-cheese pepperoni, and I was about to do something similar when a special caught my eye. Written in Sharpie on a roughly cut piece of butcher paper was the Capra, an intriguing blend of garlic-infused olive oil, goat cheese, fresh basil leaves, red onion, sweet sausage and . . . could I be reading cherries? Yes, tart cherries. Cherries! On pizza! What an idea. All other items were eclipsed, and I ordered the Capra from a distinctly Italian-looking chef, answering back in a heavy accent. I sat, hoping that the Capra would be half as good as it sounded, but knowing it was a tall order to fill. But boy, did it fill the order. Simply put, the Capra was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The tartness of the cherries against the sweetness of the sausage, the fresh basil floating against the rich goat cheese, all served on what you could have convinced me was a crust made by the Pizza God himself, amounted to an unforgettable experience. Thinking it was a fluke, I tried my wife's relatively boring pepperoni pizza, and it was just as good. But pizza this good isn't just good. It's transcendent. It's enough to make me wonder what else I've been passing up. We had passed that pizza place dozens of times, and I had dismissed it as a cross between Domino's and a Relief Society function (the sign was really cutesy; it could pass as a centerpiece), only to be proven wrong. So what I take away from this is not only will I be going back to Pizzeria Limone incessantly, but also that we shouldn't pass up on things based on preconceived notions. For all you know, you just passed up cherries on pizza. And what a tragedy that would be. For more foodie chatter, check me out at Algerrish.yelp.com.

Yelp
I'm not sure if this location just recently got new management but the experience I had today was probably the best, great customer service and delicious pera pizza!
google avatar

Charles A.

Yelp
I had the off menu Ferrari pizza suggested by an employee when I called in an order for the office. I didn't see any "meaty" options on the menu but the Ferrari hit the spot.. it had marinara, cheese blend, salami, Italian sausage, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, onions and pepperoncini. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it is good especially for the price. It's a light pizza with good crunch on the crust. The biggest factor for me is consistency, every location I have been in has produced a quality product and similar experience. If you haven't been, give them a shot!

Colton P.

Yelp
Pizza is mediocre at its best, not worth the price gouging they do, just like any fast food place. Pizza quality is like your local Pizza Hut. Pizza delivery from Pizzaria Limon is always late, do not order a delivery from this place. Expect an extra 20 minutes on top of what you are told on your delivery app.
google avatar

Angelica P.

Yelp
I ordered through GrubHub and this place just lost my order! When customers support from GrubHub called asking them what happened they hung up! Completely rude and unprofessional, no pizza for me!
google avatar

Rachael K.

Yelp
This pizza was small, oily, and overall disappointing. I ordered a pizza with cheese, mushrooms, and sausage. There were hardly any mushrooms on the pizza (about four slices only) and the sausage was very oily. Additionally, the pizza was small, ans and you can get larger pizzas with better quality and the same price at other restaurants. Would not order again

Yelp
We love Pizzeria Limone! No matter what location we go to we can always rely on consistently fresh, delicious pizza and salads. The Caesar salad is so delicious and pairs perfectly with any pizza on the menu. This pizza really does taste like authentic Italian!

Ryan H.

Yelp
Picture this: You enter a pizzeria starving. Only to be greeted with the sounds of the most annoying 2010 pop songs imaginable blaring into your soul. Starving, you soldier on only to be greeted in the most friendly way imaginable: "What do you want." ... "IS THAT IT" ... "NOW IS THAT IT". A miserable soul, you move onward waiting 45 minutes for what you hope will provide some form of nourishment. Finally, the friendly soul that serviced you earlier approaches with what is quite possibly the worst pizza of your life. You had ordered a "Di Bosco" which despite what the menu states was essentially flour and black pepper (you too might question why there was black pepper, but trust me it was the essential ingredient). In all seriousness, this was quite likely the worst ordering and dining experience I've had in Salt Lake. Especially for the most disappointing pizza I've had at this price point. We will never come back to Pizzeria Limone. God knows there's not enough ibuprofen in the world for the music nor enough pepto bismol for the food.

Yelp
I went to this location at about 8:33pm. I checked online before I came and saw on the website it's open until 9pm. When I walked in, there were a few groups eating their meals but the two staff members who were behind the counter immediately ran out of sight. I waited at the counter and they came back out together a minute or two later and said "sorry, we're closed". I explained I was under the impression they were open until 9pm and expressed my disappointment and confusion since this was the second time this happened to me (the other time was at the St. George location). Throughout the interaction I did not feel respected by the two employees. They said they would ask the manager if I could still order and then came back saying he said no. I then asked if I could speak with him, just because I felt so confused. At first he wasn't willing to take my order but then he realized I just wanted one Napoli pizza and did. While I was waiting for my pizza, a couple walked in and I heard one of the employees yell "sorry, we're closed" but then observed they were able to order anyway a minute or two later. And the whole time a few groups were finishing up their dinners so the restaurant didn't have a very closed vibe. I totally understand if things come up and a restaurant needs to be closed early, but when this happens, how about a sign on the door or an update on social media? I understand how hard staffing issues can be, but even if there is no way around closing early that doesn't make it right to treat customers disrespectfully and leave them utterly confused. To be honest, even though I was able to order in the end, my experience leading up to it totally ruined my pizza for me. I also noticed it was made and served halfheartedly. It was cut so sloppily, some of the slices were 85% crust and one of the slices did not have any crust, it was just a triangle from the middle of the pizza. It seems others have had similar issues so I hope things change soon. I recommend those who have made it to the end of my post take their money elsewhere. I did reach out to the company via email to express my concerns and confusion but never heard back.

Yelp
Excellent little pizzas, and the kid's menu is fun, fresh and affordable. I like the setup here. Fresh pizzas made to order, good ingredients and you get to watch everything being made. The cost is much lower than you'd expect, at around $7-8 bucks for your own little pie. As a fat man, I can say that I wasn't completely stuffed after downing my own pizza, but I was pleasantly sated. The crust is light, flaky & chewy, with a little char here and there. Toppings are scant, but flavorful and in the tradition of this kind of pizza. Staff are fine, but on my visit it wasn't busy so they were mostly hanging around in the dining room chatting with eachother and eating food from Cafe Rio. Kinda tacky, but whatever, the atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious. Exactly what we're looking for when dining out with our little kids. Soda comes from a Coke Freestyle machine.
