Pizza is alright. A little thin and droopy but still chewy. The problem is not the food this place has turned into a tourist trap, fishing for tips. Do they not already pay their help? A tip in Italy is for amazing, over the top, service. Not something to be given attitude about when you don’t give it.

We had a great last meal in Naples here yesterday, the service was not the best but the start of the night was the lovely main waitress of the outside area, a small lady with a scarff, she was the only one that was attentive and caring, she took the time to kindly explain what we ordered because we thought they had made a mistake, she was great and we wish to thank her for that. Regarding the food, I was very happy with my last pasta in Naples which was a Bolognese and carbonara for my boyfriend, he enjoyed it. Our last pizza was a ripieno di salami (calzone) and it was delicious. We recommend trying. Ps. Forgot to take a photo of the pizza haha.

We visited Vesi Pizzeria today. shout out for the lovely Katia who looked after us. So friendly. We sheltered from the rain, we ordered Diavola Pizza and a bottle of red wine. The service was fantastic. The food was gorgeous and the wine was lovely especially for €11 😆 we will definitely be back. Thanks again guys see you soon. 🇮🇹❤️🍕🍷

My first taste of Neopolitan pizza in Naples! The 3 pizzas we ordered were juicy and crispy.

Strolling around the neighbourhood on our first (rainy) night in Napoli and were drawn to Pizzeria Vesi because of the attractive outdoor seating area. The flowers dripping from the makeshift ceiling and the twinkling lights set a pretty atmosphere. We easily got a table and were served quickly. Server was nice and joking around. The pizza menu is quite extensive, which to me is a little big of a red flag in general because I believe in simplicity, but there is definitely something for everyone. We ordered the classics: marinara pizza, margherita pizza, Caprese salad, and two Peroni. Everything tasted good and fresh. Overall we had a good experience until the very end. Cover/service was included. When we went to pay, the server said "tip isn't included" and never came back with our change. It was pouring rain and we were tired from traveling 16+ hours from Canada so I didn't bother hunting him down for my change. I've been to Italy several times and know the standards of tipping/not tipping there, and I don't appreciate not being given my change, regardless of the amount. In this case it was €3.50, on top of the cover already included. It just felt a bit shady and rubbed me the wrong way because tipping is not standard/expected in Italy, especially if cover is included on the bill.

Absolutely best pizza I’ve ever eaten. So I came back here 4 times and every time it was amazing. Great staff, friendly and hardworking

The pasta is too salty, but the taste of gluten free and normal is very similar.

I have visited this pizzeria several times and I think it’s my favourite pizzeria. The food is simply divine, I have nothing bad to say about it, only good things. Personally I believe this pizzeria makes the definitive Neapolitan Margherita. The service can be slow at times and the waiters looks absolutely beaten. It’s no surprise though because you see the exact same people in the morning, afternoon, evening and night working there. Also what I really disliked, our waiter once he really messed us about to get a tip. We would have left a tip anyway but I don’t like it when they want to twist my arm.
