Very cool store for authentic posters, postcards, books, and more. They also have a new exhibition featuring work by an Egyptian artist but printed in Beirut. Prices are very reasonable, and the guys there were friendly and happy to answer questions. Can’t wait to put up our pieces in our home in Austin!

One of my favorite shops for Lebanese art, perfect for finding unique gifts or adding to your own collection if you’re into art, architecture, or photography. They have a wonderful selection that truly captures the essence of Lebanese creativity. However, my experience with the staff wasn’t the best. The curly-haired lady working there was quite condescending. When I inquired about how one could contribute works to the shop, her response was vague, arrogant, and dismissive. Additionally, I tried to pay with a $50 bill for a $12 purchase, as it was the only cash I had with me, and she asked if I had a smaller bill since it was “only” $12. Despite the staff interaction, the shop itself is one of the best, and I still highly recommend it for its beautiful and diverse collection.

Plan bey is not a simple shop, is an art gallery with beautiful artifacts and paintings from artists of the region. You can find photography, paintings, illustrations, carpets, among many other beautifully made items. I really loved the illustrations from Lebanese artists, I bought two for my place and I will probably buy another one.
