Plan B

Hmmm ... hard to say and judge this restaurance. Inside like old style Dublins pub rather loudly but Czechs like speak loudly. I took starter "tatar" and main dish steak. Tatar good steak not bad but it tasted a bit sour and I do not why.(sauce and potatos perfect). So food I would propose 4 but for service 5. Nice young girl cared what I needed. Very good. Price compered to other restourante in Olomouc higher than average price in the center.

An interesting restaurant with a weekly menu update. As per my understanding, they rarely repeat any meals. I was satisfied with the options they offered for the time of our visit. The texture of the beef stroganoff was very creamy and flavorful. The soup had a goulash-like texture and was spicy enough. The decor and ambience were exactly my style. I’ve noticed a couple of paintings by the well-known Tamara de Lempicka in particular.

This is a cool bar. The decor inside is very unique and it adds to the chill atmosphere. The beer selection is really good. Friendly service.

Descent food and large portions. There are better options in Olomouc, but certainly a good Plan B.

Fine bar/pub good beer, good service. Unfortunately, quality level of food significanly dropped this summer. If you are not satisfied, really do not like the food and returning the food to the kitchen, you will recieve shocking response: no one else complained...so pay for it. Bitterly dissapoonted and prefering other hot spots nearby.

Excellent food! They have outdoor seating in the Summer, but you'll need a reservation during peak hours. The interior is nice and the staff is friendly.

Found this SMOKE FREE restaurant to be very pleasant and welcoming. Nice pretty waitresses serving an excellent selection of non-urquell beer. I found the people welcoming, I was there from 6:30-8 on a drizzling Tuesday. Tables about half full and filling up over the hour and a half I was there. The menu seemed really fresh and seems to change weekly (I don't read Czech, but google translate helped). I had a very properly cooked steak with mashed potatoes in a Jameson sauce. I wanted to buy all the chefs a beer because the steak was so good (and I'm from the Midwest of the USA. And the beer... Oh the beer was great. No English menus that I know of. I didn't ask. But the other options I remember were a single seafood ravioli, a starter of roasted apples with star-anise, risotto with prosecco and pecorino sauce, there was also a salmon filet, goulash w potato dumplings, slow cooked veal osso-bucco, and an ice cream dessert offering. Anyway, I say go. Get away from the places on the square and come here. I don't think they take credit cards... Not sure... I paid cash.

Walk through the Theresian gate and you emerge in front of a 19th century style "gastropub" called Plan B. What we love the most is its fine kitchen and selection of beers. Lunch menu 100-150 CZK. For evenings make a reservation. During summers come a bit earlier and enjoy sitting outside with a view of the gate.

Very good pub menu and extensive drink list. Server was very helpful and friendly. Helped us in English and had English menu. Great service and location. Can not wait to return and see what else they have on menu. Tonight we had lamb kabob with pita and yogurt sauce and roasted chicken breast with product wrapped asparagus and fresh potato salad with scallions and green onion. All very delicious.
