Cute little town square which is really picturesque. Mind you its on top of a hill, so might be worth taking the 92 bus. There's many old museums and cathedrals in the vicinity. I also spotted some walking tours in the area.

Charming historic square with cafés, shops, and a lively atmosphere. Perfect for people-watching or enjoying a coffee in the heart of Geneva’s old town.

The former city's market place in the Middle Ages, today the square with its 18th-century fountain, medieval houses, art galleries, antique shops and with busy cafés and restaurants still remains the hub of Geneva's Old Town- popular meeting spot. Not to be missed, indeed.

Place du Bourg-de-Four is a cobblestone square in the Old Town of Geneva, Switzerland.[1][2] Located on the site of the old Roman forum and medieval market,[1][2] it served as a stagecoach stop in the 19th century.[3] It is now a popular meeting place with restaurants and cafes surrounding a small marble 18th-century fountain.[2] The Place du Bourg-de-Four is near the St. Pierre Cathedral.[4]

It’s a place to visit for the tourists visiting Geneva. You will find here also restaurants and cafes, when starting or after finishing your walks and visits in the old town of Geneva. It is also the starting point or the central point of local activities, like the Escalade in December.

One of the most lovely squares in Geneva! Smack in the middle of the old town, with St. Pierre just around the corner, there are several small cafes/bars/eateries right in the square, along with various shops. Great place to hang out and or re-group before/after a day of wandering around the town!

My favorite place over 20 years to spend an evening in Geneva. Cafe de Bourg de Four I feel is the best in the city for steak tartar. But seriously, all of the happy hour & food places here are good. Historically & culturally impressive.
